Adults drinking breastmilk

A discussion on another forum (not a parenting forum, may I add)has made me think-me and my friend both made breastmilk cocktails for our DPs and friends to taste, and just thought of it as a cool thing our bodies could do. Apparently we are weird. Are we?

I also used to squirt milk at people who annoyed me. It was funny

I would chuck a drink on someone on purpose, so why do that?

I would happily make a comment along the lines of "stop staring at my tits then" but that's about it

Please don't squirt me with any kind of milk - when you get milk on your clothes and it dries it smells horrid!

If you squirt me on my bare arm I would in all probability lick it off.

I think you would have to be a very good friend for me to want to drink your milk. Not sure why (I don't have personal relationships with any cows, for example). With vodka and kahlua I might be very tempted though!

I would not like being squirted with any milk really, and find the idea of someone getting their boob out and squirting milk not too nice. I am all for bf its the most natural thing in the world. I would not like to drink bm, not my own or anybody elses, nor would i like to drink formula or eat baby food, thats just me really .

Actually I'd say pooing is the most natural thing in the world, way more animals and people poo than BF.

My Dad always liked to eat rusks, apparently they are nice. Don't know if he drank BM with them though

I read someonewhere about adults drinking bm as part of being treated for cancer, but can't remember the circumstances or where I read it.

No I'm not very young.
I'm very "me" and I have gotten to age in my life where I care not what people think least of all random women who think it's ok to berate me for feeding my son whilst leaning just 4 inches away and finger wagging.
I have also gotten to an age where I don't have to follow a herd and don't need your or anyone else's opinion or approval on what is dignified or undignified.

Why does one have to be young to be dignified or undignified?

I quite happily fed all my children anywhere anytime.
I quite happily "expose" my body - it's a body we all have one.

I'm just very sad you feel that way.

TriniAstra bf is isent it, is it not unless you disagree. Just because i dont agree about using your breasts as a waterpistol and would not drink it myself would not make it wrong.

Oh I certainly would not go round wagging my finger at breastfeeding mothers and giving them icy stears, as bf is the best thing for a baby if the mother is able to.

Well if you aren't young you should be bloody ashamed reducing your breasts to little more than a water pistol I am beginning to think this is a joke as no self respecting mother would do that.

Noddy I don't think squirting milk shows a lack of self-respect. Lack of respect for other people's not wanting to be covered in milk, maybe.

To answer the OP- I think it's because it's a bodily fluid, and we are conditioned as adults to avoid others' fluids... erm, except when we want to be intimate with them, that is.

Oh if someeone is berating you for feeding your child, then I think they deserve to be squirted.

I also don't think it indicates a lack of self-respect if you get your breast out and squirt it. I had to do this once as the milk came out too fast and unexpectedly and DS started choking on it so I had to remove it from his mouth and squirt it away from him until the let-down calmed down.

I don't think that means I lack self-respect.

I do think it's a bit odd to randomly flick it at unoffending strangers though.

She isn't feeding her child though she is talking about random people in nightclubs who annoy her???/I am getting too old for this
