Have been trying to re-start my supply for 8 weeks after my dd refused to feed from 4 weeks (12 weeks now) have tried to get my supply going again...have tried everything..latching her on 6+ times a day...nothing

tried expressing 6+ times a day...nothing

tried fenugreek on top of this...nothing

last ditch attempt is to beg my doc for domperidone on tuesday (they wouldnt give it to me last time at 8 weeks)

but im thinking its time to give up!

hiya everyone, sorry its been so long! getting on ok...few drops at a time so getting there slowly!!! managed to get her to latch on last night for a few seconds in the bath so thats good too!! was hoping i wouldnt have a problem latching her on but appear to! she has had a 12 week break from breast though, but every little latch is a good sign!!

Well done you - this is quite an ispirational thread and I have really enjoyed reading it. I am determined to BF too and I admire your attitude so much.

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I am going to save this thread to re-read as encouragement.

hope everything goes ok for your reindeer, its been a hard 12 weeks but we WILL get there, just now she was rooting for breast so thats always good!

I've just read this from start to finish and I think it's a great example of why MN works - support, encouragement and huge generosity coupled with some really good advice.

yeah it is a great example...the pure generosity of people is amazing! dont know what i would have done if it wasnt for everyone here, except give up and be unhappy!
