mmmmmm milk yum yum yum

i ate another stick of chalk yesterday gonna have to get dd a new box soon lol

bronze · 25/03/2009 12:59

I said her cervix had been much malaligned. Its doing its job at a much more appropriate time

AuldAlliance · 25/03/2009 13:02

LuLu, I do feel better, thanks.
When I bawl uncontrollably in front of DS, I feel as if I am laying down deep-seated trauma that he'll need therapy to overcome once he's older!
Can you shove that cat outside, or shut it in an enclosed pee-proof space? And stop giving your DD drinks? Or glue her to the potty for a while? Or glue a nappy on her?

bronze · 25/03/2009 13:03

Or he'll just learn that mummy is human

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 13:04

yup, crikey was it only 2 weeks ago!! hopefully CS will be out of the window and she can be birthing in hospital the way she wants to now.

well if shes dilated time to start placing bets on how long it is before we all get to say hello to little George!!

i'm really excited!!

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 13:06

Well if last night is anything to go by my baby is going to get VERY VERY used to my tantrums and tears!!!

LuLu how old is your LO again - sounds a bit like she recognises when she needs to wee and doesn't like it in her nappy so positive signs for potty training!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 13:06

Auld - we all have a bawling moment now and again, he will be fine xx

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 13:06

Me too - I reckon she will give birth at the weekend...

LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 13:07

Aaaw - thanks for all the support, corks and ever-useful duct tape!

Yes, I can kind of see the funny side of it all (have actually threatened the cat with a nappy). I just have days where the sheer volume of bodily fluids generated by this household drives me slightly around the bend. And then I remember I am about to produce an all-pissing, all-pooping, all-vommiting baby.

Our newly done house is not having any carpet in it anywhere. All surfaces are wipe clean to help preserve my sanity.

Nutty I've got looooads of chalk if you are still feeling peckish. Any particular colour?

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 13:08

Nutty that is weird...

OP posts:
Bleuravin · 25/03/2009 13:11

I've had it!
Bleu is rebelling and going to hide under her covers!
Crib is horrible to paint and what 'help' the ILs offered on it has left paint on my oak flooring despite having put down a drop sheet! And it was not properly primed obviously!
And I cannot cook for 14 people! We don'te even have seating for that many! DH is going to have to handle it all himself because I SIMPLY CANNOT.

LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 13:11

Yes BB - I think she is very much ready for potty training but every guide I have read has said that you should avoid potty training for two months either side of 'big life changes' like house moves and arrival of new siblings. We have a potty there for her to experiment with whenever she wants but I'm not pushing it until June. Also in summer there will be less clothes to wash when she has accidents.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 13:12

LuLu - just the plain white will do please

BB - right we're on wednesday now and she has blood, plug? waters and dilation. My bets on proper full on labour is very late thursday night 11pm onwards/ friday morning, actual birth friday afternoon.

LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 13:14

Oh Bleu - good for you.

DH invited them, so he can cook for them. And DH should be painting too - all those paint fumes could make you light headed.

I'm off to wash my hair now as have spent all morning scrubbing and cleaning in my nightie - and need to seize the moment to wash myself while DD sleeps.

Bleuravin · 25/03/2009 13:14

And I don't have anything proper to wear if we're having guests...and I need a shower and need to redye my blue streak...
I just can't handle it.

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 13:15

yeah but this is springy by rights she should already have the baby I am on for saturday afternoon - we don't know it's definitely waters - she could have just done a MM although all depends how much her and DH do the deed I guess!!

Bleu - Finally you see the light!! well done!!

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 13:16

Bleu, send your DH a text saying sorry you just can't cope with cooking for 14 people so can he pick something up and organise it as you are not feeling up to it after entertaining for the past few days. If he has any sense he will postpone tonight and come and look after you!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 13:19

mathsmummy27 · 25/03/2009 13:21

purplemonkeydishwasher · 25/03/2009 13:23

oh yes! i'm with you on the milk cravings! we are going through A LOT right now!

my friend texted this morning so we took the kids to the soft play for a bit. (lots of spotty children there...that's not good...)

now we're home having lunch (well, DS is having lunch. i'm trying to figure out what I want to eat that won't kill me) and then we are heading for the train to go to see DH and give him DS so I can go for my massage! i'm ridiculously excited!

very exciting about springy! i think she'll pop on friday evening.

auld - i do that from time to time (PND takes it's toll) and I feel so guilty. i don't want DS growing up with a sad mum. but, if you think about it, it isn't a regular occurance. most of the time we are ok, and that's what they'll remember. and what a wonderful sweet caring little boy you have! that's something to be very proud of!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 25/03/2009 13:24

oh and any tips for getting this baby to change positions? it's still transverse and driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
