Soo not in the mood for a 'roll in the sack' over here either lol. DP is getting a bit annoyed, but who cares

Is anyone else hungry all the time?? I feel like if I havent eaten in about an hour then I might pass out, just anything savory i'm not fussy! Roll on tea time

So sorry Hoops

lollie77 · 13/05/2009 17:14

So sorry hoops

lollie77 · 13/05/2009 17:18

TOTALLY not up for even thinking about sex right now!!! In fact, I am so irritable about my DH snoring or even trying to cuddle into me that most nights I sleep in another room! I don't feel guilty though, I feel like throwing up almost all the time, my boobs hurt, I have a constant headache and I'm exhausted so think the least he can do is appreciate that I'm not in the mood. Thankfully have a lovely supportive and understanding DH!

Tillyscoutsmum · 13/05/2009 20:07

cazzybabs · 13/05/2009 20:20

I can't stop eating....I am sooo fat. My clothes are getting very tight and I can't even blame being pregnant.

I must stop eating so many biscuits and I must start doing some excersie, but I am tired!

JoseyM · 13/05/2009 21:41

Hi girls!
First timer and due on 25th Dec according to my dates! Really overwhelmed as fell pregnant pretty much on first attempt but was stupidly expecting to try for at least a couple of months.

Bin feeling super sick all the time...love the look of the boobs but they hurt like hell. Tired a lot of the time but happy! Clothes just beginning to feel tight...think i am bloated as only 8.5 weeks.

Lovely to have you all to chat to xxx

Sorry Hoops

SarahL2 · 14/05/2009 14:25

Well, had to tell 2 friends this morning.

Turned up at soft play looking (and feeling) like death warmed up and they asked what was up!!. They're going to be the ones I'll be crying on if all goes wrong anyway and I see them 2 or 3 times a week so they would have noticed soon (had already guessed in one case) so it seemed sensible.

Got my scan date too. 12th June. Just taking each day at a time and hoping we make it this time...

Good luck to everyone who's still here and so sorry for everyone who's left - I hope you're back on a thread like this soon - all the way to the end

LittleMonkeysMummy · 14/05/2009 15:55

Hi everyone.

Sorry to hear about your news Hoops.

Have discovered that I'm going to have to tell my boss when I go back to work on Monday as she's left me a message on my answering machine offering a wonderful job promotion covering a maternity leave starting after the summer hols - would be fab too as the person isn't keen on coming back at all. Isn't it funny how priorities change - would have bitten of my arm for the job before DD arrived and now...ah well, I know which I'd rather have

DH is obviously feeling guilty at my comments about him having a holiday as he's decided just to come straight home next week - oh the power of hormonal women..ain't it fab

Jeannie5194 · 14/05/2009 17:53

Hello all,

Have a house full of 10 year olds today as its my sons 10th birthday so I've retreated to the bedroom for a bit of peace and quiet (still trying to figure out all of this DH DD etc stuff!).

Unexpectedly expecting again for the second time (due 25th December), nervous and excited and feeling fat (but happy) already.

Nice to know that there are so many of you out there to chat too.

xx

Hi All

Not posted for ages as our internet was down for a while.

Feeling awful - constantly sick and exhausted but with an added bonus symptom from last time (TMI alert, but who else can I tell??)

Due to destruction of pelvic floor by DD, every time I retch I p myself a little.

Joy, joy, joy. Please someone tell me I'm not alone?

And let this be a lesson to the first-timers - DO THOSE EXERCISES!

Got 12 wk scan on Monday but I think I'm only 11 wks, we'll see.

docket · 15/05/2009 12:46

Sorry to hear your news Hoops.

Pinkjenny · 15/05/2009 13:05

I feel completely wiped out. As if I'm in a constant daze. Constantly nauseous, feel sick if I don't eat, feel sick if I do. And the excess saliva is giving me the most revolting taste in my mouth.

I was the same way with dd, and it's all coming flooding back to me now.

This too shall pass, this too shall pass.

docket · 15/05/2009 13:26

Me too Pinkjenny. And despite feeling permanently nauseous I am eating like a horse. I have a considerable bump made up of egg mayonnaise and peanuts. Grim really!

Pinkjenny · 15/05/2009 13:31

Oh Docket, and you've got two others? I am feeling sorry enough for myself with just dd. I just want to curl up and go to sleep when I get home. I feel that is only a luxury for the first timers on this thread.

And I had a HUGE McDonalds for lunch. And now I feel sick. Surprisingly.

docket · 15/05/2009 13:41

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmcdonalds....
I don't even like McDonalds. But I'd kill for one right now .

SarahL2 · 15/05/2009 15:30

Have been feeling really guilty about my current junk food cravings.

Seemed to eat nothing but fruit with DS!

ScorpiowithabigS · 15/05/2009 15:37

I have 3 others - it's such hard work when I'm so bloody tired. Have been sleeping at 8 pm, poor dh. Have had midwife and scan this week. All good! I have a definite bump already and fear I am going to be outed soon! I have been eating alot of carbs too. Chips for tea today LOL . I'm off for a spa break in 4 weeks I cannot wait!!

SarahL2 · 15/05/2009 17:17

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and am worried that people will either think I am fatter than usual (still have a stone at least to loose from DS!) or will guess that I'm pregnant.

I'm only 8 weeks but already my jeans are getting tight. I showed really early with DS too.

I don't want to tell people yet cause I miscarried in january at 6 weeks and want to be sure this baby is going to be OK before I share the news.

Do you think it would be OK to wear either my magic knickers or tights? I would usually wear both to really squish things in but that can get very hot and I don't want to hurt the baby - just disguise it a bit...

I have a real jelly belly from DS which is going to look awful till I get qite big i think. I'd just rather not have it all on display...

PennyBenjamin · 15/05/2009 17:23

SarahL2 - I have to go to a wedding when I'll be 13 weeks. I really don't want anyone to know, as I'm quite enjoying keeping it to myself this time round, plus I don't want to take the attention away from the couple getting married, but as my stomach muscles are not what they were thanks to DS I'm really afraid it will be soooo obvious! I am only 8 1/2 weeks, and already I'm thinking about getting my maternity jeans out!

Quick poll of the fashion conscious amongst you - know of any dresses currently out there which would disguise a bump without looking totally obvious or tent like?

PennyBenjamin · 15/05/2009 17:24

Oh, and by the way, I'm sure it's fine to wear magic knickers - you've still got a lot of space in there. I intend to wear mine as long as possible!
