stac yeah I think they have backdated it and we are paid in arrears so the money they have put in our bank is correct, it looks like they are paying us fortnightly.

LO is kicking my bladder!! OWWWW!

stac14 · 19/04/2010 17:25

yeah everyone is paid fortnightly now. I'm getting big kicks just now too lol X

Hi stac glad to hear it's sorted.

Friday went well. The MW was very understanding and I also will have an elective, they will confirm the date next month. But it will be between the 22nd and 29th of June. So I am relieved. 29 weeks tomorrow. So anywhere between 9 and 10 weeks to go! Not that long is it!

Worried about my friend coming from Canada... She is supposed to come on the 1st of May so just under two weeks. I hope this volcano ashes will stop flying around...

Jojobil · 19/04/2010 19:12

MLIC that explains why a holiday would not be the most relaxing My DD is 5 and much more independent

Chulita · 19/04/2010 19:20

Lol! So I should go and ask for Anusol and eat raisins. I'm just a bit about discussing those types of things.
stac I'm a teeny bit of you knowing the date you'll meet your LO!
mlic I didn't do any housework either, did one load of washing that's still in the machine and went on a long walk to the beach with DD

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/04/2010 19:58

oh stac I missed that bit of your post, it must be a nice feeling knowing the day you'll meet your baby girl its 4 days before my LO is due, although if I dont need a c-sec he will prob be late!

Jojobil · 19/04/2010 20:10

stac14 · 19/04/2010 20:56

fab news jojo my cons said today they couldnt offer us earlier than the 39 week mark so further into july for us. Its so exciting everyones right, you stay put!

Yeah chulita and dh its great knowing that she will be here on 14th. dh my edd is 17th july so if you have section you'l probs be before me lol

Glad you had a good day mlic you have me curious where are you from? Its tea in our house to lol

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/04/2010 20:59

stac I could even be on the same day! Although Im having a scan at 36 weeks so if the placenta looks too low they would prob book me in around 38/39 weeks.

beckyg123 · 19/04/2010 21:17

lol kk i have had some crackers from the rear end too!!!

DH thats really crap about your friend cancelling- it really annoys me when that happens as i never cancel unless i really really have to- i do have one friend who does it regularly although i have to admit i've stopped arranging things with her so much now!

chulita i definately have piles and like kk advised anusol seems to work well. I have found the suppositories most effective but use the cream too. I also use fybogel to help the constipation, thats along with branflakes, fruit and veg!

First day back at work in almost 3 weeks- felt good. Was back at Drs today and confirmed that infection now gone. Urine test was all clear so no more worries there!

Bump has exploded over last few days... i look ready to drop! haha!

Anyone else developing a bad snoring habbit? I think its beginning to annoy DH... he has made a few sarcastic comments about it and looks quite sleep deprived! He actually slept on the couch last night so it must be bad! I just think its payback for all the nights i've had to listen to him

beckyg123 · 19/04/2010 21:26

thats wierd i missed this whole page when i was reading through

stac and jojo glad to hear you are both sorted out for sections- must be a weight off your shoulders knowing a decision has been made! Glad your thyroid is ok too stac another worry less!

DH great news about your benefits coming through- that was fast! although prob didn't feel like it for you!

stac14 · 19/04/2010 21:40

great news bout infection becky you feeling better in yourself?

dh your right we could be getting the op on the same day. X

OP posts:
DesperateHousewife21 · 19/04/2010 21:58

becky yeah I dont see this particular friend all that much as she tends to cancel almost every time. I wasnt surprised she cancelled as Im used to it from her, just annoyed as I didnt have anything else to do today.

Seeing another friend 2mo though who has just had a bunion removed (ouch!) and other surgery to her foot so am going over to feed her dog and help her with lunch etc

Yeah it was just over 2 weeks for the benefits to be sorted, I suppose that is relatively fast and prob would have been sooner if it wasnt for easter so not too bad at all really

kkfairybrains · 19/04/2010 22:31

great news stac and jojo about the dates for the sections! jojo get off our thread lol!
becky yeah im the same woth my bump it seems to have got very big in last week! starting to carry fat fluid on my face too its looking very round! cant say im with you on the snoring as im lucky if i get into a sleep for long enough to start snoring .
trying to figure out today how far im gone and cant remember if im 28 or 29 weeks! so i'l be either 29 or 30 weeks on friday! cant believe how quick the weeks are going!

Jojobil · 20/04/2010 08:06

Is anyone else having horrid pelvic discomfort? I am like and invalid.. Yesterday waking with my DD to school. It's a good 20 minutes down the hill. I felt like a whale. Not looking to the school run in 20 minutes....

stac14 · 20/04/2010 08:48

yeah me too jojo mw advised me to phone the physio again. Maybe try that x

OP posts:
Jojobil · 20/04/2010 09:46

I will DH goes every week after his bicycle accident and he wil ask for me. It's payable I'm afraid, because the NHS physio was apparently rubbish. But it's only 2 months so maybe I should.... I feel like someone hit me with a bat between my legs... Like on the second day.. It's a hollow kind of pain with some numbness. If that makes any sense.

Sorry for the exact description!

stac14 · 20/04/2010 10:05

thats the way i feel too, its bloody sore. I see the nhs physio who is great with me hun, may save a few quid x

I feel enourmous today. Its my birthday 2mo and a couple of months ago I was saying "omg Im going to be just over 27 weeks on my birthday, Ill be huge!"
My words have come back to haunt me lol.

Im going to see my friend today who has had an operation on her foot, shes staying with her mum as she cant walk on it really, shes got crutches. We're going to sit in her garden as its a really lovely day today

Hope everyone else has a nice day today.

memphis83 · 20/04/2010 13:15

hello ladies! i feel like ive been catching up on thread for hours! our internet went down on wednesday and has only just got fixed! its my lifeline at the mo as dh was away last week and again this week!
got midwife in an hour, i will be 29 weeks on friday! was hoping for a lovely weekend with dh as i hadnt seen him but we ended up having a horrific argument! im finding running house alone hard and pregnancy in general im finding difficult, which has put me in a bad mood and quite emotional and i think my attitude has took its toll on us! so glad weekend is over and looking forward to trying again next weekend!!!sorry for rant
