Hi Girls - so here we all are and so far so good (fingers and toes crossed and wheelbarrow loads of baby dust abounding)

Thought I would start a new thread (new name too) as babies being found out about now will just about be into March so we are no longer the absolute newbies which feels good!

So maybe we should collate all our due dates(any one had a dates scan yet??)

Keep it up!

Rosieposie, I think we have all wished the sickenss would come so that we could feel more pregnant...you are not alone! I wouldn't worry about not having too many symptoms eyt, don't forget every preg is different and you have had a couple of healthy DD so you have no reason to think there is something wrong yet!

It is really hard but keep positive! Believe me, I wish I didn't feel nauseous!!
Keep ya chin up

Frizbe · 29/06/2005 10:10

Hi all, not much to report here, still feeling vaguely nauseous in places but that's it....

Is anyone keeping a pregnancy diary for their little ones to see when their older?

Tic Tac, that's great news re the scan

Rachelrog, re your last bump, hopefully this one will be fine {{{{Hugs}}} I'm in Ripley by the way, off J28 m1 and down the A38 a bit! How old is your ds? my dd is 20mths on the 1st!

TicTac · 29/06/2005 10:15

Thanks Frizbe.

I have been keeping a diary although I don't write in it everyday...just when I feel like I have something to say.

teuch · 29/06/2005 10:19

Hi all,

feeling ok today, just a bit tired. Have developed a mad craving for chocolate caramels though! Really help the constant nausea but I think they are giving me wind

Frizbe - I was thinking about a pregnancy diary...I started with my last pg (just notes in the little pampers notebook I got free!) but after the m/c I'm not sure...I might start after 12wks so I have been storing up all my thoughts in my head until then!

Frizbe · 29/06/2005 10:22

Hey have you seen Munz has a positive

Morgan · 29/06/2005 10:24

Hi all,

MAMA5 - we are the same age - i'm 38 in november. What tests are you going to have - i only had a nuchal last time at 34 but wonder what to do this time ? Am going to ask my consultant next week when i have my scan.

Mama5 · 29/06/2005 10:28

Hi Morgan, I really trust my Nuchal bloke and will simply take his advice! Dont really want to risk anything..... Last time i was 35 and the risk was low but each preg is different and I do not want to be over confident. What are you thinking of having? (I shall be 38 in October !)

Hi all. God, I've only been on hols a week and has missed loads! I've had a scan through, but there's just so much to catch up with.
I reckon I'm 8+2 now; have given up trying to see which place works it out best! Scan booked for 26th July, but they're sending me to the hospital i didn't request, despite saying I could have my one of choice. I just cant be bothered to argue!
Still had no symptoms, except being a bit lazy and napping when ds does, so still not convinced the 5 tests were true! I'll only believe after my scan, just like last time.

spacecadet · 29/06/2005 11:00

zzzzzzz[barf]zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

RachelRog · 29/06/2005 12:05

Spacecadet - with you on that one! Took ds to school this morning and went back to bed at 10 o'clock All this constant nausea is making me just want to sleep!

Teuch - I will but some chocolate caramels to see if it works for me....I am such a sheep!

Frizbe - my ds is 5 and a half so I have left a biggish gap...don't know where time has gone to be honest......dh took a lot of persuading to try for dc 2!!
I know Ripley...have worked there before...

RosiePosie - my sickness started in week 6...think I was 6+4 to be precise so think you are heading that way soon.....feeling sick is reasurring but dreadful a times too......

Savannah · 29/06/2005 12:12

nobody talking to me then??

popmum · 29/06/2005 12:33

tabs - yes I am in Broxbourne (old nazeing rd)! Where do you live now?

RachelRog · 29/06/2005 12:54

Sorry Savannah.....hope you are feeling better now after such a crap night...did you get the storms where you are??

There are so many of us on here now it is hard to keep up with everyone!

RosiePosie · 29/06/2005 13:16

Oh, I know! Morning sickness ( yeah right ) is the pits, worse than giving birth I think, but I'd rather be feeling sick than not feeling sick because it's non-viable, IYSWIM. I guess I was just expecting it to kick in earlier, like it did last time.

Tabs · 29/06/2005 13:33

Savannah - sounds like you need to get yourself some Gaviscon and prop yourself up on a few more pillows at night. I had it really bad last time and ended up using about 7 pillows!!

RR - interesting to hear that you feel better when at home. Maybe that's why I don't feel any symptoms, because I work from home.

RosiePosie - I'm 8+5 and don't have any symptoms - not even sore boobs, but I know that all is well as I had a scan on Monday. I've been wishing morning sickness on myself too, but try not to worry - every pregnancy is different and it doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong.

Frizbe - I keep meaning to start a diary - wanted to record what symptoms I had when and all that so that I could compare if I'm pregnant again in the future, but haven't got around to doing it yet.

Popmum - if you're actually in Broxbourne then you probably know my old house. We lived in 'The Red House' at the front of Broxbourne School. We're in Kimpton now, near the Herts/Beds border instead, but DH's parents live in Roydon, so we still come over that way quite often.

Nothing more to report from me really - same old, same old...

Savannah · 29/06/2005 14:00

the storms dont bother me. i like them! lol

you mean im gonna be stuck on gaviscon for the next 8 months??? bleugh

spacecadet · 29/06/2005 15:01

rachelrog, honestly, i could sleep and sleep but i cant ashave little dd whose only 11 months at home, who never sleeps..grrr, im having to keep eating little and often all the time, have just started sucking polos.
we had some fab storms last night!
savannah, hope you feel a bit better today.

YeahBut · 29/06/2005 16:48

spacecadet, can I join you on the sleep / vom / sleep / sleep / vom thread.....?(!)

TicTac · 29/06/2005 17:48

What is IYSWIM?
Is anyone elses heyfever been really bad recently? I seemed to have sneezed 20 or 30 times a day since finding out I was pg. I am convinced that's what caused my bleed!!

I mentioned that my scan had been cancelled because of my early scan yesterday...well I got a new appointment today (how quick!!) and they have actually bought it forward. Only by 2 days but I was verr excited!

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 17:54

If You See What I Mean.

Boots do homeopathic hayfever stuff that you can take during pregnancy. You need to take it regularly, but it does work.

Tabs · 29/06/2005 18:56

Hello Flamesparrow - fancy seeing you on this thread

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 19:13

Gets everywhere I do

Savannah · 29/06/2005 20:25

eww....cant face dinner {puke emoticon}

Frizbe · 29/06/2005 20:26

Ah I see rachelrog, was that working here a good or a bad thing?! So are you coming to the Notts meetup? during the summer hols!

Thanks for the feedback tabs, teuch n Tictac, I've been thinking about starting one myself, so may give it a go, like you say be interesting to compare it with last time, as I did keep one for dd to go argh at when she's older!! I thought it would be nice, as whenever I ask my mum about anything, she just says she can't remember!

Spacecadet, {{{{Hugs}}}} and a new bucket to barf in (passes over shiney new bucket)

TicTac · 29/06/2005 20:40

Ladies there is much barffing going on...my huge sympathies to you and }}}}Hugs{{{{
