welcome mossop and LittleBlessing
sammysam My friends pool was this one: madeinwater.co.uk/pool.html - its actually £65 and you can pay up to £104 if you include all the useful bits like pumps and tap fixings which seems sensible.
Really trying not to get too fixated on how much I'd like a home water birth just in case the last scan indicates a c-section is a must.
HC Nice pram! I'm completely dithering on any form of transport for junior other than an Ergo Carrier sling and seat on rear of bicycle. I sort of see pushchairs the same way I see cars - something I can manage without (never had a car). Again, I think I may just have my head up my arse in the clouds, but don't fancy being one of those women who stand looking really stuck at the bottom of the stairs in a tube station with a pushchair waiting for someone to help them.
mmmm steak!
LittleMissBliss Sorry to hear about your DS, hope it's just a phase, sounds so frustrating.
Also feeling super tired lately - can't sleep well (massive boobs + bump + hayfever + randomly chatty DH)
SassJ Belly button - cresting, will it go the whole way?!
HappyTangerine Vesuvius; how amazing! No time to hike it when in Naples (although did admire it from Pompei and Herculaneam). Did hike Etna though later on the holiday, only a few weeks after it last erupted - was darn hot underfoot
fidelma the cottages are gorgeous! I love the tiling in the Furze house, lovely! I wish I had the time and money to visit this year, but have book marked them as a destination for the future
Completely embarrased myself on the tube yesterday. Too tired to walk the 1hr20min into work (having walked to and from the day before) and my tube line was one of the few to break the strike. Had to wait 20mins on a crowded platform before it turned up, full to bursting. Luckily someone came off and I tried to squeeze in and some man said 'don't push!' and elbowed me really hard in the side. Held it together for 1 stop before bursting into tears and then when I blew my nose had quite a nosebleed. Heh lots of people looking quite vexed, businessmen standing up to let me sit, people passing me tissues. Needless to say, despite being tired I walked home again .
