Welcome sarry

clums thanks so much for that, will have a look in the morning.

goat Grin

susie so glad you got a long stretch after your tough time recently!

First feed here after going to bed at 10:30. Not too bad - I think he woke me up at 12:30 but it's a bit of a blur and we obviously fell back to sleep. Really thirsty tonight!

Smallgreenone · 21/10/2012 03:07

Hi all. Just had a panic, iPhone turned itself off and wouldn't turn on again. Thought I was going to be up on my own without you all but it has come back on now - phew!
I have a cold too saurus rubbish isn't it.

Smallgreenone · 21/10/2012 03:13

Particularly annoying when baby has fallen asleep and then you sneeze and wake them up so have to start from scratch as is what has just happened here!

Goatbongosanonymous · 21/10/2012 03:23

Back to 3 hours between feeds, which is not too bad as he has sped up considerably, thank goodness. Yesterday he did nothing but eat - literally. I thought he was going to explode!

Hi sarry

clums and small Sad about the colds, hope you recover quickly.

Susie and Mrsn sounds like you're having better nights.

And never fear everybody, we went to the supermarket yesterday and there are now biscuits!

HorridHeffalumpsWickedWoozles · 21/10/2012 03:24

Hi sarry :)

susie fantastic stretch of sleep, much deserved, hope it continues for you!

I don't know where to start with our night so far, its been pretty rubbish again I've had an hour so far in between feeds, random wakings and lots of sick :( I daren't moan too much in case I can't stop though!

vicky hope you're ok and you had a good night in your friend's memory Thanks

The thread seems quiet tonight, hope that means there's lots of sleeping mums & babies out there :)

HorridHeffalumpsWickedWoozles · 21/10/2012 03:26

goat glad you remedied the biscuit situation, an empty biscuit tin is a sad thing indeed.

Now I fancy a borbon...

MiniPopsMum2012 · 21/10/2012 03:39

Oh woe, thus thread us so busy :) I go away for two days and there's 10 whole new pages Grin

hello to every who has joined, I will try & catch up next time I am on the laptop with even tho thats happens.

Minipop's scab went ok, they confirmed reflux so that sure what will happen now as that's kind of stating that obvious.

We're in the mid lands visiting family his weekend, its been great having willing baby sitters for a change. Me and DP actually make it out for dinner last night. :)

how are all the babies doing.? X X X

Smallgreenone · 21/10/2012 03:45

Ok he's asleep again time for operation Moses basket..........

MummyVicky18 · 21/10/2012 03:52

Hi all,

Evening out was nice given the circs, was nice to catch up with old friends. Still have the funeral to come yet Sad

Where r u visiting in the midlands mini ?

I could really eat some biscuits right now but can't be bothered to go downstairs. I knew I should have brought some up. Never mind

Goatbongosanonymous · 21/10/2012 04:06

minipop welcome back! good to hear the scan was ok, if a bit inconclusive on the action front. Hooray for having dinner out - hope it was delicious!

Vicky sounds like your night out was all it needed to be for you, glad you could be with friends like that.

Kid is currently trying to tie himself in a pretzel while feeding...

Tallgiraffe · 21/10/2012 04:24

Sorry you're having another rubbish night heff, I was hoping there was something in the air and all the babies were having good nights!

All this biscuit chat is making me peckish! Which given that we have 3 types of cake in the kitchen means I could be heading for a mid-night snack Grin

Fairyjen · 21/10/2012 04:37

Please keep me awake! Feel awful posting given some of the threads but ds has been sleeping through for ages. Why he got up at this time will never know. Not used to it tho and finding myself zzzzzzzzzzzzz dosing off!

Susieloo · 21/10/2012 04:44

2nd feed of the night and not sure how much sleep we will get after this, I'm going to have to go downstairs and express before my left boob explodes!! Think out fridge is empty of anything exciting though. Angry

I have downloaded the American soda app and already have 4 things in my basket-oh dear!!!!

Hope everyone getting some sleep.

Susieloo · 21/10/2012 04:47

small babyloo jumps a mile if I sneeze when he is feeding or even if I blow my nose, it always reminds me of that clip with the giant panda and her baby that did the rounds a couple of years ago when one of them sneezes.

Welcome fairy I always love hearing about babies that sleep throughSmile

Fairyjen · 21/10/2012 05:05

He sleeps all the time! (obviously not today!) I don't think it's normal actually. Usually get ten minutes in morning with him, after have dragged him out of bed like a teenager so can take dd to school, and then he sleeps till around lunchtime etc etc. reading on here I reckon he could teach a few of these babies a thing or two! I could hire him out as a sleep guru for babies?!?

MummyVicky18 · 21/10/2012 05:08

Arrrghhh!!!! Why am I still awake!!!!!!

