I'm getting really impatient, and Isbn is showing no signs of wanting to be born.

So far:
I am 40+4 today (was due on Saturday)
I am very heavy.
Isbn is currently residing on my bladder, and also a nerve on my left-hand-side hip.
It feels the lowest it has been, and I can't decide whether the tightenings are Isbn's bottom or muscles doing something.
For the past couple of days, I've been feeling sick, like morning sickness, and food has been giving me massive heartburn.

Don't get your hopes up, but I thought it would be a good idea to start the thread, because DH isn't technical enough to start one when the time comes (and is indeed very hesitant about even posting on it)

hope so.

just having another one - think it started at 4:38.

these are annoying, because I can't work out whether they're actually lasting this long, or if my body's tensed up from the real one.

How about church and baby?!

nickelbabe · 03/12/2011 16:44

depends when it comes.

Hope DH doesn't have to leave halfway through the birth to play
(the choir doesn't seem to be able to cope without him...Hmm )

Or, baby during church ?

That could be 'amusing'.

You did want Jesus for a boy, didn't you ? Keeping in with the advent theme and all that ! Xmas Grin

OP posts:
MrsChristmasDB · 03/12/2011 16:48

I'm sure they do ?

Sparklingbaubles · 03/12/2011 16:49

I am thinking you will be cuddling a newborn by morning. I really hope so. Smile

nickelbabe · 03/12/2011 16:50

i hope so too!

No disrespect to the choir but they will have to manage without your DH if you are having a baby. That kind of trumps everything else.

okkeee dokeee, just caught up on the action over here!

Roll call would be helpful for those ladies wanting in on Nickles action!!! Any more twingers likely to pop tonight, or is Nickle going to be a one woman show!

How you doing Nickle? Grin

lostinwales · 03/12/2011 17:10

Ooh that was much less than an hour . Go nickelbabe won't be long now. (Yes there will be a midwife on no worries about that)

largeginandtonic · 03/12/2011 17:11

Hooray! Some development.

Latent (early) labour is just like this Nickel. Lot's of back ache and long space inbetween contractions.

Really hope this is it for you Smile

I have had a ton of family here today. Big buffet type affair for lunch and then tidying. March along the beach with everyone to walk the woofa. Have been sat since they left. Kid tea time now. I am tentatively hoping for tonight.

I give birth on Thursday's and Saturday's. So that's it. Tonight it has to be.

nickelbabe · 03/12/2011 17:11

the next one is due within the next 10 minutes, if they're getting closer together....
