OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

MINNIE1 · 22/04/2005 14:52

george32,
I'm the 31st of dec too! (not for certain yet) This will be my first although i mc last year. Boobs are ache and growing.. but i am pretty excited and nervous at the same time.. god this is really happening!!!

golds · 22/04/2005 16:13

Welcome Minnie, glad youre OK kitstar.

Well thank you all for wishing me luck today, it must have worked.

Went for blood test and nurse phoned me at 2.30 today, my HCG levels have risen to 1252 Way Hey !!!!!!!!!! no wonder I'm tired and streey, going from 391 - 1252 in 5 days - I am so pleased.

Booked in for a scan at 1.45 next Friday to get a date from that, it would appear that I was about 1 week out, which would possibly make my EDD 19 December - my ds was 6 days late, if its the same again I will end up having it Christmas Day.

Felt brilliant when she phoned me and almost skipped up to school, bought some new trousers today, made sure they have elastic and draw string, can't wait to get hold of that Next directory

Thanks all for keeping me optimistic, it feels good to be able to share this news with you all.

Spacecadet · 22/04/2005 16:22

ebbie22 · 22/04/2005 17:35

I am in bedfordshire but dh works in h.wycombe..

NotTellingYet · 22/04/2005 18:18

Have you all being seeing your GP's rather than a midwife at this stage? Last time around I did that and just got told "make an appointment with the midwife at 8 weeks" - no confirmation of dates or anything. So am not sure whether I'd be wasting the GP's time to see them, or just to phone and ask for a booking in appointment with the midwife? I guess it depends upon the ante-natal system in your area - here it seems to be community midwife for most of it, and a couple of appointments at the hospital thrown in.

golds · 22/04/2005 18:23

I went to see the doctor, all he did was make a note of it and gave me a phone number to ring the midwife after 8 weeks. Where I used to live (Milton Keynes) the doctor did it all for me.

dramaqueen72 · 22/04/2005 18:43

evening ladies golds, glad youre news was so good! how lovely!
nemo, I think i know exactly what you mean, i feel 'not quite with it' iykwim! abit vague.....
i seem to wak every morning full of the joys of spring and happy.then by now (6.30pm) i am sad and somewhat depressed. maybe tis because i'm tired and my house hold is so busy this time of day, but i feel so utterly low, I cant help thinking what if its all gone wrong already? i know to some of you that sounds abit drastic, but i've had two scans now where they find the baby had stopped growing and isnt alive. and i ahdnt a clue before hand. so its hard to feel positive 24/7. i guess I need to feel REALLY pg to reassure myself, rent my doppler later and all that. its just now, this early limbo phase, is so worrying. i'm sorry to be abit down just hoping you can relate somewhat.

Lua · 22/04/2005 21:46

Sorry to thread crash, but just want to say congratulation to Golds. I'm from the June thread but have been lurking around to see how sweetheart was getting along.... Anyhoo, since the first time I hear your story I had a feelng that you wer OK! and now I'm really glad you are! Good luck to you and all the other due in december!

Beckymumof3 · 23/04/2005 11:37

Hi there. I have found out yesterday that I am expecting baby no.4 probably around the 29th December. I started reading the posts but got confused. Could someone post a list of names and dates for me? Currently only suffering sore breasts and no morning sickness which is my normal pregnancy experience so I expect all going well. Look forward to sharing this with you guys & hearing others stories. Bye for now (what does BFP mean?)

Beckymumof3 · 23/04/2005 11:42

Oh, don't worry about the list I just spotted the recent one. Thanks.

Nemo1977 · 23/04/2005 12:47

dramaqueen72 · 23/04/2005 13:18

hello becky and afternoon nemo welcoem aboard becky...i'm also expecting baby no.4 tho this will be my sixth pg. how old are your other three?
the lack of syptoms gets you down sometimes doesnt it? (see my last night depressed post!)but i reassure myself i'm only five weeks today and feel quite sick after attempting baked potato for lunch. m/s usually doesnt kick in for til wk 6-8. and then it stays for ages!!! i am very very tired tho.......
nemo, hun, sorry you werent well, take it easy today. ((hugs))

Beckymumof3 · 23/04/2005 16:57

My children are 10, 5 and 4. I normally sail through pregnancy without many symptoms (apart from huge weight gain and huge sore boobs!!!) so I am not down about it. Just rather shocked as this wasn't exactly planned - but swiftly turning to excitement (those pregnancy hormones are wonderful aren't they!). Oh yes, I do eat a lot of ice when pregnant and I certainly have that craving back with a vengeance.

dramaqueen72 · 23/04/2005 17:08

so new user name for you soon then? mine our 13, 10 and nearly 2.....LOL,so i have stroppy teens AND terrible twos all under one roof!

golds · 23/04/2005 17:13

Congratulations Becky wow this thread is filling up.

I have got this MAD craving on kinder happy hippos and Mcoys flame grilled steak crisps. Must be the mixture of sweet & savory. I better stop soon otherwise I will be huge.

Been feeling well today although my chest is quite sore, I'm dreading them growing much bigger, they are already huge theyve gone up a size with each PG and not gone back down aaahhhhh !!!!!

Hope you are all well.

Yes, change of name coming up soonish.

george32 · 24/04/2005 06:54

Morning everyone & big congrats to Becky .
DQ, I can completely relate to what you said about feeling down. Started yesterday full of the joys of spring as we told our parents but by the evening was really low. I'm so willing the weeks by and am going to be terrified at the early scan.
Still no symptoms (but 4+1 so still early) but did have to stop eating my lunch yesterday as it suddenly didn't seem appetising. Couldn't tell if this was queasyness or just me being picky . Am terribly tired though. Sorry you've been struck by m/s Nemo.
Golds, have you still got a daft grin on your face after your news on Friday?

Really must stop taking my temp now. Can't seem to go back to sleep after doing it (at 6.15am) now I'm p/g so end up being awake really early. I'm drinking cammomile tea to try to send me off to sleep again!!
