Hi Girls - so here we all are and so far so good (fingers and toes crossed and wheelbarrow loads of baby dust abounding)

Thought I would start a new thread (new name too) as babies being found out about now will just about be into March so we are no longer the absolute newbies which feels good!

So maybe we should collate all our due dates(any one had a dates scan yet??)

Keep it up!

angedemarche do you mean your LMP ws 24 May? (not march)?

Lulu68 · 27/06/2005 19:37

Hello Everyone

I thought I would finally come out of lurking and say Hi. I am due 3 Feb but going by last two labours will probably be at least 1 week late. Stats:
Me: 37
DH: 40
dd1 4
dd2 2
ds1 1

which means I'm going to have 4 under 5 - help!

am now suffering from ms all day, and tired as well, not easy with 3 little ones already.

Nice to meet you all and hope to get to know you all over the next 7 months or so.

Lulu

RachelRog · 27/06/2005 19:45

Had a really bad day!! Started by dry heaving as soon as I awoke.....then had porridge which came back up again 5 minutes later!!!

Felt like a pile of poop all day and now everyone at work knows I am p/g!!

Seem to need to eat little and often but fed up already! I knew I would get it bad as was ill with ds but finding it really hard to carry on as normal! Going to have an early night tonight after I have caught up with Coronation Street and Eastenders...SADDO!

Teuch and Tabs - really happy your scans were great experiences...hoping my will be too!!

spacecadet · 27/06/2005 19:59

god, i could sleep for britain..dh is off work today and rest of this week and wanted to go out, i just didnt have the energy, finally went for a long walk this evening, nice for the kids but felt sooo exhausted and after awhile had to ask dh if i could come home!, i find if i dont eat little and often i feel really nauseaus, but the smell of most things makes me heave
rachelrog, you have my sympathies, ive had to be hospitilised with 3 of my pregs because of sickness. sorry for the moan.

Bubu · 27/06/2005 20:17

Can someone please help me - you all seem to know what you're talking about and I'm a bit confused. The date of my last period was 9th May and the calanders say my due date is 13th Feb and I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow but that doesn't sound right when I read some of your threads! Congratulations to you all!!!

Tabs · 27/06/2005 20:39

Hi Bubu - I'd make you due 11th Feb (assuming 28 day cycle) and 7+1 today (which puts you in week 8, but not actually 8 weeks yet).

TicTac · 27/06/2005 20:49

Is there anyone on tonight with a set of wise ears on them? I have had a bleed with a small clot (sorry for the detail. I would be due my period today (for the 2nd time in preg). I have not had any pain. Have just got back from emergency doctor who has signed me up for a scan tomorrow... I am petrified that this is the short road to me loosing my baby...help!

angedemarche · 27/06/2005 20:54

TicTac, sorry I really am no use, just here with

Maybe you should post on pregnancy as well, just incase someone there might know something. I'm sure that it is nothing to worry about. Try and have a wee sleep tonight. XxX

Popmum: well spotted, yes I meant 25th May!

Hope the rest of you are doing ok.

Much love XxX

Tabs · 27/06/2005 21:01

Oh Tic Tac - not sure if I qualify as wise, but I'll try and offer some encouragement.

I think it's only natural to assume the worst in these circumstances, particularly when we use forums like this which make us realise just how common miscarriage is.

However, there are so many other reasons why people bleed during pregnancy, and these seem to be talked about much less. Some examples off the top of my head are that you could have a cyst which has burst, it could be a breakthrough bleed (as it's when your period was due), it could be a bleed from implantation that has now come away, or a cervical erosion.

Remember that Mama5 has had some bleeding already, but her scan has shown now that all is well.

Try to rest as best as you can, and know that you will be in my thoughts when you go for your scan tomorrow.

TicTac · 27/06/2005 21:04

Thanks ladies. I am going to step off for now as a bit on the emotional side. Thanks again and will update tomorrow....either way xxx

angedemarche · 27/06/2005 21:06

for you TicTac, I think what Tab has said is really sensible. Please think postively.
XxX

spacecadet · 27/06/2005 21:08

tictac, try not to panic, its not unusual to have bleeding at the time your period would ne due, or it could be a cervical erosion.what is the blood like?

Tabs · 27/06/2005 21:15

OK ladies - stats time. If you want any of your ??? filled in then just stick the info up and I'll add it to the spreadsheet I've just knocked together ready for the next update.

I've tried to put it roughly in due date order so that you can all see who's closest to you.

{{{{Big Hugs}}}} to tictac, really hope all is well for you, if its any consolation, the mum of one of dd's friends had bleeding for the 1st three months, she didn't figure out she was pregnant, until a small bump appeared and her periods stopped

Hi to Lulu and Bubu, have you tried ginger bics, they work for me in the mornings if I'm feeling queezy.
Hope all are well and having a nice day, not feeling to sicky...I have a docs appointment re new bump on Thurs, silly really, as all they'll say is make a booking in appointment, waste of healthservice time if you ask me.....
