Hello everyone...

Had a positive test this morning, suspect due on 3rd June. Gulp! Very surprised as DD is only 9 months and it took me 2 years to conceive the first time around.

Anyone here to join teh long wait?

hi all,

just checking in to say hi, and wish everyone a good weekend.

i'm still being hugely hormonal and grumpy (and weepy)...if I didn't know better I'd definitely be expecting my period any day!

i haven't told anyone apart from dh yet...far too scared that i might mc at this stage and can't face sharing that with anyone. not sure why i'm more worried with this pg than the previous 2, possibly because i've seen friends go through difficult pgs so i've got more idea what can go wrong, and maybe cos i want this one so much? odd, really.

is anyone else completely shattered all the time? honestly, you could pack luggage in the bags under my eyes...! the hardest bit of the day is getting home from work and having to look after my two dcs and put them to bed when all i want to do is collapse on the sofa!!

have a good weekend all, hope that those who are having a hard time start feeling better,

filly x

orchid / horton Yes to the, er, bottom department being a bit disturbed. (And I don't think we've really got started on the TMI yet, have we?)

I have just had a memory jogged of last time. To start with it was farty bum / number twos, and towards the end it was crippling constipation. Lovely.

I have tried to select the option for "serene and radiant" this time around but I'm not sure if they've got my order right.

LittleRobbo · 16/10/2009 18:05

evening ladies, well its 5 days since any spotting, which is great, but obviously still obsessive pessimistic knicker checker! been having really strong pg symptoms though, the nausea is overwhelming,i am off some of my fave foods, and erm, been having very,VERY sexual dreams! i dont normally.
so although i feel awful,i am welcoming feeling like shite because it means things are progressing nicely, surely???

Ladyemmalou83 · 16/10/2009 19:07

Evening Ladies. I havent got any spotting but certainly a s**t load of cramping. SIL said to me its ok to get some mild cramping as its just body adjusting, but I still cant relax. I seem to be feeling every little twinge. Had my GP appointment this morning, and they are considering a early scan from the 27th onwards due to past losses. Feel very worried about it all.

On the plus side I did throw up all over the garden decking this morning, which was pretty interesting. Next time I going to try and aim to make it to the bathroom

ClaireDeLoon · 16/10/2009 19:46

Hopefully it is just things moving around emmalou - were your previous losses very early? I hope you can get your early scan and see a heartbeat and have your mind put at rest.

LittleRobbo I'm glad the spotting is becoming a distant(ish) memory. Hope it continues to stay away.

I threw up when I was brushing my teeth this morning, then I had a plumber in to fix our heating and he was working next to the (only) bathroom so a little while later I had to throw up in the kitchen sink. DP keeps saying 'sickness is good' and I'm all

I do like the halloween smilies

MrsRigby · 16/10/2009 20:46

Hello ladyemmalou83 .

Can I join you all? Found out on Sunday that I'm pregnant . I estimate I'm due between 15th-19th June. Can't wait for the scan and then I'll really know when to expect Thomas/Emily.

I have a feeling it's a girl this time.

DH is out with friends, he's going to tell them tonight. It still doesn't feel real. Going to Build A Bear tomorrow to buy a bear for the new baby and though DH doesn't know it, I'm going to buy some pink 'baby girl' and blue 'baby boy' sleepsuits.

I just want something pysical to show that I'm pregnant, aside from the 3 BFPs that are stinking the downstairs toilet out .

Like last pregnancy no symptoms - I must be the luckiest woman on the planet.

Got my midwife appointment on Tuesday 27th October. Given that it was less than a year ago that I last saw her (I don't like her - she has an impressive monotome), do you think she'll still give me the Bounty and Emma's Diary stuff? I mean it's crap anyway, but I love free stuff. Must be the Cornish in me. I've been told that the Cornish are tighter than the Scottish!

LittleRobbo · 16/10/2009 20:48

ohmygod claire the halloween smilies are brilliant good news on the throwing up too!!

BiscuitStuffer · 16/10/2009 21:14

Has anyone else not put on any weight or changed shape at all? I had changed loads by this stage the last times and now I'm feeling paranoid.

