I'm getting really impatient, and Isbn is showing no signs of wanting to be born.

So far:
I am 40+4 today (was due on Saturday)
I am very heavy.
Isbn is currently residing on my bladder, and also a nerve on my left-hand-side hip.
It feels the lowest it has been, and I can't decide whether the tightenings are Isbn's bottom or muscles doing something.
For the past couple of days, I've been feeling sick, like morning sickness, and food has been giving me massive heartburn.

Don't get your hopes up, but I thought it would be a good idea to start the thread, because DH isn't technical enough to start one when the time comes (and is indeed very hesitant about even posting on it)

I'm sitting on my stool (which is very high, so good for positioning - i can definitely feel Isbn at the front of the bump when I sit here - more effective than the ball even!)

and my back feels a bit sore now too.

I've been lurking. Fingers crossed that things are starting to happen. Excited for you :)

that's a pattern - just over 1 hour in between each one!

(i thought it had all stopped again, becauseI was counting 1 hour, and 2:44 came and went, but it's just over an hour)

I can't wait to cuddle mine, whenever he feels like coming out to meet us, I think he's shy!!

I've still had NO indications of labour - don't know if that's good or bad!? No days on end of backache or contractions.... but it'd also be nice to feel 'something' to indicate labour. I have a feeling he'll be born around the 25th December at this rate - has any baby been born 40+30days???!!

but at least I've got the pattern, and the prolonged squeezing (not just a "ooh there's a twinge. ooh it's gone")

And I've received the TENS machine that CuriosityCola has lent me, so it can all happen now....
