great to hear from you diege take carex

we had a go on wii last night dd1 had a go before bed on wii sports golf did really well.
me and dh had a go on wii play i wasnt very good @ those ones getting the knack of shooting targets etc.
was better @ the bowling
luv wii fit enjoyed the jogging and hula hoops.
my wii fit age is 41 so lots of work
off to tumble club here

Diege · 18/06/2009 09:36

Hi JULES! Wii sounds good - dds know they are 'desirtable' on playground terms, but haven't a clue what one is.
Have put another piccy of Jacob on profile, this time awake! Now is it just me or does he have a look of Nadal around the eyes?? Dh not amused

sorky · 18/06/2009 09:47

Lol at Gf schedule at less than a week old you nutter!

Keep feeding as often as you can Diege, the milk will come in, possibly today with it being day5. How's the Tramadol?

GYo · 18/06/2009 10:19

pmsl Diege! About Jacob looking like Nadal! Least its not Simon cowell I looked at the first pics on your profile and J is gorgeous

Sounds like you have the feeding sorted for now. Milk will come, keep at it. How are you feeling sore wise?

Glask hurray for good night
Tink glad you are enjoyig the wii. We are thinking of getting one.

Think we are going to hold off the dream feeding til we are home as last night went to pot completly. Going to get her back to her regularish schedule then try again. Things go awry on holiday

Off to Dorchester today. Not sure what it will be like but looks like rain today so dont fancy a beach walk. Home tomorrow.

NatalieJane · 18/06/2009 10:26

Morning

Oh Diege, he is just beautiful Gorgeous colouring. Awwww almost makes me want to do it again!! Ahem, did I just say that?! (BTW Sorky, no not doing it again, DH is awaiting those little scissors!!) How are you feeling? Other than tired! FWIW, it's always been day 5 for my milk coming in, well except Mikey.

Glask, glad you're feeling better Boom blox, t'is one of the only games I can play while feeding Mikey, have gotten so fed up of it, even DS1 moans about it now! Do love whipping DH's arse at it though! Actually, quite like just whipping his arse!!

Tink, a good one for the fit board is Raving Rabbids TV Party, it's not a game to play alone (though you can) but it's the winning (or losing!) that makes it! Oooooh and Boogie, singing, dancing, still never got DH doing it

Sorry for everyones crappy sleepless nights Will you all throw tomatoes and rotten brownies eggs at me if I say DS3 has been sleeping through from 8-8 for the last couple of months? TBF though, we had more than a fair share of sleepless nights with DS1, he didn't sleep through till he was 5yo!

We're off to see this car this afternoon, DS1 is skiving off this afternoon it's in Birmingham, there's no way we could go after school, and to be fair, he is actually quite poorly with sodding hayfever bless him, big day yesterday at the zoo, DS2 kept him awake till gone 11 last night (and most nights this week ), so he is pretty much cream crackered, I very nearly didn't send him this morning, he looks terrible

Right I am off to strangle the middle one, this child could test the patience of a saint!

GYo · 18/06/2009 10:36

lovely pic of J Diege! He is so cute. Also love the Ginger bread outfit. We had that for DD. Love that range in M&P

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2009 11:11

Morning everyone!

Oh, LB and Star I'm so sorry about your sleepless nights. It sounds like hell. LB think continuing the meds and no dairy sounds the best bet. Such a shame about the frozen bm though All your hard work!!! Hoping it gets better for you both. I wish I had some words of wisdom.

DIEGE, LOL about Jacob Nadal! I was thinking of you the other day when I read something about Wimbledon - can't believe it's already been a year since you were last lusting over him! And GYO - very funny about SC (you're SO right! ) Our NCT instructor had a good old rant about GF at Monday's class - I thought it's a good thing I took the book out of my bag before going to class! Hope your milk comes in today and feeding settles down. You sound very sensible! Oh, and thank you for the offer of ball and CD - we actually have a ball (well, it's a Reebok one from Argos, but surely doen't matter, right?) but I'd love the CD! I'll post my address on FB.

NJ - good luck with car!

Kay - so sorry about your wrist, hope it feels better soon.

Jules - Glad you've had fun on Wii. Be careful though, someone at DH's job threw their shoulder out playing Wii bowling!

Hi Everyone else!

