cassie please to not worry too much - call nearest EPU for advice tho I fink.

Can be totally normal tho, i would prob only worry if i had major cramps with it.

CurlyCasper · 24/11/2009 14:45

been cramping a lot for full three weeks and lower back ache/foo foo pains today. not sure what matters. Waiting for GP callback. all v awkward while at work.

skihorse · 24/11/2009 14:48

Can you find your nearest EPU and get ready to do a cunty? March in, drop your pants and demand that they "scan this, bitch!"?

I hope the doc phones back very quickly.

iggypiggy · 24/11/2009 14:52

Those fings are fine. Low back ache and cramps - is common.

Iz hard to say - but speak to doc - will hopefully help.

For info - I did not have what you describe before mc. Not sure how it happened for ski but mine was pretty full on pretty fast.. not small pinkness.

CurlyCasper · 24/11/2009 14:54

spoke to nurse. she's got me in to see doctor at 5.30pm. says to do nothing strenuous in meantime. just chillax. so will try....

givecarrotsachance · 24/11/2009 15:24

Ok cassie will be waiting for update.

Hope all is properly well. xxx

doc felt my belly, said 'twas prob implantation, and if i get actual red blood to call surgery and they'll refer me straight to EPU for scan. Scan would not show anything right now, she says And she added the obvious: if preg is viable, it's viable. If it's not, I will miscarry. nothing they can do to stop it. ho hum. pants back in the clear now anyway. Guess that was the first of many worry moments to come...

skihorse · 24/11/2009 18:47

Curly I'm so glad to hear it wasn't all gloom & doom. Phew - panic over!

Did you cry and say "but it's too biiiiig to get out through my foofoo" like what I done?

CurlyCasper · 24/11/2009 19:50

was more like fwightened wittle wabbit in da headlights. "me in first pregnancy, me no nothing, you tell me what right nice doctor lady puhhlllllleeeeaaasss?" big eyes, blink blink.

givecarrotsachance · 24/11/2009 22:00

casp V pleased to hear pants are now clear. Just logged on to get your news so can go to bed happy .

Still laughing at "scan this, bitch" comment . I SO want to do that.

Just had totally crappy meeting of residents' committee. Why are people such selfish fucking idiots?

Done a great load of work for the committee meeting only to have it shot down in flames by several selfish fucking selfish bitches who are selfish. Quite used to tough meetings/holding my own etc but when someone then turned to me and thanked me for my hard work I actually started to cry. Fortunately in quiet darkish corner of t'pub so managed to sort of hide it but what a stupid caaah. What's wrong with me? Must be bloody hormones. I don't DO hormones. .

carrots Aaaah... we just got our first complaint from our neighbours - cooking with garlic. [rollseyes]

I cried last night and this morning and I expect there will be more crying later. Nausea is really getting me down and my balance has gone... I always promised myself I wouldn't be one of those women who complained...

givecarrotsachance · 25/11/2009 09:34

ski Isn't that the neighbour with the drum kit? Content yourself with the thought that in 7 months or so you will be keeping them awake day and night with something a little more intrusive than "garlic". FFS.

Cry - better in than out and you're not complaining, you're spreading your feelings.

OP posts:
givecarrotsachance · 25/11/2009 09:35

Obviously what I meant was "better out than in".

I'll get me coat.

haha actually it's a little old lady who nearly made jailbait leave the country when she caught him and asked him to help her put her shoes on! He's funny about feet at the best of times...

I just feel weak and pathetic - you know, like one of those sickly women who were sent to sanitoriums in Switzerland - although right now that's livin' the dream!

iggypiggy · 25/11/2009 10:01

casper yay for the good news

i guess being lacrymose is all a good sign - take a bitchslap to cheer you up ski

skihorse · 25/11/2009 11:27

ha iggy! Just you wait. Sooner or later you'll be hit with the nausea of Doom [tm]! You'll not be laughing then as you try and locate a blusher and apply it Aunt Sally style in an attempt not to look ashen.

skihorse · 25/11/2009 11:27
givecarrotsachance · 25/11/2009 11:30

Oh ewww. Cheers for that ski

Although I don't know why ewww. I eat dog hairs all the time. Chose dog. Friend, "Good choice, he's the kind of dog that won't shed much". Universe, "Tee hee".

OP posts:
skihorse · 25/11/2009 11:38

Dog hair is our household is a major food group. It's a never-ending mystery n'est-ce pas how the little fuckers manage to get it INSIDE an apple, or a can of coke you open at work for example. I rode Ginger through an orchard one day, plucked an apple from a tree, dog hair INSIDE the apple 15 miles from home. A canine miracle indeed!

givecarrotsachance · 25/11/2009 12:17

Oh yes! Exactly how it is here. I remember picking the damned things off my wedding dress!

My dog's a short haired thing yet I swear I could knit another dog from the hair I brush off him.

OP posts:
skihorse · 25/11/2009 12:22

Well the Jackapoo is pretty good - I think it's poodles that don't malt. But big dog? Holy cow, the hoover is always full with dog hair. Over the course of her lifetime I could've made a dog army from left over bits.

skihorse · 25/11/2009 12:22

Btw, am very much lol at dog hair on the wedding dress!

CurlyCasper · 25/11/2009 12:37

Wedding dress no problem at our end - Judy is primarily white.

She has not stopped casting since the day we got her. Serious wedges of fur behind doors/under the table - and they appear very quickly after sweeping and hoovering. I can't beleive a dog with such fine hair can make such a mess!

And i've got a nice new full length black winter coat... or should that be a speckled coat

givecarrotsachance · 25/11/2009 13:19

Oh yes, the winter coat thing. Just bought a new one myself. Was lovely and black in the shop. Took it out and found a dog hair in the friggin' bag .

cassie I know I said it last night, but again, really glad you're ok

ski mum said to me that a lot of her IVF patients felt the same as you. They'd focused for so long solely on the BFP that they often didn't cope so well with life afterwards. Often they'd been TTC for years and it had just become their life. Apparently there's a high percentage of divorce after the BFP - how terribly ironic

I don't know what to say other than it really does fit and it's really ok. You don't even feel it. I mean, you feel the contractions but not the fitting, as it were! And as for the baby fitting inside you, well traditionally that's where the bump comes in .

Obviously this is stupid for me to say this as your fears are not logical, but hormonal/emotional so logic isn't going to make you feel better. Sorry.

IS ANYONE OUT THERE HAPPY???

(I AM [GRIN])

Despite totally and utterly crap morning at work

Where IS cunty??

Ski I second what Carrots said about the birth bit. I actually enjoyed being in labour and the pushing bit was the easiest part - I couldn't feel the head coming out at all. Although I did do quite a lot of, ahem, perineal massage beforehand! I know I was lucky in having a VERY speedy and easy labour and that is not everyone's experience but honestly I didn't think it was that bad at all.
