drat! I haven't.

AuldAlliance · 19/03/2009 20:37

Oh, just managed to post on previous thread without any insider knowledge of special techniques...
Will import my reply to LuLu's question...

AuldAlliance · 19/03/2009 20:38

LuLu, I haven't technically been on strike, but merely because I was on sick leave due to my knee, then there were 2 wks holiday and now I'm on maternity leave. But were I not on ML, I'd have been on strike for 7 wks now, as I am so utterly opposed to the planned reforms of education and to the way they are being implemented.
Half my colleagues are still on strike, the other half have gone back to work, fed up with the lack of response from the government and worried about what will happen to the university year. It is grim. I have resigned from all my (unpaid and very time-consuming) administrative functions, so am unsure what will happen about those once I return to work.
The lecturers' strike is kind of separate from the general one-day strikes, as it has been going on for so long.

Want to see my workplace, anyone? This is the delightful state of what is considered one of France's better Arts faculties...
here

tristaleejac · 19/03/2009 20:39

I'm going to have one last sneaky shot.

Wish me luck, I'm going in.......

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 19/03/2009 20:40

Anyone heard from Barbarelly lately? I'm sure she's hectic with her three little treasures... would be lovely to get some more pics!!

BB - how are you today my lovely buddy? Any more squeezings we need to know about?

Boff - love the hairstyle, very sexy... and your bump looks fab too!

Everyone else - want some sticky toffee cake? XXX

bronze · 19/03/2009 20:42

Wish I could go on strike but the only people to suffer would be the kids.

bronze · 19/03/2009 20:43

tristaleejac · 19/03/2009 20:43
