And we're up again, not hungry he's just awake.

Last feed of the night so he managed with 1, 3 and 5. Much better than last night as I managed to sneak in some sleep when he wasn't looking! Wink

Lol thanks mrsn that's the most enthusiastic triple wave I've ever had! Xmas Grin

goat that post made me Xmas Grin although lots of sympathy for you too!

Feeling your pain tonight amey, got to bed at 1, woken by DD1 at 4 who then shuffled and snorted and tossed and turned in our bed until half 5 when she finally went back to sleep, I'd just dropped off again finally when baby lump woke up for feeding :( its like they're tag teaming me :(

small I don't know about cold curry but I love hot curry for breakfast, often order a bit too much just to make sure there are leftovers!

I'm cold and hungry now, really wish I had a nice lamb vindaloo with special rice and a dhall waiting in the fridge for me but alas, I have porridge or cereal to look forward to instead. Better for the diet but not half as tasty!

And we've been up since 05.40, even my projector didn't work this morning, of course dp is still asleep, it wouldn't occur to him to actually get out of bed for onceConfused I prefer the red angry face it sums things up better

Hello, I'm back Sad

Mini Smich did his first 6 hour stint on Thursday at my parents' house and I was Grin Grin Grin , but since then he has regressed...every two hours again! is there a 10 week growth spurt?!

I've missed lots so will try and catch up! Hope you're all getting lots of sleep and are all well.

elvislives2012 · 03/12/2012 06:53

Every two hours exactly. In knackered Hmm DH fast asleep but will no doubt complain about how tired he is later. She used to do every three hours-it's getting worse not better!

Report
MrsNPattz · 03/12/2012 06:59

Up again after another 2 hours Hmm not impressed - yep amey I think that does make it feel worse! His sleep in the day really varies, sometimes he has hardly any (a few 20 minute power naps) and others he will have a lot (3 hour nap at lunch time yesterday!). I don't like waking him up so I just go with the flow to be honest.

Lol at goat!

I'm not sure about cold curry, or hot curry for breakfast haha I will just stick to my chocolate shreddies

I know 715 is a reasonable time for a baby to get up but I want more sleep! Confused X

Report
Goatbongohohoandjinglejingle · 03/12/2012 07:26

7:15 isn't reasonable. [Fangry] I have decided. If we are going to do baby disco until 7 then drop off for 15 minutes, we can make it longer and wake later... Or perhaps go and prepare breakfast for mum? Complete on tray with rose in small, tasteful vase?
Actually I quite like cold curry too. Thought that may be because I am too lazy to heat it up first!

Crikey! I see crappy nights all round. I didn't read last night because I was just too knackered. We also had a crappy night. More or less hourly from midnight. I slept in the chair next to the cot because there was no point going back to bedXmas Sad then was freezing and co slept from 5. Will read the 5 overnight pages later as need to get going so tired though zzzzzzzz

MrsNPattz · 03/12/2012 09:14

We didn't get any more sleep here Hmm but on the plus side we are all packed and ready to go after this feed! Good to get an early start but I'm gutted about going home, hate saying good bye and it makes me sad thinking that my mum will be sad when she gets home and he's not here. Back in 3 and a half weeks, but it's no consolation at the moment.

Smallgreenone · 03/12/2012 10:01

We co slept from 5.30 so got a couple of hours. Now having the battle of the naps! I am determined he will nap in his cot he is determined he will nap on me he won the battle last night and I think he may win this one too! When will I win?!
mrsn its hard being away from home. Can you do Skype or FaceTime with your mum so at least she gets to see him. My
Dad just bought an iPad so we can FaceTime my parents baby smalls great grandpa lives with them too and he loves seeing his great grandson.
We were supposed to be going to baby sensory followed by baby yoga this morning but don't think we'll make either as he is finally asleep on me. Now I just need to decide whether or not to bother with a transfer or just let him snooze Xmas Hmm

Ameybee · 03/12/2012 17:29

small we are having exactly the same nap battles! Its torture! I've started feeding lying down on our bed pre nap and leaving him to sleep on there as its soul destroying running up n down to cot & he gets really overtired! At some point need to break the cycle! How old is baby small? X

We are at the doctor's waiting to be seen as babyfunch has been off colour and crying, vomiting and coughing all day, poor thing Sad. Hopefully the doc can help out with the reflux as well as today's symptoms...will be back tonight with an update.

Sorry to hear so many others are battling away over sleep too, we are up against it at the moment aren't we?

Horrible day-dp went into the back of a lorry that stopped dead in front of us, we were traveling at a really slow speed thank god, babyloo and I were in the back and dp and baby are fine whilst I have some minor bruising to my chest from the seatbelt, the car is a write off and the insurance payout is tiny, I've organized a hire car for a week whilst we try and sort out a new car, going to have an enormous glass of red wine after this feed entirely for medicinal purposes!!

Report
Smallgreenone · 03/12/2012 18:34

Oh goodness susie that's so scary. Glad you are all ok apart from bruises. Definitely have a very large glass of wine Xmas Grin
Hope baby funch is ok too, what did the dr say?
amey baby small is 14 weeks and naps have been hard since about 6 weeks or so when he decided he wanted to see everything that was going on in his world! I do sometimes do the same and get him to nap on the bed but he wakes the minute I try and roll away and I desperately would like to get some stuff done in the house. He slept today for 3 hours in his pram whilst I walked about in the freezing cold rain but the weather is turning now and I can't do it everyday even if it is good excersise.
Hoping this is the last feed before bed but thoroughly expecting a rubbish night.
On a more exciting note Kate and wills are pregnant!! I wonder if we'll see her on here in a few months time!! Xmas Grin

How did baby funch get on?

Minipop been a pain in the arse as he had a crap night's sleep, and not napped much either. Had our first transfer fail in a long while tonight, followed by screaming, crying, coughing, and almost vomiting. Booo

Finally caught up. Missmarbles sleeping since 6.45 although have just completed another feed. Hope it was the irksome intruder and now she'll be down for the night. And I hope it's better than last night. Naps have been a nightmare for us too today, Small. In fact the last few days, she will only sleep on me. Can't get anything done and feel like the pleasant and ever improving little routine we did have had gone down the Swanee since she was poorly and not only that, it's getting worse Xmas Sad

Hope you're ok, Susie. Someone ran into the back of us at the beginning of October. After the relief if all being ok, it's really annoying and hassly trying to sort it out isn't it? Xmas Sad

Hope little Funch is ok.

Sorry not to name check further. Who said about curry? Love curry. Hot or coldXmas Grin I'll eat most things cold too. It comes with working shifts and not having a microwave for the longest time. DH used to plate up my dinner but I couldn't heat it so ate it cold.

Oh susie how scary - so glad you are all ok but how awful for you. Take it easy and enjoy your wine! Hope you get an easy night.

funch hope it went ok at the drs and little one is feeling a bit better!

We are home, I'm knackered and feeling pretty tearful but I am sure I will feel better tomorrow! Hoping for a good night but not expecting it!

I'm annoyed as my car is overdue it's MOT and it's our last baby massage on Wednesday! I really want to go as we missed it last week and I would like to stay in touch with the other lady that goes so don't know what to do! The garage hubby wants it to go to is ages away so can't see it being done in time. Ho hum!
