Ooh, I like the complaints tickets - nice idea! I'm not sure what he can possibly have to grumble about, really. I don't suppose it ever stopped me at that age

My grumble of tonight is that I've got really painful contractions again (really painful ) & I've just had a rather unpleasant bowel movement, but I know that the baby's not actually even thinking about coming out & it's all for nothing. Stupid sex drive, inflicting PAIN on me

tristaleejac · 19/03/2009 22:13

Right guys I'm off to bed. Hope you all have a comfy night's sleep xxx

I am here. Was just having a couple of contractions. They have stopped now.

SpringySunshine · 19/03/2009 23:09

I'm here too. Was watching Grey's Anatomy & wriggling my toes through contractiony pain.

Still no baby

It's going to be weeks yet & this is so rubbish. Forget the cork idea though, Nutty

I was wondering - with the show, when does it appear? Is it that it's just sitting in your knickers, or does it come away when you wipe after the loo, or what?

SpringySunshine · 19/03/2009 23:10

You really seem to be gearing up to something though, Boff. What are your instincts on timescale at the moment?

bronze · 19/03/2009 23:12

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 19/03/2009 23:19

I had my show during labour, sort of fell out (i think, i was in the nuddy and doing my toilet hover ) then there was quite a bit of blood. Sorry TMI

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 19/03/2009 23:24

Not TMI for me at all - I asked & am genuinely interested It's funny what pregnancy does to your sense of decency

& I wish I would. I'm ready now. I would love for him to come out, I really would. I just don't see it happening any time soon. It's the sex that's set me off, nothing to do with him wanting to come out. & they're still not as bad as when I was in hospital (although they are quite bad!) but my back is hurting lots, which is new. I'm taking it as progress, but I'm not at all hopeful that anything will happen for ages. The best I can hope for is that the prostaglandins are helping to prepare my cervix

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 19/03/2009 23:29

Springy - oooh definately take the back development as progress that is of course unless you have managed to hurt your back from swinging off the lampshade and diving off the wardrobe

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 19/03/2009 23:30

are you raspberry leafing as well?

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 19/03/2009 23:34

No, I'm not raspberry leafing - I think it'd kill me if I did

& no, sadly not that kind of back injury. Definitely related to the contractions. Maybe I should start visualising the opening of my 'yoni' & see what happens
