I think I shall keep this thread for when he is older!

pulapula · 05/02/2009 21:00

I love the thread title- makes me giggle and conjurs up a lovely naked-painting-willy-fiddling image!

frazzledoldbag · 05/02/2009 21:04

OH how I love a shiny new thread. Sorry haven't been on for a while - mega busy working (evenings too) but have just attempted to catch up and got a bit bamboozled by all the nappy chat. (and the willy chat - can't believe I'm going to have to deal with that soon........)
am ashamed to say I use ( horrified gasp) disposables.
Although my conscience is now bothering me.

Well in the spirit (ha ha) of tradition I'll be making cocktails shortly. Pina Colada (or perhaps taking in the tone of this new thread that should be Penis Colada!) anyone?

Watching 'Hustle' presently while the baby leaps about like a mad thing.

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:16

love the new title

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:32

frazzle no horrified gasps here... i keep some disposables in the cupboard too... they're handy to have around!

divedaisy · 05/02/2009 21:40

Oh we're over here already!! I posted onthe olde thread!

frazzled - you must be reading my mind - I'd just love a Bacardi Mojito. Mind you a 'Penis Colada'(as long as it's a blue one) would do lovely thank you! We should invent one that we could have after we all deliver safely in joint celebration!! Anyone know how cocktails work nicely?

Think I'll stay on this thread - nice and cosy!

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:40

just looked out the window and it's started snowing again... tuesdays melted, yesterdays melted today... so starting afresh again!

alapala · 05/02/2009 21:43

Cocktails Frazzled -this way!

Earlier I told my (visiting) dad that I was going to have a snack as I was going swimming. His suggestion to a pregnant woman on the way to do sport: a beer! What rock has he been hiding under??

divedaisy · 05/02/2009 21:44

Away to get a big cuppa tea and a gooseberry fruit fool for supper! Need to go and elevate my feet - getting a bit swollen

Have a nice evening - will see you al tomorrow.x

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:48

divedaisy lol that your flashing tactic worked!

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:51

I've just made myself a horlicks and i'm heading off to bed soon. DS woke us at 4.30 am chatting away happily in bed. I then kept waking up with a start going what time is it? not used to getting a lie in (as it turned out to be) as ds woke just before 9am.

flippineck · 05/02/2009 21:52

I just posted on the old thread, but you're here - hello ladies!

I've just had a cup of tea and a fondant fancy...amd a mini battenberg! Yum, but yuk to the heartburn now. Would a cocktail help do you think? Not a fan of blue drinks though, apart from raspberry slush puppies .

Lol at bump whiskers! Definitely quite fluffy here, and I was with DD too. Luckily it all disappeared after she was born but is reappearing now. I was too embarassed to ask any of my RL friends about this, so I'm glad you've mentioned it!

Lol at bump whiskers

llareggub · 05/02/2009 23:10

I always have bump whiskers...tis hormonal you know! Ironically I have fewer of them in pregnancy.

pulapula · 05/02/2009 23:24

Sausagenmash- not sure if you've had chance to CAT me yet- no sign of any emails from you. Let me know when you have so I can see if its worked.

chocolatebunnies · 06/02/2009 07:36

Hi Ladies,

Just tagging in the new thread.

Im getting a tad worried bout my size, I think Im getting to big, I've put on a stone now and thought that was ok but I had to go and be measured for a new bras (my normal one exploded and nearly took my eye out!No Joke!) and I have gone from a very flat 34b to a honking great 40c!!! I thought they were larger but not that much! Is this normal? I wasnt this big even at the end of my last pregnancy! Should I be scared?????

Ah bump whiskers, well thats a better name than "tummy pubes"! but yep I have them too, but I don't have the line down bump yet, I did first time round?

Hope everyone is ok, no snow here for me!

Chocolatebunnies

FiKelly · 06/02/2009 08:34

morning loads of snow here.. very unusually. still coming down thick and fast. dog was uber fast out this morning.. funny as his breed comes from tibet! he is one of the few breeds that have fur between the pads on their feet to cope with the snow.

chocolatebunnies re boobs.. you do go up about 4 rib sizes.. and cup too. i'm normally a 28/30 hh/J depending on brand. currently in nursing bras from ds.. 34K with ds i ended up a 36 rib.

flippineck · 06/02/2009 08:40

Chocolatebunnies - that weight gain sounds about normal - I've put on 16lbs so far (27 weeks today) and everything I've read suggests that's about average. I would however question your bra measurement - where were you measured? I would have thought that it would be unusual to go up that many back sizes at this stage, I think cup sizes tend to go up more first, and then the back size more towards the end when your ribs start expanding too. I might be wrong though, of course - everyone is different! I've gone from a 32E to a 34G so far, and expect to get bigger.

flippineck · 06/02/2009 08:42

Fi - 4 back sizes? Didn't know that! With DD I went from a 32E to a 36H, but was back to a 34 within a month or two of her being born.

llareggub · 06/02/2009 08:45

My boob size hasn't changed at all, although I haven't stopped breastfeeding DS yet so that is probably the reason. I don't think they changed significantly last time, maybe 1 cup size and a back size. Anyway, all of my bras still fit!

We have more snow this morning so I have abandoned plans to get DS's haircut. I do have to venture out to the postbox however as I have my healthcare grant in pregnancy form to post!

WobblyPig · 06/02/2009 08:55

Hello, long-time no post.

Thank goodness for that thought I was being complete greddy heffalump. Also put on almost a stone! was horrified. Sure I didn't put on this much with DS.
Do you put on more with girls? Boobs are bigger and certainly less attractive - I really don't like their colour . Does anyone feel attractive when pregnant? While skidding around on the ice and snow I am sure I look like an ice-skating water-buffalo in a hat.

flippineck · 06/02/2009 09:17

lol wobblypig - ice skating water buffalo! I think I've been looking like a weeble with walking boots! Not elegant at all in DH's waterproof coat and a bobble hat.

FiKelly · 06/02/2009 09:31

I also find my bra size varies depending on the brand/make sometimes even colour.. black ones always fit smaller for me that white! i've still got a few hook sets left on my 34 so it might last me this time.

Febes · 06/02/2009 09:44

Morning all. Lovely to have another new thread. (TMI alert) I have been suffering digestive discomfort. After having a stomach bug for past few weeks with diahorea I then have had constipation for past few days> I took 3 lots of latolose and went thank goodness but now piles have flared up- oh the joys of pregnancy!!
I need to make sure I watch what I eat to keep things moving regularly as it was awful.
I had my GD test on wednesday so I hope that everything is fine I will find out at my next AN check next monday.
