Yes but he is not attractive in anyway which upsets me as even tho Burke didn't do it for me, he was very strong and passionate and had lovely arms... Also frees up the top dog place for McDreamy - ok that settles it, you get a living Denny, Nutty gets McSteamy and I get McDreamy!

I bet he was so embarrassed when he left - which was probably why he reacted so badly - but it is horrible - I hate it at waterloo when everyone is rushing to their trains and you may as well be invisible!

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:06

What is it with everyone having lots of sex - even Boff who is in agony with SPD - have I missed that perk of the last trimester???!!

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:12

If you are all off doing it with your boys now I am going to have a three year old tantrum!!!

BoffinMum · 02/02/2009 20:12

DH is indeed home BB, but grumpy, because he spent 7 hours travelling doing the return trip to do 3 hours in the office and only two other people had shown up. His boss Mr Facetime wasn't even there.

Nookie with SPD is really difficult and ungainly, but you do get a blood rush afterwards, which helps mobility a bit!

SpringySunshine · 02/02/2009 20:13

Auld, could you send some stuff to a member of your family with more storage, perhaps? It's not ideal, but might avoid a row with MIL.

BoffinMum · 02/02/2009 20:14

Auld, what about one of those storage bags you hoover the air out of? We managed to do a family ski trip without checking in bags on Ryanair this way. It was amazing what we fitted in the hand luggage.

Springy that man was quite rude, it was good that you stuck up for yourself.

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:19

That is really bad Boff - your poor DH - tell him not to bother tomorrow either as trains are still running limited service! I felt guilty not making the 80mile (160mile round trip) in to work today but turns out NO ONE went in, even those that live in London just a zone away!

Ooh yes that are very good, you could do all your older / seasonal clothes in one and store them leaving more room for your booties x

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:21

Nutty your DH is right - really you have to stay rested until next week - no hobbling anywhere - If you do, then I will find out where your MIL lives and send her round to 'nurse' you!

And Boff, I didn't get any 'distractions' this Sunday...so there's no reason to throw a tantrum

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:22

And by nurse I mean the blue uniform, carer type not the milk suckling as that would just be very very wrong!!!

Bleu, I haven't had any this week! my poor DH - I am a horrible wife!

Bleuravin · 02/02/2009 20:23

Hmm Nutty I do think it wise to take it easy any way you can, if that means going into the hospital then that's the way to do it...

Nutty, have your muscles gone into spasm at all? Did they offer you oromorph?

AuldAlliance · 02/02/2009 20:28

OK, off to find some vacuum bags. I'd heard bad reports of them on here, but if Queen Boff says they're good, I'll buy that!

Sending stuff to family in the UK is a bit extravagant, really, for a huge pile of used muslin squares, pyjamas and bootees. (I am Scottish, remember, and therefore averse to forking out cash if I can avoid it )

Bleuravin · 02/02/2009 20:29

Oh BB, I'm sure you're not a horrible wife. DH and I have had very little distractions recently and we needed some quality time together as things have been a little tense between us because of it and other things.

BoffinMum · 02/02/2009 20:29

Ours rolled around rather than vaccummed closed, but worked on the same principle (i.e. had a valve).

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:31

My parents have all our old toys and clothes in them in the loft and they are amazing! have kept things really clean and small!

SpringySunshine · 02/02/2009 20:32

Fine, but if I'm having Denny I think I should be allowed to borrow the Mc'eamies sometimes, as a reward for being so generous.

I agree that he's not attractive, but then again he may grow to be - Patrick Dempsey isn't desperately physically attractive, but after falling in love with McDreamy...

& I wouldn't have minded so much if it was really crowded with everyone rushing, but there was another quarter of an hour until the train got in & he had most of the stairwell to himself.

I'm not having sex at the moment I doubt I will be tonight, either. DP forgot to take his medication yesterday & is now suffering the withdrawal from it, feeling really sick, etc. Which is a shame - I could really go for a bit of nookie.

Nutty, your DH sounds like a star. It's good that he knows what you need most & can provide it - both emotionally & physically.

BabyBolat · 02/02/2009 20:39

Oh see now I think he is beautiful! He would definitely be in my top three (along with Mr Depp)

How are things going with that Springy are the counseling sessions helping?

SpringySunshine · 02/02/2009 20:53

The counselling hasn't really started yet. He's had one session, where he had to repeat the original questionnaire (How Mental Are You, Scored Out Of Thirty?) on which he got 23 to begin with, but now got 3 - obviously a huge improvement. Then they had a bit of a chat about various things (I'm not quite sure what), but it's been decided that that lady will treat him for anger management stuff & he'll be referred to someone else for his other issues, but that referral will take 4 months or so.

Generally he's much, much better & I'm fully able to live with him at the moment. But I am worried about whether or not the counselling will make him worse before it makes him better, when he has to start delving into his past. & also a bit shocked at how much missing one day of medication has affected him - they must be really powerful.
