My last post is today's situation. I just don't know what to do. I am seriously considering giving up, i dread every feed. I just really need someone to tell me what to do.

Excellent news lookout, such a good place to be!

And you, Titania, all well?

Mostly good here - except a stinking cold (DS). He refused his top-up last night - that's got to be a good sign - right?

Lookout & metal elephant - fab news that all is getting better.

metalelephant · 02/12/2011 15:31

Titania, it's definitely good news that he refused the topup! it's all about little steps isn't it?

For the past two weeks almost, my dd has been pretty much without topups...
Perhaps she's had 3 topups, the rest has been breast. Early days, but feel so much more optimistic.

Lookout, very happy for you and lo, let's keep eachother posted, same for you Titania please.

Corny as this may sound, I don't think I would have come this far without women like you helping and supporting me xx

lookout · 02/12/2011 16:47

metalelephant, i feel the same, don't care if it's corny! i'm so pleased there has been some improvement! you're absolutely right, it is about little steps, and taking each feed as it comes. it's so hard in the first few weeks with the hormones raging and all...

titania, same goes for you - great news!! baby ds2 also has a cold, it's my first time with a baby cold so has been pretty horrid. ds1 didn't get a cold til he was much bigger so this has been a new experience for me. he has managed to feed though, even with a blocked nose!

definitely keep in touch Smile
