Iggy is correct, but at least we all know what stage everyone is at especially for the relativey new. Maybe we can scrap the list for the next fred?

I don't like constantly updated lists but agree that it would be nice to have one on the OP of the next thread - just as a marker of who's who for newbies etc. But unfortunately to create it we have to constantly update till everyone is on it, which is a pain.

My vote goes for create it, shove it in the OP, then update it next time we start a new Fred, again placing it in the OP.

Maybe we need a more comedic style to our list roll of honour. I did play it safe and take template from other threads. a bit boring perhaps...

More about the pants please cokie. Do they go up to your underwire? Whilst I can now tolerate a small amount of pressure on my bump I still love my UP TO MY NIPS pants. They're also brilliant for when jeans go down and top goes up...

ski I don't think calling my hubbie a YOB is at all unflattering.

I would also like to be reminded of what the acronyms for our OHs stand for please.

YOB - yummy older bloke (given that most of the original BESHs seemed to be more into the younger man, and my gorgeous husband's nearly 10 years older than me).

They are big pants I confess, although not quite up to the nips and thankfully the nips are not quite down to the gusset either . They also have the back in them as ones that nestle in the arse crack are just frankly not comfortable. Does that satisfy your need for pant info??

While on the subject of pants, every list (and I read a lot of lists) tells you to have disposable pants for post birth. My tip is to get yourself along to Primark or similar where they sell 6 packs of big pants for about a quid. Far more dignified than pants of the disposable variety and cheap enough to sling once finished with.

I will think of suitable unflattering name...

I have replaced all my old pants with nice, comfy ones. I am keeping the old ones, all stretched and worn-in, for post-partum. Then they can go in the bin.

I recently chucked out all my droid pants, you know the ones you wear when the droid beeps (or is that just me?). Figured I could relegate some nicer ones to droid pants when the bleedin' thing returns probably sometime in 2011!

Primark are well known for their use of children to make their crappy stuff (caught out with it a while back they then ditched the stock which was the most unbelievably stupid thing to do - Gap did the same - what a bloody waste), using the cheapest, most un-eco fabrics designed for "disposable fashion". WhoTF designed "disposable fashion" anyway. Some ET CEO no doubt .

So by buying not-really-disposable stuff from them you're supporting child labour, then ditching stuff which is mostly not degradable (mixed fibres), so it's bad for the 'viro, bad for the kids and costs more to boot.

Surely saving the droid ones would have been a better idea, and failing that, I strongly recommend the paper sposie ones which are surprisingly comfy, and they're biodegradable. You could even take the elastic out and compost them, then pop the compost on top of the tree you plant over the placenta.

Or maybe that's just me .

Re lists: I have no objection at the beginning of a thread, and like the funny ones, and it helps to mentally track who is where with what. I would also like to add in what we already have so I can remember who are the newbies and who already has little 'uns.