Baby J has been fast on since 4 but I just can't seem to get back to sleep.

Got to get up at a reasonable time in the morning as going to the church to see about getting baby J christened. Is anyone else doing this or thinking about it either christening or naming day etc?

MummyVicky18 · 21/10/2012 05:10

What's ur secret then fairy Smile

Baby j usually wakes up every 2 hours!!

Fairyjen · 21/10/2012 05:21

Sadly I think it is jus luck and the fact fact he really likes his sleep. I prefer that to the other option which is me being worlds most boring mummy!

twizzlestix · 21/10/2012 05:22

I'm glad some of the babies are sleeping better tonight and I hope that those with colds feel better soon :( I feel your annoyance with the sneezing waking the baby. If I cough, baby Twizzle jumps 6ft so I dread to think how tricky it is with a cold!

So far we've done 8-9, 9.10-11.30 :), 0.00-2.20 :), 2:40-4.10 and we've dozed/fed since then! At least ive had a couple of 2hr stretches!

This thread is not going to help post baby weightloss, all the talk about choc covered pretzels and peanut butter filled goodies has led to me downloading Americansoda too!

Smallgreenone · 21/10/2012 05:55

mummyvicky baby small will be christened but not until next year probably. Think we will do yet at the church we got married in and then party at my parents as they have a huge garden. My mother is very excited by this prospect as it means she can legitimately buy loads of champagne and then keep a big stash for herself!
I'm going to download this food app. I can't stand not knowing what you're all talking about. Think this could be dangerous!

missingmymarbles · 21/10/2012 06:10

Hellooooi!
Well it was a very stressful morning getting out if the house, but we had a lovely day moseying over and arriving in welsh Wales.
Mobile reception isn't great, and I have just caught up on 5 pages of thread, so sorry for not name-checking thoroughly.
Missmarbles is copying Babyloo again. Down at 8-1.30, although had to do a nappy change, then when I put her down I lay for 10 mins listening to her singing! I lifted her, she did a mahoosive burp and fell asleep til 5.30! Rather than diving back into bed as she's sleeping again, I am mn'ing while I have reception - wally!
What's the food app - it sounds great! I am the biggest I have ever been at the minute but am not dieting til I start weaning Missmarbles. And peanut butter Oreos are delish but I never seen them over here. Where could I acquire some?
Right am off back to bed.

Susieloo · 21/10/2012 06:46

We are up for the day but babyloo yawning so I might get another hour on the sofa, I'm going to get into bed at half seven tonight and try and make the most of the first long stretch by reading for half an hour and then sleep, I'm already excited about the idea!!

marbles glad you are having a lovely time, the food app is called American soda and I already have a basket full worth £30!!!

Susieloo · 21/10/2012 07:00

marbles what is miss marbles napping like in the day? I'm trying to strike the balance between enough sleep in the day so not too overtired but not too much sleep so he doesn't sleep for long enough at night.

MrsNPattz · 21/10/2012 07:00

Welcome fairy

Americansoda's profits will be going through the roof Grin

Just got another 3 hours or so, not sure if this is us up for the day or not - will see what happens after this feed.

Mum arrived yesterday but we have no plans today yet - what are everyone else's Sunday plans? vicky hope you get on ok at the church.

I forgot to say, we went to get little fella's hand and foot prints yesterday at Mothercare - it was bloody awful as he cried and cried, it broke my heart and I felt very guilty. But it will be nice to have the keepsake and I also got an imprint of his tiny nail which is going on a bracelet Smile anyone else had anything like this done?

Smicha · 21/10/2012 07:03

Morning. I'm officially bored of night feeds! I wouldn't care if my boobs exploded if ds would just sleep through a bit longer or go back to sleep more quickly after a feed. His current cycle is sleep for an hour and a half then stay awake for two. I'd give anything for the three and four hour stints he was doing a week or so ago!

Vicky glad you had a good night out in spite of the circumstances! I can't remember when I last had a pint! Would love to go to a pub for the evening but I have no idea when that will happen! Dh mentioned something that's on at the theatre in London that he thought I might like to see and ny response was simply a bemused look as I can't believe he thinks there may soon be a point that we can have a night out in London!

fairy hello and I'm jealous! Tell us your secret! Does the real Ewan the sheep live with you?!

goat thanks for the mental image of a baby looking like a pretzel Smile very cute!

minipop glad to hear the scan went well and I hope they are able to take some action now.

clums I just checked out that link as we have screams when the wind is painful so I'll give that a try thanks.

Ds had just dozed off on me and I can't believe that after reading this thread I've just allowed myself to sneeze and wake him up!

I'm starving with all this talk of bad good food! We live in a three storey house with our bedroom right at the top and kitchen, obviously, right at the bottom so my saving grace from eating too much at night is that my laziness about going down then back upstairs outweighs my greed!