Cosmogirl · 18/06/2009 11:41

Hi all,

Ahh Diege, what a cutie! It is so strange seeing baby babies now - April seems so grown up in comparison! No broodiness here though - the memories of the sickness are still far to fresh!

Contraception wise we are a bit buggered though. Do you remember I said I'd started mini pill? Well, soon as I started it I started bleeding really heavily and it went on for about 8 days. I got so fed up I stopped it and hey presto bleeding ceased completely. So, it seems it's back to condoms until I stop feeding when I will go back on the combined pill I think.

Really looking forward to Wimbledon starting - also can't believe a whole year since you were lusting Diege. But, having said that due to the pregnancy at the time the year did drag!

GYo - your hols sound lovely. We are hoping to get away later in the year for a week just somewhere in the UK. We have a three day break in Brighton in a few weeks too so looking forward to that.

First trip away from home with baby this weekend to see my parents - I think when they see the amount of stuff we turn up with they will think we've come for a fortnight!

Hi to everyone else.

bumpsnowjustplump · 18/06/2009 12:52

It never rains as they say..

In supermarket getting all my dairy free bit
s and ds starts crying. So pay for bits load car up and go back in to change him... He has had a poo explosion and it is all over me as well (I had him in the sling at time). It is green poo again and he is covered in a rash... I rush him to HV clinic and she thinks he has a virus which is why he has been so sick and has green poo. I have to keep a close eye on him to check he doesnt get temp or refuse feeds.. If he does we have to go to a&e...

So I still dont know if it is dairy doing this!!! I am still going to go dairy free but may not throw the ebm away just yet, that way we can test him with one bottle when he is better rather than me eating dairy and it taking two weeks to get out of my system!

DD has a cold and cough as well so he could have picked it up from her. So much for bf protecting him grrrrrrrrrrr He is the illest baby ever!!!

julesisindahouse · 18/06/2009 13:32

defenetly buying family ski tom. might get another looking @ carnival mini golf?

lastboxoftampons · 18/06/2009 17:34

Cosmo - sorry the minipill didn't work out. Isn't the baby birth control enough!?

Oh, LB Sounds like you had a horrible shopping trip! But if it is a virus, then it could be a good thing once it works its way out of him. It's really hard to distinguish just what's wrong as he was sick quite a lot before, so it's hard to tell if his sickness now has anything to do with a potential virus, or if it's reflux/dairy intolerance, etc. Hoping things get better for you and you get some answers!

Hi Tink

My FIL stayed over on Tuesday night - and he's SUCH a bad house guest! He's lovely, very laid back, but when he leaves you find all sorts of things out of place/broken, etc. For one thing, he must've broke my shower pouf DH never touches it, but this morning when I showered, it fell apart He broke SIL & BIL's sink plug last time he stayed there and set off the smoke alarm when he was trying to use the microwave. He also left a wet towel lying on my breast feeding pillow in the spare room and didn't make the bed before he left. I do have to strip the bed of course, but I would never stay at someone's house and not make the bed before I left! I mean, you gotta love him, but yeesh!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 18/06/2009 17:56

Hi! Feels ages since I've been on but I think it's only about 36hrs!

Another weigh in here today and another 2.5oz gain (since Monday) so Owen is now 8lb 2oz at 5+5 weeks. HV leaving us alone til next Wednesday. Hoping he'll finally be just about back at his birth weight of 8lb 9oz then which would be good. He had also done a huge poo about an hour before today's weigh in. I did try asking him not to poo until after he was weighed but he obviously couldn't keep it in
HV was pleased and said there had obviously been issues with his tongue tie and she gave me 10/10 for perseverance.

Off to catch up now!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 18/06/2009 18:06

Diege - what a gorgeous boy! In fact a gorgeous family I bet Jacob's a very popular little boy with his sisters!

LBOT - I guess men are men even when it's your FIL!

Jules - wii sounds great

Cosmo - looking forward to Wimbledon here too

Bumpy - can't believe your bad luck. Hope it turns out that DS has a virus that disappears quickly and you get your happy, healthy boy back.

GYo - broodiness rearing it's ugly head again??!

Hi everyone else!

