Is anyone expecting a March baby?

I've just found out I'm pg following a mc in April at 12 weeks, so I need some company

Good Morning everyone

Wonder if I could join this thread. We found out 2 weeks ago that I'm expecting my second and we are really excited. I am only 7 weeks and with DD never had any morning sickness but just very weak because I am aneamic. I was only given iron tablets when I was almost 8 months with her and this time I demanded it and after blood tests they finally gave me some on Thursday so hopefully all my strength will come back again.

Oh I think baby is due 18th March but will confirm when we have dating scan next month

Anyway....

So sad to hear all the bad news over the past few days - fingers crossed for the rest of us.

All is well here - now definitely into maternity wear - none of my normal trousers even come close.

My chin has erupted in zits. How depressing.

My sickness has now decided to be fine until bedtime, when it kicks in with avengance. Great. And it makes another brief appearance if I have to get up to wee. So much of the night is spent arguing with myself about whether I really need to get up to go to the toilet.

Next scan and blood tests on Wednesday - hooray!

I'm feeling so much less sicky now which is lovely, it's still there but is orders of magnitude less. Very tired though, and slept 8.30pm-8.30am on Fri night. And then 2 hours on the sofa on Saturday

I take my hat off to those of you with DC already.

My boss has sorted my Risk Assessment now, hurrah (nagging pays off!) and I have had rather a number of things removed from my job.

Pretty much 10 weeks ish now.

Hello Ladies

BUnderTheBonnet I bet you'll half the list by the end of the week

Hoping I won't be a victim of the downsize though, my scan is at 9:30 tomorrow, so by the time I've had that and been back to the ward after I should be able to update you all by lunchtime.
I'm very nervous, and taking it out on poor DH with my snappyness etc

My boobs have still definately grown, bra shopping will be a must if bean is still sticking around, and the nausea is fine, then comes on all of a sudden and I have to eat quickly!! Then I'm fine, until the next time that is!!

Hope everyone has managed to relax a bit this weekend and aren't feeling too sick.

Although I have been keeping up with everyone's news via my phone it's quite hard to add messages especially with the level of sickness and nausea I have been experiencing!

Well one of my tried and tested parenting techniques just backfired on me! My DD (4) often develops mysterious "pains" around bedtime, in her finger, or a toe I have always applied "magic cream" (ie sudocrem or vaseline) claiming it cures all ills, which is usually does.

Anyway, DH put her to bed earlier, and chose to ignore the suddenly painful little finger. So, obviously, DD decided to "self-medicate" and after a few strange and ominous bumps coming from her room, I popped my head in to see DD liberally smeared with a mixture of vaseline, sudocrem and talcum powder or all things! It's formed a kind of hideous paste which is everywhere - bedding, pyjamas, hair...aargh!

I've wiped the worst off, but now I'm going to leave it for the morning.

Just popping my head to in to say I won't be around for a week as we are off camping. I am feeling a bit nervous about it as I am still having good and bad days and I do feel guilty about shortening our usual fortnight to one week. Hopefully it will be fine and I will try and be nice and cheery if I can muster the energy!

B bless your dd, mine is the same around bedtime. I had a trauma with my youngest today after she put her electric Thomas train in her hair so it was stuck with all her hair tangled up around the wheels. It took a while to sort it but luckily the scissors weren't required. Bless their hearts !

B you just reminded me of a photo I have of my brother and I (aged 2 and 3) in our bedroom completly covered in talc from head to toe as well as the whole room - hasnt happened with my boys yet, although we have had amusing incidents with other substances, including coal!

I am 8 weeks today and have been feeling really sick over the last few days and extremely faddy with food - there's only a few things I can eat that don't make me feel sick at the moment.

Roll on 12 weeks - it does seem to be going fast so far.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news recently and hope everyone else is well. I have had MS for the past fortnight, well not actually being sick, but feeling queasy for too much of the day I've updated my stats in the meantime to put DD's month of birth rather than age - please do not delete me

hi all,
a quick update as i am at work. Night shifts and feeling sick are pretty much exhausting me at the mo, dh is putting up with lots of moaning! had my booking in on friday now got scan booked for 27th aug feels like things are moving on a bit now.

Feeling v.sorry for you ladies with bad MS at the mo, it is so draining! Really hope it improves soon. It is so varied what can help to ease the nausea but a few people have said ice-lollies are a god send, and i ended up just half freezing bottles of water and then dripping iced water into my mouth when thirsty...it was so refreshing!!

How are we all sleeping? Peeing every couple of hours? i'm so worried i'll wet myself!
Good luck with the camping madasajar the fresh air might actually help with the ms!

morning everyone, hope you have good days if you back at work this morning,and hope all DC behave for those at home with them luckily i have the week of so no 6am starts for me hurrah I think i may be dehydrated as woke up early hours with banging headache and know that i barely drank a glass of juice all day yesterday as i just couldn't bear it, have made a really determined effort this morning and am on 2nd cup of tea... first time in 5 weeks been able to stomach it so maybe its a good sign i can tolerate it now!!i Have dating scan on 24/08

Morning!!!

Well, back from my scan, saw bean, complete with hearbeat. Appears it's 6+6 rather than the 8+6 they'd calculated from having my coil removed, bleeding etc. They say it must have been a 'false bleed' and I ovulated late.

So good news, one healthy bean
Bad news, the internal bleed is still there and seems to have increased in size, though they're now as sure as they can be that my body is coping with it and it shouldn't cause any harm and hopefully dissapear.

I have bumped myself down the list to new EDD..

Great Nosleep that all sounds really positive! I am so pleased for you.

I'm feeling less sick now, but am shattered and could do with sleeping about 4 hours more a night than I get with my live wire DD who was up at 6 this morning. I know that's not too bad compared to some, but it sure feels like crap when I have been up 3x to pee and awake since 5 waiting for the call "Mummmmeeeeeeeee" (Why not Daddeeeee!?)

Madas you might be off anyway by now, but hope that camping is brill. We're also away a lot over the rest of Aug, so I might not be about too much. Still want my place though!

Right, off to put on that beef ragu that John Torode made on Masterchef the other day. It looked so delicious! Sure mine won't be quite the same, but fancying food is a bit of a rarity at the moment so thought I'd make the most of it!