Though I have been feeling sicky today and exhausted but it could be in my head or that I'm going down with something. The two kids have the snots and snivels.

fillybuster · 16/10/2009 22:44

Biscuit - same as you, which is odd after the first 2, but am putting it down to trying to eat more carefully sensibly this time

Ponymum - the constipation has hit already!! dh was pretty impressed at how fast my piles have made an appearance this time .

Btw, there's definitely no such thing as TMI on an ante-natal thread !!!

bluesnowfalcon · 17/10/2009 08:22

Hi all I'm joining you as well if that's ok! I got my BFP on Wednesday and I see ladyem and mrsr are here as well - hi to you!

This is number one for me so absolutely no idea what to expect really other than what I've read! Got doctors appointment on Thursday - what should I expect from that?

Filly glad to see that there is no such thing as tmi on here!

Ladyem spotting stopped yesterday so hopefully it now won't come back

imkeepingmum · 17/10/2009 10:07

Hi there can I join in please? Got a BFP this morning, first timer so not sure what to do next - phone doctor on Monday I suppose!? Hoping littleimkeepingmum will stick, it doesn't feel quite real just yet! Not telling anyone in RL yet so nice to be able to chat here.

imkeepingmum · 17/10/2009 10:09

Oh forgot to say according to the calculator due late June - around 24th.

Cadmum · 17/10/2009 12:51

Wow! It is getting busy on here! Congrats to newcomers and those who are no longer spotting.

No spotting after yesterday a.m. so I will add that the calculator puts me due on June 14. Cramping is gone as well.

I feel slightly nauseated and very tired.

Love2dance · 17/10/2009 13:05

Ladies,

Glad to see everyone seems to be progressing well. Sadly my spotting turned into a gush (of fresh blood) last night which is now steady. Got sent to A&E by out of hours GP(it had to happen on a Friday night didn't it?) and have been told to go to local Ob & Gyn dep't for a scan tomorrow. Not this time for me. I wish you all well. Next time I hope.

bluesnowfalcon · 17/10/2009 13:12

lovetodance I'm really sorry to hear your news - I hope you are able to hang on to peanut next time

Cadmum · 17/10/2009 14:03

Sorry lovetodance. Take care of yourself.

Woofie · 17/10/2009 14:07

Really sorry to hear that lovetodance. Look after yourself and hope next time comes soon for you.

Welcome to all the newbies

I smashed my left index finger in the car door yesterday, which has been so unbelievably painful that it's done a good job of taking my mind of the sickness... It's an impressive shade of violet-black.

Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.

theperfectbaguette · 17/10/2009 14:11

Oh lovetodance I'm so sorry.

Ladyemmalou83 · 17/10/2009 14:18

Yay Blue and MrsR your here! So happy to see you both. Glad the spotting stopped Blue, Ive just got lots of lovely cramps at the mo, which Im riding through.

MrsR love the build a bear idea. Might have to do that whilst DH is in Spain this week. Im looking forward to all the free stuff too. Am I sad that the bounty pack sounds really exciting?

Claire Ive lost at exactly 5weeks and exactly 6 weeks. Im 5 exactly today.

Im confused: Ive read that implantation occurs roughly 10-12 after ovulation, but the GP said its happening now. If it is 10-12 days it should have already implanted surely? Very confused.com!

ClaireDeLoon · 17/10/2009 14:44

Love2Dance I'm so very sorry. Take care.

Ladyemmalou83 · 17/10/2009 15:00

Love2dance Im so sorry to hear your news. I hope ur ok xx

Horton · 17/10/2009 15:42

Really sorry to hear your news, Love2dance. Hope next time comes quickly for you.

I thought implantation was anything from 7 days to two weeks after ovulation, but around 10 days is standard, I think.

sobloodystupid · 17/10/2009 17:44

Love2dance so sorry to hear your news.

bluesnowfalcon · 17/10/2009 18:26

ladyem Are cramps and very vague pulling feeling normal then?

Ladyemmalou83 · 17/10/2009 19:04

Blue I hope so, as that seems to be what Ive got at the mo. Feels like my muscles are being stretched one minute and cramping the next. Im told it is normal though, body and bits just adapting to the our little beans.

Horton Thanks for answering
