hi all,

welcome to the newcomers.
mrsfrisby i know what you mean, early on I was eating in the night at least one or twice a night, it seemed to die down for a few weeks, but now i'm less nuseous am so hungry again. I think about food most of the day Still unable to plan meals though as still never quite sure what I fancy until the day. I can't hide my bump anymore, in boob hugging tops to try and detract from my belly, hoping to be able to tell people after scan on weds.

Very pleased to have had a sick free few days, week 12 is definatley the best week so far. However must be something about Monday mornings as back to being sick this morning, will it ever end....exahustion seems to be as bad as ever, anyone else still falling asleep?

Starting to feel more positive this week.
Hope other people's mondays have gone well

Hello Ibizadreams and jjkm
Best of luck Kiki84 with all your appointments. Thinking of you.
lillysa lots of hugs for you. I naively though ah 9 months, piece of piece of p**s
but it's quite a long and wavy road, eh
MrsFrisby. 4am munchies sounds quite funny to me but maybe not ;)
jjkm. Your DH sounds lovely!

Phoned the midwife, she said I did the right thing but not a lot they can do until 20 week scan.
I've had an ok day, felt good and caught up on work.
Back to work now for 3 days
have a good week x

stenogirl · 21/06/2010 22:36

And not forgetting berrycravings. Good luck with your scan on Wednesday. I'm taking afternoon naps on my days off around 3pm zzzzzzzzz

Anyone else think baby's heartbeat sounds so fast?
The next day I was like OMG I have two hearts in my body!! It really hit home.

lilllysa · 22/06/2010 07:42

The only things I can stomach are things that are soooo bad for me!! Diet is so carb heavy at the moment . . I keep thinking maybe its twins but I think I'm going to need to face the fact I'm just a greedy moo thats piled the weight on LOL!

Oh lucky you jjmk a lie in would be DELISH!! I seem to be up early EVERY day! Either just not being able to sleep or DD or with work . . Just seems never to work out

Good luck for anyone having scans soon

MissCKitty · 22/06/2010 09:07

lillysa I'm feeling you on the 'it must be twins thing' all of a sudden I seemed to have piled the weight on and already have what looks suspisciously like a bump although I know it isn't My nausea seems to have died of over the last few days and now i just want to eat!!! Everything!! Gona have to keep it in check tho otherwise am gonna be a total heffa by 40 weeks.
Have a scan today so I'll keep you all posted xx

MinnieMooo · 22/06/2010 10:45

Hi Everyone,
Havent posted for ages, because I have been so paranoid that I am going to loose this one like I did the first. However, had the 12 week scan on Friday and everything is fine. I lay sobbing on the table while the sonographer tried to carry on with his measurements! Had the nuchal and blood results the same day and the risk went from 1 in 266 (due to my extreme old age!)to 1 in 5,000 so feeling much happier. Also the nausea seems to have gone from being 24 hours a day to just now and again.
I am so fat that nothing fits, and due to the paranoia I havent bought any new clothes yet, and consequently I am sitting in work with completely open trousers. My lovely mum is treating me to some new outfits on Thursday. However as we are going to Westfield I think i might just sod the clothes and head straight to Prada for a new handbag!
Hope everyone is well today.

HopingCatPlusThree · 22/06/2010 12:37

Good to hear from you minniemooo and so glad your scan went well. I am like you, in need of new clothes as I can't keep my trousers done up. But I'm waiting until after my scan on Thursday.

Anyone else confused by how their symptoms keep changing? I am feeling less sick now, and the heartburn has gone, but now I'm constipated. Feel like I can't keep up with myself.

funkymonkey I have had to take iron tablets with both my previous pgs. Main problem for me was constipation. Thankfully I only had to take tablets from about week 28 onwards each time. If you find the iron doesn't agree with you, go back and tell Dr/MW about it. I switched to a different brand in my last pg and found I had fewer side effects.

WalkTheDog · 22/06/2010 13:22

hi all

Have come over from the dec thread. Had my scan today and my EDD was a week out, so now moved to 7th Jan. So now 3 more days to the magic 12 weeks!

look forward to catching up with you all.

lilllysa · 22/06/2010 14:42

Glad the scan was good minniemooo . . I've stolen some of my sisters maternity jeans and am wearing them to death already!

