May our beans Kick and our nurseries be sorted!
May our scans be amazing and our remaining months be filled with positivity and calmness and last but not least
May we all hold our babies in our arms and be filled with unconditional love for our much wanted and treasured little miracles!

I have been up the walls with work and home work!!! Its seems like its never ending this wk.

I have read your posts and i cannot remember what i have just read.. My head is in a right swivel. I am off to have an early night and will re-read again in the morning.

I even forgot to do TP Tues !!!!

Hello! I tried to get on here at home last night but dp has been away and his internet connection is up the creek, I couldn't get online - sorry! I wanted to update you. All is fine and healthy. But no hint of gender cos I had a very prim and proper gentleman sonographer and I didn't dare ask ... also ds was being a huge pain in the proverbial, big mistake to take a 3 year old to scan, what I forgot is you are lying down with gel on your tummy and can't get at them to stop them fiddling with plugs, turning on taps or trying to put their fingers in a fan. Exhausting! 'why's it dark mum, is that a computer, what's the man doing etc etc ..' Thought I saw indications of a boy, but then I did say oh there's the hands and it was the cord so goodness knows .. quite tempted to get a private scan just to find out if not too pricey, curiosity is eating me up! Then afterwards went to the loo (desperate, as you are after drinking all that water) and ds took the opportunity to set off the nurse alarm. Just glad to get out of the place in one piece really
Dq I will email you with my details now - can I add on gender later if I do happen to get a private scan? I don't like yellow!

dq are you still going to have an art room? how fab. I had one for a while but never EVER used it. Would love to do some painting when on mat leave.
Sh I bet photo albums would be a big seller esp among antenatal groups. I am always up for a decent photo album, take hundreds of pics on holidays mainly digital and there is never room for them in the standard album.

ninah, so glad all was well, even if little bean wanted to remain a surprise! of course you can add any info you like to secret stork later. you just write it here and hope your secret stork person reads it!
in about 2.5wks you should get an email with your secret stork person in it..... plenty of time left to shop. think nursery decorations or baby gear if 'yellow' clothes dont appeal. I actually love most of us being on 'team yellow' and not knowing... its going to be so fabulous to check in in dec and find out what you all had!

I cant imagine taking dd (whos 2) to the scans so you must of been either very brave or totally mad to take you 3yr old!!!
yes george, much bedlam here today as we are away tomorrow for 2wks. woohoo! have just done loads of baking (its my kinda calming thing) so house smells delightful and we are overcatered for on the trip! will you miss me?
ninah, no, sigh, baby steals art room so art things have to be in dining room. hence newer tidier desk! theres quite abit of space for it luckily, but did have lovely spacious ariy dining room -not now!! still, another year of so and we are moving. art room high on my list of 'must haves' LOL, (not on dhs unfortunately!)

Dq we took ds to scan with us and he loved it...he has been to every scan weve had including when we lost baby and to be hones ti helped having him there. Although this time he was funny as sonographer said to him ooo is that the baby in mummys tummy and he just looked at her and went nooooooooooooooooo baba...pmsl

Dh finally conceided that I NEED to get away for a few days last night. I've been a bit down with DIY and work and he's agreed that we can go away for the weekend YEAH !!!!!!

Oh, can't remember who was asking me about books but one arrived yesterday, it's called "Made With Love". I don't think we'll be reading it to dd - the section on how the baby is made is quite graphic. I just wanted piccie of how the baby grows inside. I'm not sure I'm ready to explain why a man put's his penis inside a womans vagina and produces sperm

I am 98% ready. I had this huge list to do/pack today and i had done it all by 11am!!!!!!!i was in shock! just need to make sandwiches for tomorrow, and pack last things in morning. wow. scary. dq is not known for her organising!

personally ninah i dont think so...at the end of the day its not like we are never going to find out the babys sex..lol I just think of all the things could buy with the £100 even though we wanted to know the sex will be nice extra on the day..lol

ohhhh, not sure I'd pay £100 either!! If we hadn't found out I wouldn't have paid.
