OK so i know its a few months away but who cares!

So heres to US and our BABIES!!
May our bumps grow and our tiredness reduce.
May our beans Kick and our nurseries be sorted!
May our scans be amazing and our remaining months be filled with positivity and calmness and last but not least
May we all hold our babies in our arms and be filled with unconditional love for our much wanted and treasured little miracles!

Just been out to lunch with my boss and had a chat about my maternity leave and cover!! 3 months today - I'm outta here!!!!!!!

scully · 12/08/2005 15:25

I've noticed I can't eat as much anymore, get too full too quickly. mind you, I have found room for a chocolate muffin this afternoon
3mths SH, that's great!

ninah · 12/08/2005 15:31

I am eating LOADS
have two v preg friends due Aug/Sept and dp accuses me of only inviting them round so much so thatI look slim!
have quite a yen for Heinz sandwich spread, and anything spicy.

Nemo1977 · 12/08/2005 16:37

no cravings soo far this time...however with ds for 3mths every night for tea all I would eat was mash, corned beef and peas...lol Actually I have had a tiny craving for pot noodles..have been having one about 3 times a week..lol

ninah · 12/08/2005 16:42

pot noodles, filthy !

Nemo1977 · 12/08/2005 16:46

i know

bonkerz · 12/08/2005 16:51

Hi all, chocolate didnt help much and have had a short fuse today with dh and the kids but thankfully dh understood and has just sent me off for a nap while he sorts kids. Dh did buy me a HUGE bar of turkish delight for eating when BB final is on!!
Have a headache from hell but think its all the crying. Spent some money in NEXT on socks and vests for fred and dh has promised tomorrow is for decorating!! Should get it done in one day with both of us doing it and kids can have cbeebies all day! im a terrible mum!!
SH, id avoid the counting kicks for now, fred only kicks when im about to go to bed! then its only about twice or 3 times! Cant remember where i read it but apparently baby is VERY active in their at the moment and has SO much room until 26-28 weeks that it would be very hard to know WHEN it was moving etc, i know that when i listen on doppler i can hear fred move but cant feel it!

ninah · 12/08/2005 16:53

is it the final tonight bonkerz?

bonkerz · 12/08/2005 16:55

oh and as for cravings! Not really any at the moment!!! This has shocked me cos when pregnant with DS i craved for bananas and banana milkshakes from about 14 weeks right through. It was so bad i used to sneak downstairs in middle of night and eat 3 bananas, i was also going through 4+ pints of milk a day and ATLEAST 10 bananas a day.
Am liking citrus things but not to the point where i HAVE to have them!! Maybe soon!

bonkerz · 12/08/2005 16:56

YEP big brother final is tonight!! Cant wait !! Makosi, anthony or eugene im not bothered cos like them all but think makosi should get the other half of the money!

george32 · 12/08/2005 17:16

Well so much for me being up early this morning! Went to see a customer, then came home & have slept til now

Bonkerz, heard something about Makosi being on a actors agency books so I'm rooting for Eugene. I just think it will annoy the others so much.
You lucky thing having a big bar of turkish delight tonight.
Ei, I defintely didn't watch the Robert Winston program, I'm still very much in denial about the whole birth thing.
SH, I agree that counting kicks is probably the last thing you should be doing. Surely as long as you feel something every so often all is fine. Some days my little one is very exciteable, probably because I live on sweets at the moment!
Nemo, I've done the Pot Noodle thing too (but they are so easy to make!)
My bump has defintely arrived this week - no hiding things now!

ninah · 12/08/2005 17:19

george I so agree with you about being in denial - would go miles to avoid anything about it!
bonkerz will look out for it then missed out a huge chunk as been away ... but the final will be good!

Thomcat · 12/08/2005 18:18

LOL at eating, I keep thinking 'right, time to be really healthy' and then I go and eat a packet of crisps followed by some Gree n & Blacks chocolate! Just got back from Sainsbury's armed only with fruit, veg etc. I promise myself to eat really well from next week. I'm making my assistant eat well with me, well I;m not making her I just suggested we do it together (she's not pregannt though).
So fruit smoothie and eggs on brown toast for breakfast, crudities and organic humous for lunch, home made sausage pasta thing that look lovely for tea. Some chocolate for after with a DVD but that's it. Going out for a curry with the girls tonight.

bonkerz · 12/08/2005 18:20

george, i read about makosi too BUT surely EVERYONE in the bb house wants to be an actress/actor/singer/wannabe etc. She only signed up in feb and they helped her do her video which IMO isnt a bad thing! Apparently alot of bb hopefuls use agencies to make their videos etc. As far as im concerned she has played the game, she has manipulated, and has just been so entertaining etc that she deserves some money! She has been very clever!