Diege · 18/06/2009 18:08

Hey great news SES about weigh-in
LB, what a shopping trip As LBOX says though, at least when virus is out of his system you'll be able to take it out of the equation. Def keep ebm till then!
GYO, nearly ruptured my stitches over your ref to Mr.Cowell ; you mustn't make me snigger like that!
Expressing going ok - think milk is coming in - managed about an ounce and also got some nipple shields that look very odd indeed! Still not managed that birth story! Think I'll be meeting with supervisor of midwives next week to go over notes as not happy with some of what went on (wishes ignored etc with no explanantion) during labour, but I won't bore you with the details just yet
Right, dds back, speal later!

Cosmogirl · 18/06/2009 19:48

LBOT - DD is a fantastic contraceptive at the moment - much nicer than the mini-pill too! DH is rather put off 'getting jiggy' with her sleeping in her basket next to the bed!

Description of your FIL made me laugh LBOT! Sounds quite comedic but sure in real life is rather annoying!

Diege - good luck speaking to midwives etc.. I was surprised after the birth at how they take your notes away and don't let you look at what they are writing during the birth. I guess it is the risk of them being sued etc but wasn't expecting that. I'd grown really attached to my notes over the twelve months and then they are just taken away!

Jules - Zack and Wiki is good if you like puzzle games and mariokart with the wheels is good fun too.

Ses - well done on weight gain.

Bumpy - sounds like a nightmare...

Cosmogirl · 18/06/2009 19:50

Did you spot the error? I meant to say 'I got attached to my notes over the 9 months - not 12'....[clearly it felt like 12! though ]

GYo · 19/06/2009 03:36

evening

LOL about DD being a contraceptive. Definatrly true! Despite my weird broodiness I dont have any desire to be pregnant again soon.

Diege hope meeting goes ok. It is odd that they whip the notes away. I'd love to read my labour notes to see if the MW referenced -how- -much- -I- -swore- how it
progressed and if my memory is what really happened.

SES there is no stopping Mr mini Ses now! Well done to you both and you should really feel proud for having not given up many would have done in your situation

Tink- thanks will look on amazon for a wii.

Lbot your FIL really does sound like hard work!

We are nearly at the end of our hols head back home tomorrow. Its been lovely and managed only one 'upset' with DH its been good to work as a team with DD a bit more except he has a weird aversion to doing -any- public nappy changes!

LB, Star- how are your nights going? Hope things are ok. LB sorry for the potenial virus, but least it might be reason for increased sickness again. Hope your DP is supporting you in this.

GYo · 19/06/2009 03:42

Gruff, are you lurking? Not heard from you for ages.
Hope you are ok. Looking fwd to our mini meet next week

bumpsnowjustplump · 19/06/2009 07:59

Morning. DS slept well last night he went from 9 - 4.. Then fed and vomited it all back up in my bed. o we have been lounging on sofa watching crap on the tv since then..... Just going to sort bed out now!!!!

Do you think it is ok to go to toddler group? The rash has gone and poo is back to normal so it is just the sickness (but that could be normal)!

What would you do?

bumpsnowjustplump · 19/06/2009 08:09

Scrap that He has just had another green poo so I wont be taking him to toddler group just incase he passes anything on...

Another day confined wihtin these four walls Still I might set up all the paints for dd downstairs..

glaskham · 19/06/2009 08:45

Bump- i'm confined to the house too. DS has what i had i think... he's coughed so much he's been sick twice this morning... thought it best to keep him off.

May do arts and crafts with the older DC's this afternoon and make fathers day cards with them... even though i've bought him one off them all, making him one aswell will put a smile on his face!!

DD2 also slept from 9-4... but luckily she went back down from 4.15-7.15... she's getting good at this sleeping bussiness finally!! She was in the moses basket in her cot, hoping to make it just her cot by next week.

Heeeeellllloooooooooooo????

Is anyone around? I'm becoming engrosed in the AIBU threads because there's no wagon action this morning!!

OP posts:
Cosmogirl · 19/06/2009 09:42

Not really Glask - quick read, post and run as need to get packing for this weekend.

GYo - in response to your comment about DH not liking public nappy changes - mine seems to be the same! The other week we were out and about and DD needed changing so lifted boot of car as we had just parked, to do a quick change there but he got all upset and weird about it! I didn't think it was that big a deal.....so Glask AIBU to change DD's nappy in public??
