MrsNPattz · 27/10/2012 05:56

evil yes you are probably right [hgrin]

Going to hand express some I think.

Snack wise I just had some nature valley oats and chocolate bars - boring compared to muffins!!

Hi to everyone new and congratulations [hsmile]

NervousAt20 · 27/10/2012 06:04

Forth feed here, I knew we would only get an hour

[hgrin] cat that sounds horrible but did make me smile

miss belly were at about 10min too and fingers crossed that seems to Di the trick for us

duck I can deffinatly relate to waking up talking nonsense, my DP has had a laugh or too this week.

So I checked amazon about Ewan the sheep and I'm still not sure how he works, what's this about favorite legs Confused and hwhere do you put him??

Think it might be back to bed time for us

Goatbongosanonymous · 27/10/2012 06:11

Wow, this is a brisk thread these days. I can't keep up! Already more than a quarter of the way to a new thread. Grin

There are some good nights tonight, how fab! Hope it rubs off on the other babies. We have just managed 2 1/2 hours sleep after the major early morning hissy fit (and obligatory accompanying mummy meltdown). Now feeding quite briskly - he is obviously hungry. Won't get any more sleep though as I have to go into work today.

Smallgreenone · 27/10/2012 06:15

Well Ewan didnt work this time! Baby small woke one hour after last put down. He just wants a cuddle so now he's on me.
nervous Ewan is indeed a cuddly sheep. His tummy glows red to replicate the light babies see inside the womb. His legs play different soothing noises. His tail has Velcro on so you hang him somewhere near baby. We have an iron bed so he's attached to our bed and baby stalls basket is pulled in close so he can see him then when he's bigger he will hang on the cot. There is a website explaining it all and there are more Ewan products on the way!
Going to try putting baby small back in now as really don't want to be up for the day just yet.

MissMyBellyButton · 27/10/2012 06:23

Ffs , we're awake again. The ten minute transfer worked but she was awake again after an hour. This is all so disappointing as she was a great little sleeper until she hit four weeks. Don't think it's a growth spurt as she's no changed her daytime habits. This is coinciding with my recovery from being very unwell with retained placenta. Feels like she knew and was taking it easy on me.

Well done B aby NPatz and MiniPop. Lots sleep through from six weeks and supply is established now so I really wouldn't worry Mrs NPatz.

Cold here too and I am confused over bedding. Baby Button is wearing a long sleeved vest, babygro, brushed cotton swaddle that wraps around to give about four layers and one layer of a cellular blanket. No idea of that is okay. Will be much easier when she's in a grobag as the swaddle makes things uncertain.

MrsNPattz · 27/10/2012 06:44

Thanks for the reassurance missing, I guess I should put more trust into my body [hsmile]

Snow has been replaced by rain today, still cold though!

Susieloo · 27/10/2012 07:08

button there is great advice from mothercare re bedding and what baby button should be wearing according to the temperature and gow many blankets, if you google 'mothercare how many blankets it should come up, if the first link comes up and doesn't work try the next one down.

Will read through all posts over a nice cappuccino now, my dream feed seems to have got us through till half six which is not bad.

mrsn don't worry about your milk you will be fine and fantastic news about the sleepGrin

Right coffee time

Susieloo · 27/10/2012 08:28

Ha ha we all get mixed up hey funch my mil & fil can hardly look after baby J Sad

Had a nice stretch in the early hours which has been a refreshing change. I got from 4 til 8 Grin

MissMyBellyButton · 27/10/2012 09:31

Thanks Susie, will have a look at that. DH has taken DS swimming so we could have a lie in but I am still here feeding Sad. Will have to get my energy from food today. We made chocolate fridge cake yesterday so that will be a good place to start.

HorridHeffalumpsWickedWoozles · 27/10/2012 11:02

Woop woop for all the good sleeps last night! [hgrin] Ours wasn't bad, 2am to 6am then down again until 10 although unfortunately I didn't get to sleep much after 6 as DD1 came in and stole my pillows and duvet leaving me shivering on the edge of the bed while she, DH and an assortment of teddies snuggled up all warm together.

cat that sounds horrible but I'm afraid your post did make me [hgrin] hope you are soon relieved!

funch what an awful journey, its the worst when you can't even get them out to cuddle & soothe isn't it. Glad you all got home in one piece. DD1 once screamed almost the entire journey from Cornwall to home, about 4 hours, it was horrendous :( so much sympathy for you yesterday.