DH HAS STARTED PAINTING!!!!! he is currently in the nursery in his boxers painting one wall white! (2 are going to be white and 2 wallpapered in light green, mainly cos im rubbish at wall papering so the 2 painted walls are the one with window and door on them!!)

scully · 13/08/2005 12:58

Well hope you're all having a better weekend than I am. dh has the flu (so is at death's door ) and I woke up at about 12.30am and began throwing up for England for the next 3-4 hrs. Have managed a cup of tea, 1 piece of toast and some ginger ale so far today. Think I have dd's bug that she was ill with on Wed night....& it looks like Australia will lose the rugby and the cricket - think I should just crawl under something for a few days and hide.....

bonkerz · 13/08/2005 15:50

NURSERY IS COMPLETE!! Dh did painting last night and 2nd coat today and ive just finished wall papering! Looks ok considering im no decorator! Am proud to have done it and feel good! Just need to find out sex now then can add car/flower border etc.

george32 · 13/08/2005 18:57

Bonkerz, STOP, please!!
Starting to panic, we have to carpet the whole of upstairs and re-decorate the boys room (and break it to them that they will be sharing from now on) before we even get to the nursery. 20 weeks!! Not sounding that long now.....

Scully, you poor thing. I think it is an early night for DD and back to bed for you and DH.
Hope you feel better tomorrow.

scully · 13/08/2005 19:00

bonkerz, well done! we aren't even close, although don't have too much to do apart from carpet and set up moses basket/cot in our bedroom.
feeling vaguely better now, still feel like I've been run over though - I had better wake up tomorrow feeling new and improved

Thomcat · 13/08/2005 19:09

OMG Bonkerz. Our nursery currently holds about 70per cent of D's vinyl collection, so thousands of the blasted things, 2 desks, a mixer, a mixing table that is bigger than most people dinner tables, keyboards, speakers, his apple computer, books, papers etc etc. I can't see how it'll ever be a nursery. he certainly won't be ready to pack up before, oh about a week before the due date!

I did however buy the most beautiful little cropped knitted cardi for the mole when i was out in town between meetings this week. And today i brought breast pads, 2 dummies just in case I'm forced to go there (escaped it with Lottie thankfully), and a moses basket. If anyone needs a moses basket - 28quid in Boots as opposed to 60 in John Lewis.

I'm ordering some maternity clothes as well tonight, to go with the unattractive maternity bras I brought today. Even Elle McPhersons is ugly, got it anyway as better than the others but still gross.

sweetheart · 13/08/2005 19:35

Bonkerz, I'm so pleased for you that you got the nursery sorted. It's a real milestone isn't it - we did ours after we got the all clear at the heart scan. It was the best celebration we could think of. I hope you feel like you've really honered your missing angels by doing this - I'm sure they are looking down smiling!!!

Scully - so sorry to hear your feeling unwell. Hope you feel better soon.

Having an OK weekend here. Apart from being really achey. I had a bit of a fall yesterday, I'm OK just a few scrapes and bruises. I felt like a complete tit more than anything as it was in a playground filled with people. My dh, MIL, SIL and nan-in-law were all there to see it to!!!! How

I haven't had grazed knees since I was about 6 years old

Still, bean is OK!!! He's been kicking ten bells out of me ever since!!!!!

Thomcat · 13/08/2005 23:08

Anyone want to do some online meternity clothes shopping with me?

george32 · 14/08/2005 04:44

Help, I can't sleep.............

Thomcat · 14/08/2005 09:03

Oh George I was awake then but stayed in bed. D got in from djing and woke me up and we chatted and then I couldn't get back to sleep. When I did I had the strangest dream until I heard Lottie calling me this morning.
Did you get back off eventually babes, how are you feeling his morning?
I remember when I was pregnant with Lottie my sleep was so messed up, I was waking really early etc and I thought how cruel that in the months I needed to get my rest I wasn't allowed, it was like sleep was prepapring me for broken nights so I couild cope when Lottie was born. She turned out to be a great sleeper though.
