Nemo1977 · 07/07/2005 11:37

ninah saw ur post on other thread hugs to u hun the mobiles r down have u sent a text?

MINNIE1 · 07/07/2005 11:40

ninah,
o ninah HUGS hun. Just getting report on the news here now.

ninah · 07/07/2005 11:44

I don't even have a mob
his is on voicemail, I left a message but if the networks down he can't get me
I'm pretty sure he's not where the bombs are but I need to speak to him
I am sure if I was not preg I would not be reacting so badly. There's a girl in the office treating it like a soap opera think I will deck her soon

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 07/07/2005 11:46

o ninah hun its more than natural to wanna talk to him..my dh ahs taken ds swimming and i just want him to come home

sweetheart · 07/07/2005 11:46

ninah - I'm sure he's fine hun - just keep thinking positive vibes.

Phone communications will be terrible so don't panic!!

Just soooo glad we went to London yesterday - the thought of me and dh being caught in it and dd being at home is so terrible!!!!

MINNIE1 · 07/07/2005 11:49

If the lines are down it might be a while b4 he can get you.. Sending good positive vibes to you hun, try relax and stay away from the drama queen (You could end up decking her)...

ninah · 07/07/2005 11:50

yeah I thought of that too, about you yesterday sh!
I know I'm panicking for no reason. We spoke this morning 7-sh and had a nice chat which ended up in the usual disagreement about childcare/money, it all seems so crappy now, I don't care if I have to work 40hour week as long as he is safe
You see, I AM overreacting!

OP posts:
ninah · 07/07/2005 11:51

yes OK minnie
It's NOT you she refers to btw our own dear dq! in case you read this quickly

OP posts:
MINNIE1 · 07/07/2005 11:53

ninah,
Your doing what is natural to you, I would be in the same way.. Just think when he does you'll give out to him for not getting in contact sooner, i know i would.

dramaqueen72 · 07/07/2005 12:08

oh ninah, I am sorry youre having to worry. hope you hear from him soon. and minnies right btw, stay away from all dramaqueens except me!!

george32 · 07/07/2005 13:01

Ninah, hope you have managed to get hold of your DP. I know how frustrating it is with the phones being down.

All high drama here. We have been told to stay in the office (I'm on New Oxford Street) until they tell us further. No idea how we will get home (I have to get out to High Wycombe!!)
Thanks for thinking of me.

Any news from GoldenOldie?

Nemo1977 · 07/07/2005 13:02

((((((((((((((george))))))))))) i am glad ur ok jus thope u manage to get home

nothing from goldenoldie yet

george32 · 07/07/2005 13:09

Phew, my DP has just sent me a note. He works in Soho Square & him & his boss are getting a car at 4.00pm so I have a lift out of town.

I don't know what everyone is going to do it's going to be chaos later on.

No way am I getting back on the tube tomorrow. I am so going to work from home for a bit until it is safer.

ninah · 07/07/2005 13:20

glad you are safe george
still no word from dp tho I've been in touch with his sis who's also in London she's fine
the stupid thing is I can't remember the company he was s'posed to do to this am, he said he was going to Chiswick which is what he says when he goes there, but he works with a few cos self employed, most of them he calls by the name only this one he just refers to as Chiswick and I can't blooming think of the name, also he moves around during the day so I really need to hear from him
I'm not going to ring the mob any more as it just makes me sick every time
We have a Spanish visitor here who is stranded and I'm finding accomodation and looking after her which is taking my mind off but I feel about 95

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 07/07/2005 13:28

sorry no news yet for you ninah hope he manages to get hold of you soon.
george, I'm glad youre safe but how very scary to be anywhere near it. glad you can get home and yes, stay there!!
golden hope youre oaky and just far to busy to get online.

scully · 07/07/2005 13:29

I'm near St Paul's and we were also told to stay in the office. I popped out just before and lots of people walking around but not much traffic. Anyone know if Waterloo is open or not? Hearing mixed reports about mainline stations. Very scarey watching it on Sky news knowing it wasn't that far away.

ninah · 07/07/2005 13:33

YEY! he's OK
'well you knew I was in the car' hmmmph!