Can't believe how fast this thread had been moving, it's taken me most of the night to read through!

Wishing good restful days to you all, see you tonight x

MrsNPattz · 27/10/2012 16:47

I used my pump to express for the first time today, it went well and managed to freeze about 50ml [hsmile] feel confident that hubby can do some feeds next week now [hgrin] how my Saturday's have changed LOL

Hope everyone is having a good weekend - my Saturday night will consist of take me out/x factor and a take away!

missingmymarbles · 27/10/2012 17:00

Aaarrgghh! Grin We are home now. I only checked in 24 hours ago and already there are another 7 pages!! I will be able to keep up better now though now that we are back.
Hi to all newbies - this thread is a night time saverSmile
Hope tonight will be ok, as naps have been a bit belly-up today with travelling.
Hope everyone ok.
Probably see you all later.

HorridHeffalumpsWickedWoozles · 27/10/2012 17:06

Just had to check in and share my excitement, DH has just come back from town with a big bag of peanut butter pretzel flipz for me [hgrin] ooooh yum! I'm almost looking forward to the night feeds tonight so I can scoff the lot [hgrin] [hgrin]

DuckWaddle · 27/10/2012 17:49

For the first time I'm looking forward to going to sleep as Ewan the sheep arrived today!! I'll keep you posted with how we get on!

MummyVicky18 · 27/10/2012 18:59

Evening all,

Gaining an hours sleep tonight??? Pah not likely lol Grin

Does anyone else's baby have a lovely bath time then cry when getting dressed? Mine does every single night even if he's been perfectly happy & smiley until then

Susieloo · 27/10/2012 19:07

Last feed before bed for a very over tired babyloo who has had about an hour and a halfs sleep in total all day, this usually means a disturbed night so I'm bracing myself, this is without the clocks going back, out day could be starting at three am at this rate.

duck babyloo is going to sleep with ewan on tonight for the first time, he's chugging away as I feed so hoping for miracles.

My American soda order is due for delivery on Wednesday so I am very excited about the peanut butter pretzel thingies, and the Hershey bar and the peanut butter cookie dough.....

We are staying at my parents tonight, this is similar to sleeping in an iglo so I have a very low wattage plug in radiator that I might be turning back on in the middle of the night if it gets too cold. Really hoping for a straightforward transfer to cot but who knows after a day with no sleep.

Have a good night everyoneSmile

Susieloo · 27/10/2012 19:10

Yes mummy exactly the same, someone recommended a warm towel, sorry cant remember who!!! Which does help, perfectly happy on the bath then begin drying and dressing and big yells.

MiniPopsMum2012 · 27/10/2012 19:25

Hey everyone waves

Thanks susieloo

mummyv I was thinking the same thing, no chance of an extra hour in bed, bah!

Fingers crossed duck that ewan works. :)

button minipop has a long sleeved top, baby grow, sleeping bag 2.5 tog & some blankets because it's freezing in our house at night. Probably breaking all the rules, but he doesn't sleep if he's too cold.

Hope everyone's had a good Saturday despite their freezing weather. See you all back later. [hsmile]

MrsNPattz · 27/10/2012 19:43

heff oooo yum enjoy!! I finished mine today and the white fudge ones - they are yummy too! We had Dominoes for tea and they have warm toffee apple cookies so got them for pudding [hgrin]

My little fella has slept loads today - not sure what that means for tonight [hhmm]
I'm wondering if its a growth spurt??

MummyVicky18 · 27/10/2012 19:44

Drying is ok susieloo it's just the dressing part lol he calms down after lol

Clumsasaurus · 27/10/2012 20:01

Hi everyone sheepishly waves

Sorry I've been MIA, I'd love to say its because babysaurus slept thru both nights but alas not! I've been keeping him awake with my cough which seems to be getting worse not better [hhmm] so nights have got a lot worse here and in could scarcely see straight to read let alone post!

He is sleeping for now but in dreading this clock change malarkey [hsad]

Apologies for not direct personal responses - just too many! But bingo the newbies, brrr to those with snow and hailstones and sleepy dust to all!

MrsNPattz · 27/10/2012 20:16

Sorry you are having a tough time clums, hope you have a better night tonight!
