SpringySunshine · 25/03/2009 11:03

There had better be a baby by the end of this thread. I know that gives us about 2 days & we're not even in April yet, but I'm getting so bored waiting!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 11:05

oh well done bb!! sorry i did another one as i came on and panicked!! lol

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 11:06

Oh Springy sorry but with the contractions, show and now waters, I am pretty sure this is it - and I even promise to keep my cervix dust away!!!

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 11:07

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 11:07

Bleu - Pizza

Springy - I'm out, my last one was a fluke, I didn't even notice.

mathsmummy27 · 25/03/2009 11:07

Springy, you know if I could I would have a sniff for you

SpringySunshine · 25/03/2009 11:07

It'd better be, but I'm really not convinced.

I'm seriously just sitting here with a face. I'm very, very doubtful.

I have, however, allowed myself the massive luxury of a taxi just in case. It'll be here in 5 minutes or so, so I'll have to be off in a sec

LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 11:08

I'm v. confused. Is this the right thread?

Bleuravin · 25/03/2009 11:08

Quite excited Springy!

i must go paint the cotbed or crib depending on your use of the language.
And I have to figure out supper. I think I'll give Dh a call and see what's going on.

I'll be back on later to catch up...

SpringySunshine · 25/03/2009 11:08

I'm off! Loves ya! xx Will text

mathsmummy27 · 25/03/2009 11:08

BB - is springy in actuall labour??? OMG!!! have her waters gone????

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 11:15

Ok springy had more blood last night and has just leaked a little, she phoned MW triage and they have told her to go in as they are a bit concerned about the blood lasting so long and now she may have started to lose her waters (yay)

Kali is fully engaged yay!

Boff's DH is poorly with very high bp so we are all worried for BoffinMum and BoffinDad

MM wet herself in bed

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 11:15

Sorry if I missed anything off!

OP posts:
Juwesm · 25/03/2009 11:16

Woah, got very lost in the threads there for a moment.

Boff - a calcium-blocker is a reasonable second-line choice (though still not convinced it follows current guidelines ). How long ago did he start the beta-blockers? Did they not have any effect at all or did he have side-effects? Have you tried doing some home measurements to rule out white-coat?

With calcium-channel blockers, it is worth noting headaches are one of the side-effects (though should be transient)! Also flushing and possibly leg swelling.

More patient-focussed website here

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 11:17

Springy is such a queue-jumper!!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 11:18

Thanks BB you're a gem xxx

BB - i did catch that everything is ok with you and dh now, really pleased ((hugs))

Kali - hooray for engagement!!

Boffin - big ((hugs)) to you and dh xx

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 11:18

I know Juw - if it wasn't for the lack of action on this thread as a whole then I would be very grumpy!!!

OP posts:
mathsmummy27 · 25/03/2009 11:19

..and what's WORSE, DH came in to see me attempting to change the sheets in a disctinctly hippo-like manner and was really concerned and nice about it instead of laughing at me like usual...stupid husbands
