Holy unbroken sleep, Batman. This is the first feed since I got her to sleep at 1.50!
Welcome milktray - hope you got some sleep?
Everyone else survive? Time for a well earned Brew

GiraffesAndButterflies · 17/04/2013 08:07

I bite DD's nails, that prob sounds gross but it works really well. And YY to the dirt under them!!

Welcome and congrats milktraylady

Sorry to hear you are still struggling MrsN and larle

Favourite Ben and Jerry's has to be Cookie Dough- NOM.

DHhas definitely got a better touch than I have when it comes to getting DD down. We still can't find any causes if her colic/reflux though, so just in case it helps I am giving up caffeine.

Decaf tea is not a problem but this also means no. more. chocolate. I may as well kill myself now SadSadSad

Anypants · 17/04/2013 08:43

Giraffe - rather you than me. Not sure I could carry on without caffeine! Luckily the colic is not every night so I haven't got to give it up (yet).

MrsNPattz · 17/04/2013 08:44

Up and at em here, he went back down at 6 but only until 7:15 so we got up and are just having breakfast.

Giraffe ouch no chocolate!!! Good luck Blush

We have a man coming this afternoon to do a safety check of the house for when little man is mobile god help me I already can't cope then we are meeting a new friend this afternoon, we met at baby group and she has been really supportive so looking forward to a natter.

Couldn't survive without chocolate! HV said it sounds like baby larle has had a tummy bug. When he stopped at my sisters on sat my niece said she had a bit of the runs, didn't think much of it but it looks like DS caught it Hmm

Pinebarrens · 17/04/2013 10:13

hi Mrs think we're a contender for oldest not sleeping through baby too.

DS was born on 25th Sept. so 6.5 months.

not bad last night,up at 11.30 for a feed then that was him until 6.45. the night before however up twice.

i think he's getting a bit better in that he's doing longer stretches of sleep but sleeping through seems a long way off for us.

MrsNPattz · 17/04/2013 10:40

Pine little man was born the 16th so 7 months yesterday, not far off little Pine!

Hope baby Larle feels better soon'

Poor baby path.
Hey you two with your non sleeping babies, my ds didn't sleep through until he was two Grin. It will come.
I recommend doing what works, prioritising naps and getting them an early bedtime. Ds sleeps much better now if he's in bed at or just before seven with a calm routine prior to bed.
Your little ones probably still need to feed, you're not doing anything wrong.
Em.

I have no idea how feeding was for us after around 3 am. I got back to sleep at 5and ds was up and full of beans at 6.
Luckily dh got up with him and I slept until 830 yay!
Off to play with my new pump Confused

Emilythornesbff · 17/04/2013 11:39

For path read Patz obviously.

funchum8am · 17/04/2013 17:30

mrsn babyfunch is getting better but still not sleeping through either, and is nearly the same age as your little man (born 4th Oct.). Bad night for her last night, up every 30 mins or so from about 3.30am Sad. poor DH.

Has anyone else read "French children don't throw food"? My mum recommended it and it is very interesting so far...apparently the vast majority of babies sleep through from just a few weeks old. Harrumph!

MrsNPattz · 17/04/2013 18:18

Will we ever have good nights Funch!! Never read it and don't want by the sounds of it lol

OP posts:
MissingMyMarbles · 17/04/2013 19:13

Crikey! Just had to catch up on eight pages!!

Can't stop. DH is at a meeting and I want to play games with DD1 now Missmarbles is in bed. Think she might be the oldest at nine months although isn't Goat's kid a bit older? That said we are at last, down to only one night waking YAY!!

WW q for MrsN: do you track your healthy checks or not??

Hi newbies and congratulations! Will try and check in again later.

larlemucker · 17/04/2013 19:17

Stayed the same at WW tonight but considering the amount of chocolate and wedding cake I've eaten I can't complain!!
Baby larle is on his 4th nap, really hoping for some sleep tonight otherwise I think I might lose the plot what little of it I have left

MrsNPattz · 17/04/2013 19:27

Huge hello to Marbles - we miss you! And Susie, Small, Brain, Heff, Amey. We saw Funch earlier.

I don't track them on the App physically Marbles but I always make sure I drink lots of water and have 5+ a day. Don't think about dairy and oils and stuff though. Have you abandoned Slimming World?

Well done Larle!

Oh guys I just have to tell you what hubby brought home today - a peanut butter twix from an American food shop!!! Omg it was sooooo good. There four half fingers in a pack and I had 3 for 9 points and it was so worth it! Yum!

Nope sorry, I WIN on the age thing. BG is nine months tomorrow. And if he had arrived on due date, he still would have beaten yours by one day, mrsn ! Wink
Poor BG though, still not a happy nappy chappy. Had to er, have the bath early this afternoon. And this afternoon he spent an hour just lying on me with his head on my shoulder. Not the slightest bit usual! He did make up for it later by showing me his new climbing skills Hmm but this isn't the best start to my first week back at work! Grandma is coming to look after him tomorrow because I absolutely have to go in.
Giraffes no chocolate?!! You deserve the biggest mummy medal ever.
Sorry cant scroll back to remember everyone's news. Sprinkling sleepy dust as I scramble for some myself.

abi2790 · 17/04/2013 19:41

Evening ladies Smile

DS has had a couple of short naps today so hopefully that means he'll sleep as well as he did last night.

He's been a bit cranky tonight with a snotty nose and he's been even more sicky than usual.

Emilythornesbff · 17/04/2013 20:40

Babythorne is sleeping on my lap.
I'm hiding out in the bedroom while dh tries to settle sleep reluctant ds.

I find myself wondering where you all are. Smile
Wishing everyone a good night.
Em.

GoatBongosAnonymous · 17/04/2013 21:19

emily I am hiding in my bedroom too, wondering how long it will be before BG realises that he has fallen asleep with his left leg up the side of the cot and his head rammed against the top. Hmm

Maybe this is the answer to sleeping through?

MrsNPattz · 17/04/2013 21:38

Oh dear, little man not even down an hour and he has woken, I had just dropped off. Not a good start!

OP posts:
larlemucker · 17/04/2013 21:51

emily do you mean geographically? If not then in bed, blowing a bloody gale outside!

MissingMyMarbles · 17/04/2013 23:07

Ah Goat, Missmarbles was 9 months last week, but as I said, hopefully, we are very nearly there.

So I can have three portions of dairy or oils without using my points allowance (sorry, still sleep deprived due to work Blush)? I found it really hard not to eat my porridge in the quantities I like it, on SW Blush Also thought a change in approach might inspire me. Seems to have worked so far. Weigh day tomorrow so I'll let you know Wink

Very windy (outsideGrin) here. Missmarbles let out a doleful cry over the monitor but is still asleep, so not sure if she'd gad a bad dream, bless her. Hoping to go even longer tonight. Sleepy Mice to all

Anypants · 17/04/2013 23:18

Windy here too - in both senses. I could feel DD's little tummy gurgling at her last feed (half hour ago) and when I put her down, she screwed.her face up and let rip - pffffffffffffft. Takes after her father Hmm
The outside wind is howling - I hope that it's the right kind of white noise to keep her asleep for a while.
Off to bed now, while I can as I have no idea what schedule she's on today!
Sleepy dust all over yourselves x

Anypants · 17/04/2013 23:20

Oh and marbles - I think you still have to count the dairy and oils, but you should be having the minimum portions each day, like fruit and veg and water.
