Due March 06 - anyone else yet?

Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Doctors make me so angy, they told me to phone at 9.30 so they can sort me out with a scan for this morning and they wont even let me speek to the doctor, they said can you phone after surgery, i said no i cant, he told me to phone at 9.30 and the pregnancy clinic shuts at 12, i need a scan today. I am now waiting for him to phone but was told he was very busy. I might have to go another day not knowing if my baby is still alive, i am so angry and upset with the way i have been treated, i just need to know if my baby. What should i do? the clinic told me i had to go through my gp, should i phone the clinic?

marne - I would say go straight to the EPU directly/a&E and tell them exactly how concerned etc u are then see if they'll send u straight for a scan, this is shockinly bad how they're treatin u. good luck thou fingerss crossed.

Sorry yes phone the clinic first and tell them how ignorant the doctors are being and that you are worried. They should tell you to come straight in hopefully.

Just phoned clinic, they cant get me in till tomorow as they have stoped scaning today. Doctor phoned me back and turns out he was trying to get me a scan at the wrong hospital even though he has seen my notes and is probobly sat infront of a computer that says what hospital i have been going to on it. H e said theres no point in rushing to have a scan as i only stoped bleeding a day ago and it wont show as much. Yestaday he told me they could scan when the bleeding had stoped. I am so confused, whats going on? Is he just trying to cover up his mistake?

They've stopped scanning today already?

Well at least you have a definite scan time now...get on the sofa and get some DVD's and magazines out, if you can.....

Good news that you've got a definate time. But at the docs - and at the fact they've stopped scanning and expect you to wait.

marne - know it's gonna be hard but as hte rest of the girls say - get an old movie a duvet a box of choccys and lie out on the sofa for the day and relax if u can.

I haven't - can't face it! Also there's that whole fear element of something being dislodged - crazy I know! But doc said to me with the bleeding to only have protected sex as semen can induce miscarriage. So I've kept well away!!

Am planning a good anniversary weekend next weekend though!!

As for the current topic - can't face it!! Look what happened last time we did it!! lol

if bleeding best to avoid i guess. But in a straight forward pregnancy it cant harm! If there is something wrong then its wrong.

tbh yes we haven't well only 3 times in 12 weeks (obviusly to get PG!) not since I found out was PG as basically with two prev m/c's I didn't want to do anything that might put beanie at risk - thankfully DH has been v agreeable. still thou can't wait till fri when we reach 12 weeks, and hopefully will be out of the woods.
