Big show this morning (leading to slightly panicked thread )....

Contractions now about 10 mins apart. Having a homebirth, so I'm going to be about lots, and thought I might as well start a labour chat thread

I'll update as and when...

Oh dear - no news yet? Reckon you'll post really soon after the birth, so figure you must be in the thick of it at the mo. PUSH! PUSH!

Hulababy · 24/02/2006 08:29

Very exciting; another birth so soon!

Thankyou so much for all being here yesterday. I've updated the thread from MoM, but just really wanted to say how much it did help having you all here (with FA and her flags ) - it made a very long slow start of labour much more bearable.

Help! Thought I was in early labour for the past 24 hours with irregular contractions (I'm 37+5)but things appear to have ground to a halt..anyone out there got advice for me? Do you think it is a false alarm and I will still have to wait another 2-3 weeks? Help me girls....C

Hi Carly33!
In my lst preg, and this one (I'm 39 +0) I have had loads of 'false starts'. It could be that you're going to be 'lucky' and it'll come back soon - but if I were you I'd assume that it was just a bit of limbering up. Sorry if that disappoints.
I've been having contractions every 1/2 hour since mid morning, although they aren't very strong. Am hoping that this is it (even though my husband is really keen for a sept baby!) - but won't anticipate anything yet...!

Hello ladies,

I'm 37+2 and fed up with being pregnant- i want my baby... also fed up with the it'll come when it's ready line- yes I know that but can't it be ready now???

I have been having irregular pains for the past two weeks which seem to be getting more frequent but just come to nothing which is even more dissappointing than no pains at all!!!

Busy trying everything to get this baby out although my DP too wants a September baby rather than an August one. I don't care, as long as it's ok and healthy and happy- get it out!!!
