OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

golds you would have had more bleeding in all honsty if you were misscarying, normally some cramps too, also if your cervix was still closed and the bleeding had stopped that is a good sign, so is the positive preg test, although it is poss to have hormones left over, i would say that you were just a little far back in your dates to the heart beat to show, good luck for weds, i know this is easier said than done but try to worry too much..I know you will!!!its not unusual to have a bit of bleeding early in preg.

Spacecadet · 18/04/2005 16:35

its agood sign if you still feel sick and tired too

Nemo1977 · 18/04/2005 16:44

golds i cant believe they didnt do internal scan...anything before 8'9 wks is not likely to be seen externally. If you were mc naturally then you would be having bleed like very very heavy af and with clots.

ChaCha · 18/04/2005 19:03

Golds, hopefully everything's going to be okay, just hang on in there and think positive best you can
I think i am going to have to transfer to your thread ladies, or maybe i can keep jumping between the two. After today's scan my date has moved from 27th November to 1st December, so guess i'm a December lady then??????
I am 8 weeks today according to scan number 2.

Enthusia · 18/04/2005 19:14

Please don't move - well not completely, without you and JenJam, I don't think I'd post anymore!!!!

chocolatefudge · 18/04/2005 19:22

Awww Golds hope your ok you might still be pregnant! See what they say on Wednesday.

I've pcos and when i had my first baby scan they couldn't find anything so gave me an internal where we saw a little bean.

Went to the doctors this afternoon to confirm my pregnancy and he said i'm due 2nd Dec!! and he will forward my notes onto hospital and a midwife will contact me in a few weeks. I don't think my date is right but we'll find out on our first scan.

babygibbon · 18/04/2005 19:43

Hello. Just joining this thread, found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant with number two, due, I think 24th December (although I have to confirm it with our GP - appt tomorrow). Congratulations to everyone else due in December (and commiserations to those with problems). I have to confess to being more than a little nervous about holding on to this one. I've read lots of stuff about how second babies are often difficult to conceive / more likely to result in miscarriage etc. I've told 3 people including DH and won't be telling anyone else until we reach 12 weeks, or I begin to obviously show, whichever comes first (is it just my flabby tummy muscles, or could I already have a very small bump? I know the second is supposed to show earlier, but this is ridiculous...does anyone else have a slight bump yet?)

Anyway, good luck all

babygibbon · 18/04/2005 19:44

I forgot to say - good luck for Wed, Golds.

Uki · 19/04/2005 02:12

Hi All
Congratulations to you all I am crashing from june thread, so special CONGRAT's to sweetheart, WoW you concieved so quick!!! Obviously all meant to be. How exciting

My thoughts will be with you as i know it will probably be a slightly nervous few months, I also said i would not relax until 24 weeks (after 2 previous m/c's) It's very hard but i strongly recommend the services of hospital counsellor if needed, I relaxed and felt much better after letting out my fears.

Good luck to Golds as well

scully · 19/04/2005 09:41

Uki, 2.12am, why??
Although, I could have joined you an hour later, just not sleeping very well between 3-5am, tossing and turning. Never normally have this problem, even when my night walker dd comes to visit several mornings a week
Good luck for tomorrow Golds
I agree Babygibbon, this is also no2 for me and having read more and had friends who have had problems with no2, makes me more nervous this time round.

goldenoldie · 19/04/2005 09:57

Golds - can't beleive they did not do an internal. You would never see anything yet on an ordinary scan.

Good luck for tomorrow.

scully · 19/04/2005 10:45

Anyone else bored at work today??

Nemo1977 · 19/04/2005 10:48

Hi not bored in work but bored at home..lol Feel so sick and have still just had 2 pancakes.

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 10:52

Hello, I'm always bored at work!!!!

My boss is in this morning but he never stays long so I'm hoping he'll go away and give me some peace later - it's so crap having to smile through gritted teeth when all you really want to do is curl up in a ball and go to sleep.

I'm trying to be more healthy and seeing as I'm constantly hungry at the moment I've replaced our biscuit tin with a fruit tray - which has actually had a good reaction from most in the office which is good.

Well I do have some work to do but I'll be hanging around all day.

I've got a horrible taste in my mouth today which is making me feel horrible.

Oh and thanks for all the well wishes by the way Esp from all those lovely due in June ladies!!!

ebbie22 · 19/04/2005 11:00

Hello, hope you all had a nice weekend,I havent been feeling great today, really bad stomach cramps didnt last for very long but made me feel really faint and was sweating like never before,is this normal?
I feel loads better now but am concerned as still dont feel overly pregnant...

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 11:02

ebbie - I'd say if you have stomach cramps, feeling faint and are sweating you probably need to go and do a big poo

Sorry to be so gross!!!!

scully · 19/04/2005 11:08

as my dd says, 'do you like poo mummy?'

ebbie22 · 19/04/2005 11:24

Thanks for the advice,i went just after the pains, and do feel etter,do you think that was all it was then?

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 11:35

I would think so - it's something I've been suffering with

scully - my dd stands in the cubical of public toilets with me and shots "mummy are you having a poo?"

followed by.....

"urrgghh you stink"

I can always here other people giggling

God bless our kids ey!!!

scully · 19/04/2005 12:03

That's hilarious Sweetheart!! She hasn't done it in public yet, but I'm often asked at home!!
If you feel better Ebbie, sounds like that's what it was.

Nemo1977 · 19/04/2005 12:42

also been suffering with the cramps which immediately followed by a poop or fart

Think its quite normal tbh

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 12:44

I feel like a ping pong ball at the moment - constantly flying from one extreame to the other where constipation and the other is concerned!!!!

Wish I could just get back to being regular!!!

Sorry - thats TMI isn't it!!!

Nemo1977 · 19/04/2005 13:02

SH mention away as it makes me feel less alone...probably doesnt help that everytime i do go i have an 18mth old as an audience...lol

sweetheart · 19/04/2005 13:09

lol - I'm not too bothered about my dd watching now - it was before when I was on my af and dd was always asking questions about that!!!

How do you explain periods and tampons to a 4 year old

btw, I know it may seem like it but my dd isn't totally obsessed by toilets

Papillon · 19/04/2005 13:16
