Mmm - avocado - yum! I eat salads every day but I also eat biccies and bad stuff every day .

Either I am getting fat or swollen - possibly a combination but wedding & engagement ring suddenly v. tight.

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 12:28

I would just be concerned that it has gone on for so long - could be an ongoing low-grade infection, or a chronic condition like IBS. You could always speak to GP about sending in a stool sample for analysis. Not good that you are feeling lethargic and not gaining weight. And you'll probably get dehydrated too, and low on sodium. potassium etc. I would definitely pop in to see GP when you get the chance.

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 12:29

I am gorging myself on large bowl of potato salad at the moment. The main problem with being at home all day is that I just keep grazing on whatever I can find.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:31

GAH what is with MN today!! crashing and not letting me even get on the site!!

on such an exciting day too.

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 12:32

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 12:32

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 12:35

So does anyone want to sample my fruity baps?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:37

would love a bite of your fruity baps please Puzzle are they buttered??

AuldAlliance · 25/03/2009 12:38

Boff, no advice or info, just supportive vibes.

Bleu, do NOT cook for those people. Sit down and relax, you need all your energy for birth and beyond.

Springy, thinking of you!!!! Looking forward to updates.

Bronze, salad cravings do sound enviable, much better than biscuit ones.

Have just completely lost it and broken down in hysterical tears in front of DS, who is exhausting me and being really cheeky and disobedient. He brought me tissues, wiped my eyes and then "read" me a story book to help me feel better. I feel like a shite mum.
DH said this morning that I am overreacting, that we are healthy and so are our kids, that we love each other and that things are worse for many, many other people. He's right.
I think the evil hormones are hitting me.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:38

bite is a bit full on though .....maybe a nibble??

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:40

Auld - ((hugs)) xx

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 12:41

Hot buttery buns over here please!

LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 12:47

Auld if it is any consolation I have screamed at and cried in front of DD today. I am working my arse off trying to deep clean my mother's place before we move home at the weekend and yet I never seem to make any progress.

DD had nightmares last night so she ended up sleeping with us, ripping off her nappy in her sleep and wetting the bed. So add mattress, underblankets and sheets to the cleaning list.

This morning I started foam cleaning the bedroom carpet, and while unsupervised....

....the cat pissed on the living room carpet. I had foam cleaned the whole living room carpet on my hands and knees last week.

And then DD, having pulled her nappy off again pissed on not one, but both sofa cushions.

I AM FED UP WITH EVERYONE PISSING ALL OVER THE PLACE! I just can't keep up with the cleaning.

bronze · 25/03/2009 12:48

Auld- logically you can see where you dh is comign from but I would be the same as you in your position

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 25/03/2009 12:50

LuluBai - you sound at the end of your tether!

Put the cat outside and lock the cat flap.

Tell DD if she takes her nappy off again you'll duct tape gloves onto her hands all day and two nappies onto her bottom. Growl for effect.

Make cup of tea. Sit down, eat chocolate biscuit/cake and breathe.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:51

LuLu ((hugs)) xx

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 12:52

Oh Auld and LuLu ((hugs))!!

LuLu you really do have a pee problem in your house - can you put the cat in the kitchen? hope it is going to learn before going back to your lovely new house!!

Update from springy, she thinks they are sending her home in a bit, she is slightly dilated and head is very very deeply engaged but it might be it, it might not, either way tis too early to be in hospital...

Schulte · 25/03/2009 12:53

LuLu poor you but I must admit your post made me laugh Just having this picture of you cleaning up piss all the time after cat and DD it's too much for me I hope you can see the funny side too

Okay trying to be helpful now... a nappy for the cat? Or throw him out of the house? And can you put DD in a dress or dungarees that she can't take off herself?

Fingers crossed you'll get it all done xxx

Boff sorry to hear about BoffinDad, I have no advice but lots of sympathy

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 12:53
