Hi Girls - so here we all are and so far so good (fingers and toes crossed and wheelbarrow loads of baby dust abounding)

Thought I would start a new thread (new name too) as babies being found out about now will just about be into March so we are no longer the absolute newbies which feels good!

So maybe we should collate all our due dates(any one had a dates scan yet??)

Keep it up!

TicTac - Hope you're feeling better and more re-assured. I can't imagine how scary it is. Thinking of you.

Kando and Yeahbut - Wow! Aberdonians eh?! Well I originally lived in Bucksburn and went to Bucksburn Primary School. When I moved back to Aberdeen I lived in Sunnyside and also on Charlotte Street off George Street. All my family still there. Parents live in Maryculter! Camr to Bedford to work and met my Dh, got married and am now expecting our first child and will probably stay here for a while anyway. Sorry, a bit of life story there!!

Twiga - I don't know what I'd do without you, you're my guardian angel, bestest friend and bestest honourary sister in the world. So blessed you're there for me!

TicTac · 01/07/2005 17:29

I have been right off B'ding since tictac came! The hospital are confident that there is nothing wrong and I am taking comfort from that. I guess until I have some pain or a significant bleed then I will assume all is well. Next scan is 1st August anyway so not too long to wait. If anything else happens I will be back on the phone to the hospital. What will be will be. If tictac wants to vacate this beautiful 1 bed home I have made for him in my uterous...I can't stop her.

I think I will stay off line tonight though...
X

TicTac - Rest tonight and let us know how you are tomorrow. Take care. Thinking of you.

Mamatoto · 01/07/2005 18:09

Tic Tac -i too had ableed yesterday and was scanned today. They found a small area near the pregnancy where the bleed was coming from. MW said do not worry 'I estimate this happens in 50% of pregnancies' ' Just go away and live as normal' I am a pessimist so find this hard..but the baby had grown in the week since the last bleed now measured even further on than expected . I have bled on and off for days and I have had many pregnancies before and never this....each pregnancy is different and even my midwife said this happened to her. If you want to talk - I am going through it with you we can cross our fingers for each other!

RachelRog · 01/07/2005 19:17

Hello all

Nothing new to report from me other than feeling like s**t all the time....put jeans on tonight and I think my stomach has grown some!! Feels really hard....feels bigger than last time when I got to 12 weeks but embryo had stopped at 6 weeks so hopefully all is well and baby is growing!

I have been suffering from wind....my books say this is because our digestive systems have really slowed down and food moves through alot slower causing all those yummy gases to build and build! I am a windy person at the best of times so dh getting sick of me!

Got in from work tonight (snuck away an hour early as manager was off and felt crappy all day) and went to lay down on the bed. Dh put all shopping away that Tesco man had just delivered and then cooked tea...bless!! Told him I have a massive ironing pile but it has fallen on very DEAF ears!

spacecadet · 01/07/2005 20:24

my little girl is 14 today!!
hope everyone is well today.

Flamesparrow · 01/07/2005 20:34

Hello Peeps

Huge hugs Tictac - Take it as easy as you can this weekend. I feel sure it will all be fine, but rest can never hurt

I'm tired, but luckily not too much in the way of sickness yet. I had HG for most of my pregnancy with DD, and am terrified of it again.

My tummy and back are aching lots... everyone is assuring me that its normal and just everything softening, but its still bloody scary!!!

Frizbe · 01/07/2005 20:53

at fariydust, sorry mate, will cat you, just assumed you'd have spotted it before now, as you usually check in on Hula n I on the ttc thread!

Mamatoto · 02/07/2005 09:30

Tic Tac - hope you are good this morning! x

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2005 10:59

Anyone else feel like their shape is changing already even though it seems way too early?? My tummy feels very different.

Mamatoto · 02/07/2005 11:07

Well girls ...have you seen the March '06 thread!! We are not the newbies anymore which has to be good! I have just booked my nuchal which is a step in the right direction. Any one else having one?

TicTac · 02/07/2005 11:07

Morning ladies,
Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning. I feel ok, no more bleed or pink on wipe (TMI!) so I think it was another blip in the system. Thanks again for your messages, my husband asks me "how are your ladies"...he has read a couple of messages and thinks you are all great...me too!

Flamesparrow...I didn't have much of a waistline anyway but what I did have is going! I am a typical hourglass and only 5'2" so I am noticing the difference..

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2005 11:09

A HUGE sign of relief here TicTac - I actually fell asleep last night worrying about you!!!

TicTac · 02/07/2005 11:15
