"have no idea how subtle/ cunning you have to get with a 2 year old!!"

VERY !!!

DS was very good and pretended to take some, at an angle that was ment to hide the fact the spoon was empty. He was well up for it as he got choc. buttons for taking his medicine, was to make sure whe understood she would too.

Didn't work.

But might if we coulor up some water with food colouring and label up an empty bottle - one for each of us.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 19:36

Juw that might of been it actually, she was only a baby at the time.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 19:38

Oh goodness, the depths of deception!! You could always get tablets and just grind them up and spike her food!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 19:38

2yr olds are very stoubbourn at times, what a nightmare for you both. ((hugs))

Uuuuuuuuuuuuurgh - not suppositories. I remember being prescribed them for something as a child (abroad - v. keen on taking
medecine anally on the continent). It was like some sort of torture. I can remember it vividly and I must have only been 4.

Mumble - truly hope your DD doesn't have Scarlett Fever. If it is 4 doses a day that is going to be heavy going.

mumblemumhome4lunch · 16/03/2009 19:44

Just you wait Juwesm, you have no idea how devious you will learn to be.

Honestly tho' can't believe there aren't more suppositories for small kids - would save so much aggro. I seem to remeber reading/hearing that the French are quite big on them but we Brits are just way too wary of anything anal

Except on here I seem to recall

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 19:45

Yikes - anyone watching the Yellowstone documentary. "When wolves mate they become locked together for half an hour or more." The female wolf was yowling and trying to escape and was literally stuck by the bum to her suitor.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 16/03/2009 19:45

Just caught up! What a chatty day...

No babies today? I suppose we're all holding out for WFH & BB to get in there first... although Boff does look like a contender...

I have an insane pain in my right hand side - at the back, lower ribs - not sure if she's wedged in there or if I've pulled something! Ouch ouch ouch... Am bouncing on the ball to see if I can shift her...

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 19:46

Errr - mumble when I wrote the wolves post I had no idea it would follow your post on 'things anal'.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 19:47

I think your timing was impeccable Lulu!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 19:48

Lol mumble i was terrified of giving them to dd they looked so big in comparison to dd's mini butt the gooey residue in the nappy wasn't so fun either

OP posts:
mumblemumhome4lunch · 16/03/2009 19:49

Think that can happen with domestic dogs too

mumblemumhome4lunch · 16/03/2009 19:50

Imagine how annoying I must be !

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 19:51

LuLu - great timing maybe they were happy yowls from mrs wolf???

Kitty - good luck with the ball xx

OP posts:
LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 19:53

Kitty - don't know about back ribs but I get a lot of pain and discomfort under my front ribs, particularly on the right when baby tries to stretch or straighten and pushes hard into my ribcage.

BabyBolat · 16/03/2009 19:56

Mumble, try not to worry, I only went in to hospital because it has spread inside my mouth and was heading to the back of my throat - honestly as soon as they got the right drugs inside of me really did feel much better!

oooh s'tries - yuck! DH will have to do that if we ever need to! Like if we have a boy he has to be the one to take it to get circumcised as I refuse point blank to be involved in anything like that!!!

oooh kitty good luck with the pain!!

Ouch for being locked together - poor wolf woman!!

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 16/03/2009 19:56

Evening all

Hope noone out there is thinking of jumping the queue and having a baby before me......

Have had a busy day, went to the garden centre and bought a patio rose and a bay tree as well as lots of seeds for DS and I to plant tomorrow. Only herbs as snails and slugs eat everything else in this garden have tried everything to keep them away and have finally given up.

also lots of washing and tidying and managed to wash the carry cot cover (hand wash, why oh why?) and empty the bins. then walked to nursery to pick up DS, and now am completely crippled. My back is killing me!

mumblemum sorry have no useful advice as DS loves medicine and will swallow it no problem. Strange child.

Bad news this end is that DS may have impetigo - going to the nurse tomorrow at 8.30 (yikes) but if it is then he can't go back to nursery for a WEEK until it's cleared up! When will I nap and lounge around on my birth ball? This is not good.

And DP forgot my banana milkshake when he got the shopping

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 19:58

Nutty - please send DH back out for banana milkshake.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 19:59

feedback on the great ball pain debate....

dh says that being kicked in the balls is similar to being poked in the eye

where as nookie ball bashing is more like rythmic strokey kind of sensaition slightly painfull but not shockingly so.

Frekkles - Sorry you are still feeling rough. It's good that you and John are talking though.

Kalikaroo - I waver between feeling all glowing and serene to hating being pregnant. It changes at least five times a day.

Springy - Where's the new bump pic then? I must get DH to take one this weekend.
Glad things are cool with your sister.

Nutty - Bless your DH, what an angel.
I hope the tens helps, and the hydro. Although you didn't like it when you got out last time, no?

Ju - I put a Wilkinsons order in today. Thanks for the tip. They have a 3.65 metere squared plastic dust sheet for just 95p
Ooh must find the anal virginity thread. I can't get any RLT until Thursday. Seems there is a national shortage. Fat too much July shagging.

So who is going to fess up to not being an anal virgin?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 20:01

Juw - i have bananas ,milk, honey, vanilla ice cram and sugar i could blitz one up if you like??

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 20:03

I'm afraid after that suppository nothing else has ventured that way. Much to the disappointment of one of my exes.

I remember a friend of mine calling me at work one morning to tell me she'd lost her anal virginity the night before. My colleague could see from my expression that I was involved in a particularly juicy conversation so she snuck over and put my phone on speaker. We didn't get much work done for the rest of the day. Turned out the vast majority of the office were not anal virgins.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 20:08

have you notices that our episode numbering system is being used on other AN threads??

OP posts:
LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 20:09

Never fear Smutty - none of them will ever chat as much as we do.
