Come in, come in to the new haven for diffed BESHies. I think a group effort is needed here (and I'm being a lazy preggo), so please add to the deli whatever you crave/love/can stomach.

Nominations are also open for sexy fathers we can hijack to serve our mouldy cheese and cured ham

And the best mocktail recipe wins...well, bugger all to be honest

yay for scanz pone.

I know I've not been around much lately, so sorry for that. am mental busy at work, i'm stil at work now!

so I do still loves you all, just no times.

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 09:17

Morning PESHes and bumps

How are well all today? I ate too much pizza last night and feel a little bigger than I should

Have serious puppy envy after discovering one at work. (black lab bitch). I might have to find more reasons to visit her owner's office...stricly work-related of course!

Curly you can take your doggies to work with you? Have you got your appointment yet with the physio/SPD-specialist person?

pony I'm glad all is well.

iggy I don't understand your stance on butter, I really don't. You do cheese don't you? Like a normal person I mean?

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 10:16

ski not exactly - just people in certain positions (defo not me). You know where I work, so that should make sense. (though my mutt has been to visit me and sat in office if I'm doing overtime at the weekend. She gets very fidgity when people are moving around in the corridor outside!)

Nah, no appointment yet. I'm to ring MW if I don't hear after a week. Clinics are on Monday though, so maybe I'll hear then.

iggy so you never really needed a Butterdish then?

Curly I'm working from home hence I've got them both in my office (sofa) today! I'd love a job where I could take the bitches to work. Jailbait's just literally walked through the door with 2 snowy dogs.

I hope your appointment comes through very soon, how is it doing now? Has it abated at all or are you controlling it with painkillers?

I'm back on my ms pills again - think it's going to be a rough day - another reason to be thankful for being home today.

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 11:00

oh shit, sorry the ms is back ski. Hope you come out the other side of it soon. Still sicky burpy here, if that helps (prob not). jealous you are at home - but I'd get sod all done if i was, with SFF and mutley lounging around and making a racket.

Hips thing is wierd. I was feeling ok when spoke to MW. But she said even when I feel good I must follow the advice about staying symmetrical (so hard when you are used to crossing your legs!), keeping knees togther (should have said that before I got pregnant) etc so I don't make it worse. I'm not in agony and haven't been for a few days. But sitting is very uncomfortable, thanks to pain down the bum bones. I had brought in a cushion as a lumbar support, but now it's under my hurty bum

Woke up with little movement in my left elbow today, so back to thinking it's prob the arthritis - though that has never made my backside hurt!

Iphone conception woman is a muppet. The bint clearly hadn't done any research before TTC. Hope the press attention works against them. Twats.

We're watching the skiing from St. Moritz. Rah for GB - our Chemmy is currently number 10 which tbf is fucking awesome for us. Obviously I'm working too...

I know what you mean about crossing legs type stuff. I had my chakras re-aligned a few years back and was told I needed to keep both feet on the ground (literally) to keep centered... it was an eye-opener as to how lopsided I was - and quite difficult to always be straight.

The ms is just bollocks - but we're going to have a baybeeee... which I've realised I'm still in denial about because even though I go to the midwife and she lets me hear the heartbeat and I grin and say "wow", it's still not very real.

haha about your bum pain... did you take butter in to the bedroom last night?

CUNextTuesday · 29/01/2010 12:40

@ butter - do you leave it a solid lump ski? Or do you spread it like a layer of tarmacadam?

iggypiggy · 29/01/2010 12:44

ski I LOVE cheese... although wouldn't want to eat a massive piece of brie without some chutney on it... but all hard cheese and blue cheese etc.. I hate goats cheese tho...

curly I got a butter dish from my secret santa It is used

I do make lots of cakes tho..

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 12:44

I find the butter/bedroom remark repulsive.

WARNING!! CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC AHEAD!!

(Disclaimer: my views are repulsive)

My child will have the MMR jab. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind.

CUNextTuesday · 29/01/2010 12:46

iggy goats cheese is the nectar of the gods!! Your views are repulsive.

iggypiggy · 29/01/2010 12:46

cunty mine too... i am all for vaccinations. Although not really the flu jab... of any kind.. I am a sheep that follows my fathers advice on these matters

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 12:47

Mine too cunty. And I think I will shortly be having the SF jab.

iggy despite the butter and white choc revelations, we finally find something we agree on - goats' cheese

Am loving this thread Gave me an opportunity to discuss the issue, and put my foot down, with SFF at an early opportunity. Actually think the biggest problem will be my BIL's girlf. Loverly as she is, she's way too keen to be involved...

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 29/01/2010 12:57

cassie I has been para about that - but had lovely chat with my MIL and she is less menkul about things than I fort.. bless her.

Am feeling better about it - but I has been lying awake in bed imagining how to deal with the 50 visitors etc.

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 13:06

Glad to hear it igster. I am a bit worried about what my mum will do to my house if she is left there (possibly with MIL). She's an obsessive cleaner and neat freak. But then, I would be happy for her to come and hold my hand as I give birth. I also have the issue of when to phone her - is a long journey down to us. Must find out whether she plans to drop everything and run (which is the impression I got) or is happy to show up couple of days later. They're the only people I expect, seeing as we hav no fwends

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 29/01/2010 14:21

I have made my feelings clear on my house... there is a danger the same will happen to mine!

iggypiggy · 29/01/2010 14:22

I'll come visit you

skihorse · 29/01/2010 14:29

iggy There is no butter betwixt my buttocks - you can look if you like.

CurlyCasper · 29/01/2010 14:58

ski "this little boy" might have girl bits already, you know...

iggy Sure, come see us. You'll have that baby whipped out, you stitched and the first pics sold to Hello in no time. Anyway, the nanny can do most of the work

We might well be up for a tour of the country in early Sept (must be back bfeore the 16th). Leeds peshtival sounds good.

Ok. Have crossed legs, and am having wierd flutterings in my right hand wombular region. Given that HB is left of centre, could this be baby feet? (The two are about 10 cm apart) or am I just imagining it? Feels like a baby bird gently battering its wings against me. eek!

BTW heartbeat was like someone hammering on an echoey building site last night. Amazing.

I"'m very curious to know how vag and skater are getting on - because they should be hitting extreme fatigue/nausea right about... 3....2....1.... NOW! - just as we're exiting the other side."

Christ yes. I am sleep-typing.

And the paradox is you cant talk about your tiredness without giving yourself away. All my mates keep asking me out as they dont know yet and all I want to do is go home and go to bed at 8.

SkaterGrrrrl · 29/01/2010 16:15

Oh and well done on the scan, Pone.

And I am definitely giving my sprog the MMR. The "link" with autism has been thoroughly discredited.

And yes, BnSoir Ann is smug.

When are you due VAG?
