Phew Nutty you are still there. Got paranoid.

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 15:19

I want to look now, but I'm scared. I think that reaction answers my question about whether it's obviously a plug, though

SpringySunshine · 16/03/2009 15:20

Oh, I'm still here Just being a bit quiet because DH will be home soon & I'm spending a bit of time getting things into a semblance of order & doing some laundry & whatnot.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 15:21

i think the size of it would rather depend on the size of the bit it plugs??

Springy - yup tis pretty obvious

??????????

Someone FILMED it????

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 15:24

My cake isn't going to get baked, and my spag isn't going to get bol'd if I continue to sit here like this. On a plus side, my small experiment with decoupage seems to have been successful, and I can now move onto Stage 2 - jungle animals for nursery door.

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 15:25

here. I have only watched the beginning seconds - something exciting might happen further in!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 15:27

Juw - nooooooo take it away!!!!!! i might be tempted to look!! gah!! [resisting emoticon]

It's scientific and everything. There's a petri dish.

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:28

Ju - are you doing a jungle themed nursery then?

I was in Homebase earlier and they had Zebra and Lion door-nobs. DD was really keen on them and I nearly caved in and got them for her cupboard doors, but I got her boring, sensible white porcelain in the end. Figured I will decide if and how to decorate the kids' room once I know if this one is a girl or a boy. In the meantime everything is boringly neutral.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 16/03/2009 15:30

but .......still......yuk.....

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:31

Not going anywhere near that You Tube thanks Ju.

Another great thing for jungle themed rooms is those flying parrot mobile things to hang from the ceiling. They have those at the swimming pool we go to and DD says hello to every single parrot as she swims around.

BabyBolat · 16/03/2009 15:31

OK Juw I just vomited in my mouth - that is disgusting - FWIW that looks very different to my discharge so thinking I am fine!!

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:32
Juwesm · 16/03/2009 15:33

Yes Lulu - we've got a load of stuff from the KidsLine Zanzibar range. I'm a real softy for anything with a giraffe on it! I have to prevent myself from buying more and more things, like doorknobs, and keep reminding myself that the LO won't even sleep in there for months, let alone worry about the pattern on the curtain pelmet! But it's soooooo cute, and gender neutral - we've done the walls green below the border and yellow above (it helped that we had leftover green and yellow tins of paint!).

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 15:35

Oh dear. Text from DH. "Have you made marmalade cake". Ooops. I did say I would.

bumpalump · 16/03/2009 15:37

Thank god DS has finally gone to sleep, thought I was never gonna get a rest today! A 2 yr old with soooo much energy and a 38wks preg lady....teehee lady? with no energy are finding it difficult to get along. How the hell am I gonna cope with 2?

Juwesm · 16/03/2009 15:42

Oh dear. Have just realised that promised cake recipe is chocolate-orange and have no good chocolate to cook with. Do you think I can get away with cheap chocolate augmented with G&B cocoa powder, or should I go to the shop for proper choc?

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:43

Ooooh Ju - also in Homebase they have giraffe glove puppets.

these are the sort of parrot mobile things I mean.

Ikea also have some very sweet neutral jungly things.

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:44

bumpalump - as I type my nearly 2 year old keeps stage diving off the arm of the sofa and doing a sort of roly poly over my head.

LuLuBai · 16/03/2009 15:45

Ju -how far is shop. Would have thought cocoa should do the trick.
