OnlyWantsOne I am 13 + 1 today and cant feel my uterus either, not sure whether thats to do with the fact theres about 100 layers of fat on my stomach or because I have an anterior placenta, which can apparantly make things harder to feel...sickness and tiredness easing off now, have managed 3 days in a rown staying up past 9pm lol.

Is it just me being really impatient or is anyone else sick of pregnancy already and just wants the next few months to fly by?

Hope everyone is well.

Persnickety · 28/05/2010 11:50

I'm sure I would recognise what a uterus feels like if I held it in my hand. I never could work out how the midwives could feel my enormous belly and tell me which was the head and which was the bum. (and as I understand it they are sometimes wrong )

Persnickety · 28/05/2010 12:00

Sorry, meant to say I'm sure I wouldn't recognise what a uterus feels like...

DuelingFanjo · 28/05/2010 12:04

I wouldn't either persnickety I was never able to find my cervix either

emmaxmas · 28/05/2010 12:16

Claire all the best for today- thinking of you.

Had booking appointment on Wed- all went really well - midwife was lovely and all very thorough.

I WISH I was losing weight- I have put on almost 2 kgs and I'm only 10 weeks- eek. Think it's because I have done pretty much zero exercise as have been too knackered. Also I have been eating way less healthy than normal- I had had cravings for Maccy D's and I normally hate it! Have gone and purchased a pregnancy exercise DVD so will hopefully have the energy to tackle that next week.

Definitely feeling better- less nausea and less tired although still way more tired than normal.

Kiwi I am a NZ'er too. Have you decided whether you're going to fly back in the early days? I'm hoping to go back for a visit in April. Will be travelling back by myself with baby as DH won't be able to get any more time off work.

Have nice long weekend everyone

Hi Lovely ladies been for my scan (nuchal + dating) took 2 hours!
Twins were moving so much, maybe you can feel your baby thechangespiral!

Did the nuchal test but could only manage to do it on one twin as the other one, who the sonographer referred to as the "naughty" one refused to be moved into the position she needed. I even went for a walk and it was still difficult so I am going back in 7-10 days. Although as they are identical, you would assume 1 would be enough, she said it was 1.3mm which is good I think.

I am definitely feeling much less sick, and having to undo the top button on my trousers, maybe time to join you all bidding on ebay!

crazykat · 28/05/2010 13:34

I've been in maternity clothes for the past two weeks, got fed up of jeans being tight or falling down when I stood up coz I'd undone the button.

I've also put on weight, I was all excited at 9 weeks and I hadn't put on any, I'm now 11+6 and have gained 2kg. Think I'll have to get a pregnancy exercise DVD too.

ClaireDeLoon · 28/05/2010 13:54

No heartbeat.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts over the last few days and really hope you all have a safe and happy pregnancy, good luck with the next 6-7 months.

cher31 · 28/05/2010 18:03

clair thought I would just check on you as I really hoped you would have had better news than me. This is a nightmare and I am here if you want to talk. No words of advice other than to do and say what ever you want no matter how strange it seems. Not saying it gets better but when I woke up this morning I didn't cry straight away. Small steps xx

SlightlyTired · 28/05/2010 18:52
