Just looking back on this thread a year later, I can’t believe a year has passed.

I’ve had amazing results on scans, 1st lots of shrinkage, second it was to small to measure, last 2 completely clear.

I haven’t been able to continue with immunotherapy due to side effects. Which have been pretty brutal, but hopefully my bodies immune system now remembers what to do if it pops up again. My immune system is very very active now which is why I’m getting such bad side affects.
Once I’ve recovered from the latest side effect I should be able to continue with the vaccine.

Considering what they told me this time last year it’s pretty amazing!
Side effects do get me down but the big picture is pretty good 😊
With the latest advances they are talking about some of these treatments being curative for advanced melanoma for some people. My consultant has even discharged a few patients who had brain metastasis recently. They were the first patients to get the type of immunotherapy I had.
Hopefully this time next year the side effects will be a distant memory and we will be able to back a nice holiday somewhere😃

So glad to hear you are still doing well. Considering where you started, it's amazing to hear the stage you have gotten to now.
I truly hope it never ever returns and you live a long and healthy life ☺️ xx
