Come in, come in to the new haven for diffed BESHies. I think a group effort is needed here (and I'm being a lazy preggo), so please add to the deli whatever you crave/love/can stomach.

Nominations are also open for sexy fathers we can hijack to serve our mouldy cheese and cured ham

And the best mocktail recipe wins...well, bugger all to be honest

BUMSEX

givecarrotsachance · 11/02/2010 12:16

Can we do colourwin as well as gluwein?

iggs cool, but I know what you mean. Mind you, it's all computers nowadays. Not sure that makes it any better . Well if you've any idea how to get over a mushroom phobia .

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 12:17

pone am liking idea of pony sleigh and also of cross country ski... sounds fun... I don't like the ski lifts or the ski-ing down big hills bit (so most of it)... maybe xc skiing might be good?

CUNextTuesday · 11/02/2010 12:25

are you liking the idea of BUMSEX iggs

Cosmosis · 11/02/2010 12:27

CUNTy your views on bumsex are repulsive.

CUNextTuesday · 11/02/2010 12:30

Good! hahahahahahaha (-_-)

Got anomaly scan booked for next Wednesday

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 12:51

I iz just liking the word cunty - just the word

Anomaly scan does sounds scary dunnit... Mine is booked for 16th March.

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 12:54

I haz put my scan pic on my profile - mainly cos no other fucker wants to see it - so I may as well bore you lot.

CUNextTuesday · 11/02/2010 13:15

awwww - nice well developed head.

SkaterGrrrrl · 11/02/2010 13:49

Nice piglet, iggy! Pony you make ski-ing seem damn attractive to this non-sporty book worm!

DH and I had a chat about baby names last night and we both like all the same boys names which is a relief.

Girls names a bit more controversial. I reckon I can always play the "I'm pushing it out of my vagina, I name it" card.

Cosmosis · 11/02/2010 13:49

One thing I keep meaning to mention, when I went to see HR to tell them, they told me that you can get paid for the holidays you accrue while you are off, rather than adding them on to the end of your mat leave. I'll probably have about 10 days that I won't use this year, so that's a fair whack of cash - spesh as I only get smp.

CurlyCasper · 11/02/2010 13:53

loving the piglet iggy (nice name skates)!

Another thing ref SMP etc. A colleague who's about to go off on mat leave said apparently your employer can't take childcare vouchers out of SMP, but still has to pay for them. So essentially you can get them for free rather than as a salary sacrifice, in the weeks when you get only SMP.

Now I'm not sure if you can claim them while not using childcare (because you are still off), but I will look into it. Maybe more useful for colleague cause she already has a little 'un.

All that talk of pizza - I blagged free slices today at a work event. Nom Nom.

ski please feel better soon and stop shitting puppies

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 13:55

cossie I was told that too - so you can get the holiday pay during the bit of your mat leave when you not getting SMP - is good I fink

fanks grrrrl and cunts - I fink it looks like is smiling

Cosmosis · 11/02/2010 14:04

yars that is plan iggs and the 10 keep in touch days as well, you can get paid for them even if you just come in for coffee and catch up

(possibly helps that hr managers wife is having baby in may!)

CUNextTuesday · 11/02/2010 14:04

Why on earth wouldn't it be iggs?

Ponymum · 11/02/2010 14:13

Yes skater you should try it. It's like going for a lovely quiet walk in the snow but with really long glidy shoes on. And you can imagine that you look chic, graceful and coordinated even if you don't, because it just feels like you do.

And anyway, how can you say you're non-sporty if you are doing grungy skateboard stuff down at the local half pipe every day? (as imagined in my head)

Someone please open a new deli, we are running out of room.

skihorse · 11/02/2010 14:37

cunty Austria would be nice but it can be soooooooo expensive that we were thinking of Lake Louise which has an AMAZING daycare facility - ~$70 a day and they'll take them from 18 days old.

Best of luck with the anomoly scan next week - I mean with you and hom you pretty much know the outcome right?

I can haz no need for childcare vouchers because jailbait is doing it all in return for scraps of post-partum sex.

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 14:48

cos sorry -I had short break between the two

cunty Well I guess it might be - but it was also asleep?

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 14:49

I went skiing in austria - think it was called zell am zee. I was 15 and I loved it. That is the one time I enjoyed going..

CUNextTuesday · 11/02/2010 15:39

ski all v well but am not taking a 5 month old on a 9 hour journey to Lake Louise, not no how not never, and also Hom can only get a week in Jan cos of work and that innit which basically rules out N America, alas

Cosmosis · 12/02/2010 09:08

So after much discussion last night we named our baybee. Barrie if it's a boy and Pauline if it's a girl. Can't wait for peoples reactions

HawaiianCuntShine · 12/02/2010 09:16

Did someone say Gluhwein? I'm in. Oh and I ski too!

If you don't mind, I think I'll hide in here for a while, things are getting a little manic out there.

HawaiianCuntShine · 12/02/2010 09:21

Cos I like Pauline a lot, never seen Barrie spelled that way but overall - you can do no wrong! Of course, I get here just as fred is full.

skihorse · 12/02/2010 09:35

Cossie Niiice! I have an "auntie" Pauline on my fb. She looks a bit... well "80s" is possibly the nicest way to describe it. Can't argue with Barrie (Barry) though - is the ie spelling to convey that you and TGO won't bow down to middle-class rules and that you're free spirits?

Hawaiian You can meet me in Alberta - or maybe we can go to Jackson Hole?

skihorse · 12/02/2010 09:38

I haz made new fred for you:
