Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

It's happend to me too babygibbon - and I stopped BFing 3 years ago! In fact it was the first (and so far only) symptom, even before AF was due.

scully · 20/04/2005 13:17

I'm sure all weight will fall off once we have a little person to run around after (or another little person in some cases!)

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:26

thats wishful thinking scully - all those coffee mornings with biscuits (plus children sit still for the first few months)

After I had dd I went back down to my normal size vary quickly - it was after I had her that I started to pile on the weight. Still I got married and then contentment set it - I think that was my problem.

I'm gonna hopefully pop this one out and hit the gym to try and regain my pre-baby figure!!!

babygibbon · 20/04/2005 13:27

Arggh, sorry Sweetheart, I didn't mean to come across like that. I was just trying to say what was recommended. I put on a whopping 4 stone with my last baby (lost all but one), so I'm hardly one to talk! Determined not to do it again though...I miss my old clothes and don't want to still be losing weight 10 months after the birth of this one.

Throughout my last pregnancy I got so many rude comments about my weight, along the lines of are you expecting twins, surely you're further along than that, my it's going to be a whopper etc. I really didn't want all that this time, but I guess I don't have a choice if I'm already showing!

Do you feel funny talking about these December babies? I feel nervous - it all seems so early and fragile.

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:27

NotTellingYet - are you new. I haven't seen you post before.

Whats your due date so I can add you to our list?!?!?!

Nemo1977 · 20/04/2005 13:28

lol scully my weight did fall off after having ds but soon piled on again during the inactie stages..luckily he started walking at 8.5 mths so has kept me busy since then...lol

As for counting in weeks n half weeks...ive been counting in days So I am 5wks and 5days pregnant..pmsl

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:30

babygibbon - I was only joking - no offence taken - I'm just jelous

I feel very nervous speaking about the babes - don't want to get my hopes up I suppose.

I think I'll feel more relaxed after next week - we are getting the post mortum results of the baby we lost in January. That should tell us if the heart condition the last baby died of could effect this baby too.

Nemo1977 · 20/04/2005 13:31

babygibbon i feel very nervous talking about them as this is my 5th pregnancy but only have one ds and a bean at the min....just hope they r all sticky beans and we are cursing going into labour on xmas day...lol

scully · 20/04/2005 13:34

If I'm due on 17/12, am I 5wks+4 or 5wks+5??
I don't think staying home afterwards with no time to prepare decent meals does anyone any favours! Last time at least it was Spring/Summer so I walked everywhere I could. Can't see that happening quite as much this time, with it being December and having a 3yr old in tow!

ChaCha · 20/04/2005 13:35

Am gatecrashing but then i am a 1st Decemberer afterall...
Just wanted to say hello and Congrats to all the new Dec's and good luck to us all in the early stages xxx

NotTellingYet · 20/04/2005 13:37

sweetheart - yep, 16th December officially (although I'm pretty sure it's a couple of days earlier due to a short cycle and knowing when it happened IYSWIM).

scully · 20/04/2005 13:38

Also nervous thinking about the baby just yet, given it's such early days, but other than checking this site at work , I don't think it too much yet. Except when I need a drink at around 8.00pm most evenings, and remember there's a good reason I can't

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:39

Nemo, I'm glad you posted - was proving to be a bit of a brain teaser for me!!! lol

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:40
