Is anyone expecting a March baby?

I've just found out I'm pg following a mc in April at 12 weeks, so I need some company

sfb you are super brave.. i would never have the guts to do something like that. but i totally agree with what you said about having a massive prob then i had never even thought to worry about and then i was even more aware of what could go wrong.

jeffily that is such a hard decision to make. With me, they told me (and i knew from dr google) that triploidy is a fatal disorder. babies never make it past childbirth and if they do they never live more than a few hours or days. they said i should terminate and i wanted to wait to let it happen naturally but after 3 months i couldnt cope anymore and the baby was getting sicker. so eventually i asked to be induced. it was horrible and will stay with me forever. I think once ive got past my scans i will feel lighter. but im just so much more aware of the dangers now.

I'm new to this thread. I'm pregnant for the first time, and the baby is due around the 25th March.

At the moment I'm feeling great! Ok, well, I'm pretty tired but thankfully I work from home so I can sleep most mornings.

But I'm not experiencing any morning sickness or any boob pain. To be honest, my boobs are looking great hahaha.

I admit that I am on "knicker watch" whenever I use the loo. I'm not toooo worried but you can't help it, can you?

I don't really understand how the 'stats' work, but can somebody please add me? First baby, due 25th March.

Really sorry mslucy this is my biggest fear and can't imagine how you are coping, hope you are having some RL support.

SFB, the info on the glamour shoot is light relief, thanks for that. Can't imagine I would ever have been brave enough to do something like that!

I can't wait for my scan next week, just want to see the little one and know it is all okay. kateandemsmum I don't understand why it the nuchal scan free some places but not others, it seems to be being rolled out as when I had DD I had to pay but I get it free this time...but only if I go to a hospital that it has been rolled out to (I have a choice of 3, so that was a deciding factor).

I have been sent a consultants appointment for the 6th October as well, to discuss birth options after the EMCS last time. Really not looking forward to that! Hope I get a nice sympathetic consultant.

I'm sooo tired I could cry, really struggling to cope with work at the moment, but it's actually more manageable than chasing after DD all day. I would kill for a morning at home by myself, no DH, no DD, just a sofa and a DVD! had an awful headache yesterday as well, I'd forgotten about them , first one this pregnancy though...I resisted the paracetamol.

Hi FuzzyWuzzyWuz I think we're in the same boat - new to Mumsnet, first time pregnancies and due around the same time.

I don't understand all the abbreviations people use on MN. For example, what does DD mean?

Anyway, sorry to hear you're feeling a little rubbish. I have felt a little weepy/whingey occasionally - my poor partner has been on the receiving end of a couple of late-night "tired and emotional" rants.

Hopefully you'll turn a corner later in the pregnancy and feel better :)

There should be a link at the top of your page for Acronyms. There are loads, I still don't know what they all mean and often try and guess some of them now, which can be amusing if you get it wrong!!

wow after reading 881 messages i get to leave my own lol am sorry for any people that are suffering loses or are having problems my heart goes out to u knowing what you are going though,
am due march 29th had two scans already and great to see heart beat even though the last scan showed i had a pocket of blood that will come out am so scared need this baby so much have lost 4 already just wish i could sleep now and wake up in march .. ive already got two march babies one is 14 years old and the other one is 1 may be i can only carry march babies. looking forward to sharing everyone's pregnancies with them its nice to no we all in the same boat and due in march

Is anyone else's hair falling out??? Mine seems to be coming out everywhere . I thought I was meant to be getting luscious locks .

I was woken up by my boobs this morning they are feeling really achey. Then my DD1 saw me, er, topless and said in her excited high pitched voice "oh mummy the baby won't be going hungry will it!!" I couldn't stop giggling for ages! Maybe I should book a photoshoot with sfb to preserve them for posterity .

madas - yes my hair is falling out, at a rate of knots. Excuse the weak pun.

I was going to book a GP appt until DH gently reminded me that the same thing happened with DC1, DC2, and both times the GP told me not to worry about it.

New to MN too - first time pregnancy at 34 due march 11th - feeling less than great with the symptoms & can't wait till time passes on and for someone to tell me everything will be OK! Thanks...

Hello all ladies. Have just discovered this thread so thought I'd add myself on. Am a bit of a newbie so testing the water...

I have calculated my own due date to be 7th March 2011, so will add myself to the list.

Was due to have booking appointment tomorrow and I was so looking forward to getting this first bit out the way but midwife called today and rearranged for next Monday - arrgh that seems ages away

Hi, I'm new to Mumsnet and new here but can I join? Am due on 11/3/11 with number 2, DD is 3.

Had a missed miscarriage in March and am having a scan on Thurs (12.8.10) as that was the time that everything went wrong before, am really really really anxious about it all and the last couple of days my sickness has eased up no end. Still have sore boobs and am tired but either way it's worrying isn't it?

Anyway I shall be back if I can join in - will have to catch up with all the lingo in here though!!

In my last pregnancy I had awful morning sickness ALL the time and I felt so weak and whiney and worried that I was over-reacting. This pregnancy I have what I think is mild to average nausea and I realise how much I suffered last time, I was actually hard-ass as i stayed working the whole time! It just goes to show you shouldn't be afraid to say you feel miserable and to take it easy when you need to, don't suffer any more than you have to!

I am a bit on and off with morning sickness at the moment. Feel really queasy most of the time then have a couple of hours where i feel fantastic and completely not pregnant. Which always worries me, but I'm trying not to stress too much. Difficult though.

I am a bit of all of you with your huge boobs. Mine are still rather sad!

Back later hopefully, but need to go now! as am still at work and want to go home!

Hi all,
Welcome to all the newbies today pull up a seat and make yourselves comfy!
I had my booking in apt this afternoon. Midwife seems very nice and things are feeing a bit more real now!!
I can apparently choose to have a Nuchal scan on the NHS - so need to have a chat through that with DH. Had the triple blood test last time and DD was high risk, although I am pretty sure they took bloods on wrong dates as I knew exactly when she was concieved , I chose not to have further tests with DD and put it to the back of my mind! so not sure if I would do anything if tests can back high risk, although I am older now (so age isn't on my side)... decisions....
