Fabulous news TrixieVix - congratulations!!
Nitnat - I think that Stealth is right. A guy at work had twins, with a little help from his wife who had a CS, and got a bit of extra time due to compassionate leave and using up all his annual entitlement, but this was at "management discretion" over and above the legal entitlement.
Poor you, mumsylady - hope you are fully recovered from the infection and the babies are with you soon!
Hope things get moving properly, arolf. And good luck to mummy2t - I too am trying the approach of piling so much food on top of the baby that she gets squeezed out
Ended up seeing a different (but equally lovely and enthusiastic) doctor today - the head is definitely getting lower, and there are no indications that would lead them to want to intervene, so got another appointment for next Thursday (41+2), where they may sweep if the head is actually engaged, and will talk about the possibility of induction the following week then.
I'm lucky in that I'm not particularly physically uncomfortable, but just don't really know what to do with myself in the meantime...
Found that my local tesco have exercise balls for a fiver, so have spent the last couple of hours wobbling about the living room