Good Luck for today MissCKitty . . Keep us updated

Hi walkthedog Welcome

Chica31 · 22/06/2010 19:19

Hi everyone,

I am feeling really hungry too, though I start eating and feel full quickly. I only want to eat chocolate and ice cream, no healthy food at all. Still feeling sick! Roll on week 12.

mrsfrisby · 22/06/2010 20:37

I'm with you Chica - really hoping for respite soon. My tummy is so swollen due to wind/ constipation/ eating rubbish that I look much further on than I am. It's positively embarrassing at work when people assume I am at least a month more than I am . Mind you, I have been out for a long walk so I am defo feeling better than I was. Good luck with scans all of you

MinnieMooo · 22/06/2010 20:47

My symptoms are changing too hopingcat - right now my feet are in a bowl of cold water to try and get rid of the cankles. I look like the Queen Mum! And apparently if the wind doesn't ease up soon DH is going to file for divorce. I wouldn't care but he is the one bringing the cold water so I can't afford to loose him!
Have taken your advice lilllysa and my friend is bringing her maternity stuff for me to try - an epic tantrum will ensue if it's too small!

berrycravings · 22/06/2010 21:03

So glad I am not the only one who has spilled out of their clothes . I had very embarassing moment at work last week when a male member of staff mentioned to me that I had been dressing very 'strangly' recently . I have been wearing alot of floaty dresses and none of my usual work clothes. Made some excuse about not having done any washing!

Still only eating potatoes...

I know what you mean minnieMoon, DH has left the room a few times muttering about my wind. On the subject of DH have had a major breakthrough...came into the lounge one morning and the pregnancy book was open, turns out DH had been doing a little reading there's hope yet.

Anyone got any light exerice advise? I am very unfit and feeling it, not sure what to take up thats not too tiring? (currently do nothing )

berrycravings · 22/06/2010 21:07

(sorry terrible spelling advice not advise)

lilllysa · 23/06/2010 06:22

Does anywhere in your area do aquanatal classes Berry? or maybe some light walking?

Have my early scan this morning which I've been up stupidly early for but just can't sleep!

I'm not the one with wind but DH is TERRIBLE at the moment . . Walked in the room yesterday and started gagging with the smell . . its the cause of many an argument for us. . hate it SO MUCH!! Grrrr.

Really need to start some kinda healthy eating plan soon. Potatos bread and crisps are more to blame for all my extra weight than any baby lol!

Hope everyone is having a decent time at the mo xx

splodge77 · 23/06/2010 09:53

ha ha, glad to hear other people are having wind too. I am farting like a trooper at the moment but as both me and the boyfriend have nasty colds we can't smell a thing! the cat has been spending a lot of time outdoors though...

BunnyBaby · 23/06/2010 10:39

Hello Ladies, touching in a bit late after MMC at 11+2 which we found out about at 12 week scan.

Naturally was a little nervous going for scan this morning, but all was well we have a strong, healthy, busy baby in there.

To our surprise I am 13+4 not 12+5 so now due on Christmas Day. However DS1 was a whopping 17 days late so I am not expecting anything to happen before the Epiphany on the 6th Jan. Ha ha!

At least I feel less guilty about porking out!

WalkTheDog · 23/06/2010 10:50

Glad your scan went well bunnybaby, I was really scared of an mmc and was so relieved to see a baby there, so can imagine your feelings were 100 times more than mine. I was about a wek out too, just the other way.

Have had a very lazy morning on the computer, but now I must go do something!

littlehuman · 23/06/2010 12:05

slodge77 i am pmsl about your last thread!!!ahahah

exercise wise
i teach aquafit myself(and aquanatal too) it seems to be good for the ladies coming to the class, they all come til their due date or even pass the edd too.
a bit tuffer for me though as i have to jump(ie sore boobs) and shout in the heat on the poolside lol.not so bad yet, will see when tummy get bigger

lilllysa · 23/06/2010 14:59

Glad the scan went well Bunnybaby

Had my early scan this morning . . All went well!! Saw everything they should have heartbeat, sac, pole etc etc! They dated me at 9wks 3days which gives me a EDD of 17/1/11 (only 17days after my DD eeeeek!)

Had to wait ages with a full bladder NIGHTMARE!! and the girl ahead of us got bad news so by the time it was my turn I was almost crying . . Was so happy about it all at the end but felt so upset for the girl . . even though I didnt know her

Anyways . . I think you ladies have passed your wind to me!! Been terrible today

berrycravings · 23/06/2010 17:01

I can recommend getting some airfreshner (for DH smell issues) I've orced him to use it when he vacates bathroom as I can't get in there anymore without gagging (most things set me off to be fair to him tho)

Had my scan today. Was so lovely to see the little one dancing about. Had a moment of worry as have a backwards womb, so they had to do an internal scan, but apparently should work itself out through the pregnacy so nothing to worry about. They have stuck to the dates I was given by the doctor, so my due date is def 1st January (better go update the stats thread).

lillysa glad the early scan went well, you must feel so reassured now.

Thanks for the exercise suggestions, I used to love swimming so I will have a google search for some aqunatal classes. I think there are some in Brighton if not local which is only 30mins away.

Chica31 · 23/06/2010 18:14

Fantastic news everyone with your scans. I am still waiting for the post to come with a date for mine. I am only 8 weeks plus 3 so no panic yet.

I am still shattered, but the children have finished school now, I have just got to stay until Wednesday for meetings and clearing up. Then 2 months off...very excited!
