A discussion on another forum (not a parenting forum, may I add)has made me think-me and my friend both made breastmilk cocktails for our DPs and friends to taste, and just thought of it as a cool thing our bodies could do. Apparently we are weird. Are we?

Lol, no I am being completely serious! I'm only talking about mates, in nightclub/party situations, it's only the same as spilling your drink on someone!

And yeah, of course my mates knew there was breastmilk in the cocktails! They were basically white russians, only with my milk instead of some cow!

My mum has drunk my breastmilk - we were away with Ds, he hadn't drunk all his expressed milk, and we'd run out of cow milk to have in our coffee... I thought it was waay too sweet for my coffee, but she reckoned it was better than the coffee creamer.

I did know someone who would squirt her DH - but only by letting him be in the firing range when she had over supply and lo ducked off

oh dear God the dimwittedness of it.

I tried it and thought it tasted weird, but dd seemed happy so I left it at that . i don't think natural curiosity is weird. And although I would never squirt bm at anyone - on purpose, although I did by accident several times - it is in no way the same as waste bodily fluids. BM is a food and not unpleasant to taste, unlike poo which you know might cause someone harm if they ingested it. I know I'm having a bit of a sense of humour bypass about the whole argument - but I find it really offensive to have wonderful breastmilk placed in the same category as wee or ejaculate.
