Hello!
My PILs took DS out yesterday and he stayed the night, so I am feeling much better following my cold and had a relatively good night. I haven't had any more pains, so I think Belgian was spot on with her Braxton Hicks diagnosis.
Jael my DS was born at 37 weeks and my consultant told me at the time he really never worried about any baby born over 36 (or was it 35?) weeks. He was considered full term by the hospital and apart from jaundice, was absolutely fine.
spangle I really struggled with breastfeeding due to DS's jaundice and ended up expressing a lot. He had formula top ups from the start, and although everyone told me it was the start of the end of breastfeeding, I did manage to exclusively bf for about 6 weeks or so and he is still bf now at 2.5 years! We were advised to put his moses basket on the window sill for daily sun baths when we came out of hospital to get rid of the rest of the jaundice, which wasn't easy in November! I also second what febes said about raising the top of the moses basket. DS slept like that for months! I loved the photos of baby Harvey, so so cute!
tummum are you drinking enough water, do you think?
detsy and belgian I hope you meet-up goes well. I'm so sorry I couldn't make it. I'm really not up to driving, although I feel a lot better.
I have my scan and consultant appointment tomorrow. It is so odd that I could find out tomorrow when the baby might arrive!
