Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

expatinscotland · 19/04/2005 14:39

Congrats, beag!

Anyone else's cervix bothering? I had a LEEP a few years ago, and my cervix is soooo sore!! I'll ask the GP about it tomorrow when I see her and hopefully have it checked out. Youch!

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 14:49

congrats Beag - saw your other thread and wondered if you'd come over.

There are lots of us on here that have had past troubles and are finding this time tough - we're all very friendly and supportive and I hope you find some comfort here.

So sorry for you loss but also congrats on the new bean - here's hoping for a better outcome

ebbie22 · 19/04/2005 16:55

goldenoldie · 19/04/2005 17:03

Nemo/sweetheart - bored at work too. Feel so knackered I could just put my head on desk and start snoring.

Welcome beag.

Brighteyes · 19/04/2005 17:08

Just noticed your name on this thread ebbie22. Am really pleased for you, hope the conception book and thermometer were of some assistance. Best wishes to you and the rest of the ladies on this thread for your christmas babies.

ebbie22 · 19/04/2005 17:10

Yeah they were brighteyes, took a while to get the hang off though, the bk was great.have given it t my friend in hope it brings her as much luck..
How are you doing?havent heard from you in a long time, where have you been hiding?

Brighteyes · 19/04/2005 17:14

Doing pretty good ebbie. If you forget the high blood pressure, low iron levels, glucose in urine and a baby to big to be delivered naturally, wow the joys of pg . Well only 4 weeks to go.

Hope your friend gets lucky.

dramaqueen72 · 20/04/2005 07:51

oh blimey, three days with no computer and I havent a hope in catching up with you all! I've got the due when list, so i can try!
hope everyones well, I'm feeling dizzy/sick constantly, which is very un-nerving, but a good sign i guess. bloating and changing shape going on rapidly (well, after more than one baby it tends to doesnt it!)so struggling with my jeans already.........anyone at that point? i ahve one pair of jeans that are the next size up form normal, and tho they are too big everywhere else they are comfy across my tummy so i have to live in them.
nemo, how are you today? thanks for missing me

Nemo1977 · 20/04/2005 08:40

morning all

DQ yes I am rapidly expanding to...i look about 4mths gone not nearly 6wks. Feel ill especially through the night when things are repeating on me..lovely i know.

Take care all

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 08:41

morning

I have also noticed that I am busting out all over!!!! I haven't put on that much weight - about 5Ibs I think - but it's enough to make a significant difference.

So much so I'm going to the gym at lunchtime - oh the joys!!!!

ebbie22 · 20/04/2005 09:03

Morning all,Hope everyone feels ok,Cant believe Brighteyes that your nearly ready......
I feel a bit better than yesterday but still have pains.....

dramaqueen72 · 20/04/2005 09:15

well made 'official' drs appointment. was going to put it off, as thought you know before six weeks what can they do. but decided i'd better get on the books now. feeling rough this morning, uh-oh! thank goodness other people are feeling 'bigger', i just KNOW by the time my bloating subsides i will be showing anyhow!

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 09:51

Just relised I'm another 1/2 week pregnant

It's going soooo slowly - and I think it's quite sad that I'm counting in half week - it's like being a kid again

"I'm 6 and 3/4's"!!!!!!!!!!! Like every day counts towards being a grown up!!

scully · 20/04/2005 10:02

yes, definitely a downside to finding out so early, makes the 1st trimester seem to take forever!!
had my first little bout of nausea yesterday, only for an hour and nothing too bad. clothes still fitting ok, don't think I can blame it on the baby just yet, more my lack of exercise

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 10:11

my clothes are still fitting but I've got loads of excess body spilling out everywhere - my boobs have got massive too!!!!

hence my guilt laden visit to the gym toady.

I wish I was feeling more nautious than I am - anything for a good sign. Still I suppose the really sore boobs count.

chocolatefudge · 20/04/2005 10:23

I haven't had sore boobs even when i had my first. I felt really nauseous last night in bed though i remember the last time the morning sickness didn't come on till i was 3 months pregnant. Have a tickly cough aswell which is annoying. Last night i dreamt i was having triplets but in one of the sacs nothing was there never dreamt of this before LOL hope i don't have twins as me and hubby both cracked open a double egg yolk a few months ago LOL I'm counting my weeks!! i really can't wait to have my first scan and know that baby is fine.

scully · 20/04/2005 10:25

yep, got those too! seem to be getting bigger by the day. remember that last time too - had to go bra shopping before we hold anyone. they calmed down eventually though, until the milk arrived

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 10:36

I got big boobs with my dd - I've lost quite a bit of weight since having her and ,y boobs were dissapearing - it's quite nice to have them back - like old chums visiting

beag · 20/04/2005 10:49

morning

i didnt really loose much of my excess weight since December so I think I am going to be huge!! I dont really feel that pregnant! had to do another test to make sure..

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 10:53

beag - snap here. I had a baby in Jan and had put on half a stone (in the 16 weeks I was pregnant) I hadn't managed to get off those Ibs and now I've put on 5 (in the last 7.5 weeks)

So all in all for 7 weeks preg I'm now 12Ibs overweight God thats loads - I hadn't relised it was that much

Oh now I'm depressed

chocolatefudge · 20/04/2005 12:06

When does the weight start to pile on as i'm 7 and a half weeks pregnant my weight hasn't changed!

babygibbon · 20/04/2005 12:30

First timers shouldn't be putting on weight yet (although I put on a little, not because of the baby but because I thought it was a great excuse to eat, and eat...)

I've actually lost 4lbs since I found out I was pregnant again, mainly because I'm eating so much more healthily now. But then I am still carrying an extra stone from my last pregnancy, and even though I've lost weight, you can already see my baby bulge - doctor said my tummy muscles just weren't up to the job . I'm still wearing my normal trousers but they're v. tight...

Here's something strange. I stopped breastfeeding DD about 2-3 months ago, but about a week ago my milk came back slightly (just a little bit leaking out) (sorry if this is too much info), is this normal, has anyone else experienced this?

scully · 20/04/2005 12:55

sounds like it could be normal babygibbon, given your hormones are all over the place right now. I stopped bf too long ago to know personally though
I also haven't put on any weight yet, wouldn't mind losing 1 or 2kg though

sweetheart · 20/04/2005 13:13

ok, rub it in why don't you I'm a fat bloater aren't I - mind you, I only have to look at food and the calories jump put and stick to me

With my 1st I didn't put on much weight at all - in fact by 5months I was wishing and wishing for a bump to show.
