Funchum step away from Gina!
although I really like goat's suggestion of shutting her in a room with all our babies Seriously though, she is likely to just make you feel
and want to cry. Have you looked at the Baby Whisperer? I know many people who have found that a gentler way of establishing some kind of routine. But to be honest the best routine is the one LO wants to be in, that's what will keep them happiest, as long as it doesn't drive you batty
They will start to show their own pattern soon enough, and every baby is different in terms of efficiency of feeding and sleeping patterns.
Sorry about your tum goat
and heff I hope you can survive til Monday with the toothache! What is it about baby screams that just seems to penetrate the teeth and amplify the pain about ten times?! Hideous - not sure I've forgiven BabyTea for starting that just after I had my tooth out
I know lots of poorly babies at the moment
- poor minipop with his bronchilitis, and another baby I know was in hospital for several days with it. Now another friend's baby has just been struggling to breathe in the night, and they suspect she has croup
and another recently had suspected whooping cough (although thankfully it turned out not to be). So many horrible bugs around at the moment
After The Night From Hell on Thursday, DS has been a bit better the last two days. We just got a four hour stint, and there has been less raging going on. He's really got me all at sea at the moment though - I was starting to feel like we had got into the swing of things and I was really enjoying motherhood for the first time, but the last 2 weeks I feel like the rug's been pulled out from under me. Things with DH are also a bit stormy which is just adding to the stress and upset.
nothing like a long moany post at 4:45am, eh?
