OK so i know its a few months away but who cares!

So heres to US and our BABIES!!
May our bumps grow and our tiredness reduce.
May our beans Kick and our nurseries be sorted!
May our scans be amazing and our remaining months be filled with positivity and calmness and last but not least
May we all hold our babies in our arms and be filled with unconditional love for our much wanted and treasured little miracles!

WOW - look at all these posts this morning!!!

I really really hope DQ isn't flying from Heathrow today - heard on the news on the way in that BA have gone on strike and the airport is in chaous - they are not letting any flights leave until 6pm tonight and some poeple have already been stuck there overnight. It effects other airlines too apparently as BA baggage handlers work for lots of the airlines at Heathrow - GOOD LUCK DQ - Hope you get away OK!!!!!!

Jasmina, welcome to the thread and congrats. I'll add you onto our stats board.

Ebbie, are you feeling better? Sorry to hear you've been unwell.

TC - great to hear your scan was fab - you truly deserve good news sweetie!!!!

Bonkerz - HUGE hugs to you AND your dh today. I'm sure all that choc should help you feel a little better. Will be thinking of you, chin up sweetie!!!!

Our meal was lovely last night!! YUUUMMMM. We got to talking about how different our lives could have been and how glad we are everythings turned out the way it has. Made me feel all sentimental!!!!!

Is anyone else counting their kicks btw. I mentioned to my mw the other day that babby seems very quiet and she told me to count 10 kicks in 12 hours. Trouble is, this baby doesn't kick that often. Do you think I should contact them about it??? She said to but as it happens every day and not just a one off I'm not really worried?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Nemo1977 · 12/08/2005 10:17

SH with ds we were told not to count kicks until aroun 28 weeks as the babies still have a lot of room to move at the minute...if you are worried phone but i would try the caffeine/ choccie/ fizzy cold drink tact first

sweetheart · 12/08/2005 10:19

stats update

sweetheart · 12/08/2005 10:20

Nemo, when she mentioned it I was quite surprised. I actually said to her isn't it too early to start counting but she said that given my history it might make me feel better to start now.

She said to ring if I didn't count 10 in a day but if I did that I'd be on the phone to her nearly all the time.

Nemo1977 · 12/08/2005 10:22

mm might make u feel better or ten times worse...silly woman

ninah · 12/08/2005 10:34

sh mine only kicks if I eat or drink something it finds exciting, sounds like the last thing you need to be doing is counting kicks, enough to make you paranoid!
Have a lovely hols dq
thinking of your today bonkerz
welcome jasmina
thomcat I saw you in a pregnancy magazine recently, it must've been you .. you all look lovely, and Lottie is gorgeous

Nemo1977 · 12/08/2005 10:42

sweetheart · 12/08/2005 10:54

Ninah, I know what you mean - my bubba either really liked the chinese last night or really hated it - I'm going with really liked it coz that means I get to eat lots more

ninah · 12/08/2005 11:11

blimey don't ask me searching q's like that in my condition! I can barely remember what I had for breakfast (although I do have several breakfasts ...)
new thread, anyone? this is getting difficult to scan and a bit obv at work ...

scully · 12/08/2005 11:21

hi, was off yesterday, as dd decided to throw up loads at around 11pm on Wed evening
she's feeling better now but I stayed home with her yesterday - glad I did, she managed a 3hr sleep in the middle of the day, and even fell asleep whilst Dora was on, unhead of
dh has a cold as well, so germy house right now...
SH, that was me with the book, think I'll give that one a miss then dd already asked too many questions as it is. had to explain all about heaven last night and why her nana is there and can she come back etc etc
good she's curious but sometimes it's all too difficult!
22wks tomorrow, beachball has definitely got bigger. finding it harder now to manouvre off the lounge and out of breath walking up stairs. can't blame that entirely on the bump though

scully · 12/08/2005 11:26

also, was reading a baby magazine yesterday and found that figleaves have brought out a maternity/breast feeding range of lingerie - for those interested who were discussing it earlier on here

sweetheart · 12/08/2005 11:39

yes, seen it on their website - their underwired mat bra is £50!!!!

scully · 12/08/2005 12:07

thought it might be expensive - didn't even bother looking
will just put up with the ones I wore last time -would rather spend the money on my outer layer of clothing
do not know how I am going to last another 14 or 15 wks of work, I am seriously not interested now

sweetheart · 12/08/2005 12:10

Just had a look - the do actually have some cheaper, plain ones. Just the really pretty, lacey one is expensive.

ebbie22 · 12/08/2005 12:20
