buyalexsmummy so of you having a scan. Good luck i hope all is well

BEKsmum · 18/03/2005 09:34

mornign all, good luck busyalexmummy, very that you've got a scan, don't think I'll get one before my nuchal at 12 weeks or so (boo hoo)

cp3 I feel like you, I don't really feel pregnant at all, I know I'm only 7 weeks and that the signs aren't really there yet, but it does play on my mind that I don't feel pregnant, not really tired, even though not sleeping at night and only a bit of nausea, but I've also got a stinking cold, cough & sorethroat so put the rough feeling down to that.

Got to be honest I don't think I knew this early with ds so may be working myself up about nothing.

Hope you all have a good day.

rodeo1 · 18/03/2005 10:04

Morning All,

Best wishes for the scan Busyalexmummy! Read last night that the embryo at 7 weeks is as big as an olive! how cute!!

Hooray it's Friday! Off now to do some online banking - ooh the excitement. Going to buy The Incredibles today for ds with some of his leftover b'day money, so may get a bit of peace when dd comes home from school - before I go to work at 7.30! x x x

i wondered if any of you knew of any other good pregnancy websites? what else are you all looking on?

BEKsmum · 18/03/2005 11:03

Diddle, www.babycentre.co.uk is very good & they will send you weekly updates as to the stage of your pregnancy and then right through after the birth for as long as you ant them.

Emmas Diary is also ok but nothing special.

BEKsmum · 18/03/2005 11:04

I mean want them

This is a fun site with a clairvoyant that predicts your birth experience.

Madame Zaritska

tex111 · 18/03/2005 11:36

This is what Madame Zaritska has to say for me:

"The day you deliver, outside will be sunny. Your baby will arrive in wee hours of the morning .

After a labor lasting approximately 20 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 10 pounds, 14 ounces, and will be 21-1/2 inches long. This child will have dark brown eyes and some very fine hair. "

Holy cow, that is a big baby!

rodeo1 · 18/03/2005 12:16

Haha! Just done it Tex!

She predicts - On the day I give birth the weather will be blustery, my labour will be 23 hours long, I will have a boy, weighing 6lb 15oz, and he will have brown hair and brown eyes!

How funny. Although I always cheat on those things and do it over and over again! Did it about 6 times, predicted a boy 5 times - I don't think my house will cope with another boy! x x

cp3 · 18/03/2005 12:16

Well she got mine wrong. Said i will have a two hour labour in evening a will be a boy. He will wiegh 7 3 and it will be overcast out side

I know i will be having a c section in the morning.

Unless i go into labour and its done at night i supose.

twinkle1 · 18/03/2005 12:26

hmmm doubtful of mine she had me in labour for hours but i will be having a section!!!! good fun though. I do wonder if im having a boy or girl??? mind you i already have one of each, so i am lucky i guess

yingers74 · 18/03/2005 14:00

LOL, I did it and this is what she said -
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive at night.

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and a little patch of brown hair.

Went to gps today to let them know I was pregnant, was surprised how nice the GP was as I had expected to get a ticking off for getting pregnant straight after a M/C. Anyway, she referred me to queen charlottes and thought I had a good chance of sticking this time, fingers crossed. She thought I would probably get an early appointment as they would want to work out the due date.

tex111 · 18/03/2005 16:04

This is a gender predictor based on the Chinese Lunar Chart. It was right for DS but I guess they do have pretty good odds of getting it right.

Chinese Gender Prediction

twinkle1 · 18/03/2005 16:31

well the chinese predictor was right for both Ds & DD and predicting a girl this time!!! maybe there is something in it

Diddle · 18/03/2005 18:46

I think the hormones have started to kick in, hubbie has told me what an ogre i am becoming, and can't believe how ratty i am, and i have almost been in tears watching Home and Away, how sad. Hope everyone else is ok.

cp3 · 18/03/2005 19:03

Think i may be stupid. What time zone do we put in

peepee · 18/03/2005 19:41

Busyalexsmummy I was thinking of you today. How did you get on? I really hope they gave you good news.

CP3I have been better today, thanks for asking.

DH is home for the week-end. He made a sneaky visit to GP for advice. GP has said to not think about the EPU as the discharge is so light and irregular (once/twice a day max) and that I would no if it was a m/c etc as I have expereinced it B4. I am pleased as I really did not want to go for a scan. I just associate it with m/c's as I have always had one after an internal and prior to that there was always a heart beat. Just coincidence I am sure but I can't help it.
Gonna have a quiet relaxing evening snuggled to my DH. Enjoy the week-end. Lets hope the weather keeps up. Oh, just to add to everything else I have got the flu type bug that has been going around. I daren't take anything. Just herbal teas with lemon..........

busyalexsmummy · 18/03/2005 21:52

went for the scan today, had blood tests, little early
to see much but there may be two!!!???!! either that or
she said it sould be a shadow of where the baby has
implanted, i certainly hope the latter is the case!!!!,
have to go for more bloods on monday, they will then
anlyse the results in comparison, ring me to let me
know wether they think everythings ok, then I will be
given anougher scan date for 1 or 2 weeks time. They said my levels should be around 600 today and hope that mondays bloods will have doubled at the least to approx 1000 or more which gives an indication or wether the pregnany may be a success or wether m/c is likely.
have
written a letter to dp explaining my feelings and will
be giving it to him tonight when hes back from work,
will keep everyone updated xxx

HellKat · 19/03/2005 08:32

Morning all.
Glad to here everyone's doing well apart from this bug. Thankfully we have'nt had yet! (fingers crossed we don't).
Just did that chinese prediction thingy and apparently we're having another boy. Did the other one too.
What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the morning.

After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and will be 18-1/2 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and a lot of hair.

Lol!!! Too funny.
We're doing well here. Still no sickness. Cravings have died down and can't help eating loads of fruit! (makes me think it could be a boy again). Have our early scan on Monday to make sure everyhting's ok (feel fab and very pg) then have the dating scan on the 18th April. Very busy next two months for us (and expensive!). Ds2 has his 1st b'day on April 1st then ds1 is hitting the big 13 on May 12th!
Trying to get the garden all nice and get planting for the summer (moved here Feb 17th and previous people were filthy and let everything go to pot). But all coming along nicely.
Diddle- My dp says I've been a total cow lol. So made a concious effort not to snap. With the result, had an amazing two days. Been very nice (plus me being nice means he's been giving me lots of pampering ).
Take care all and get well soon to all the poorly bunnies out there!

twinkle1 · 19/03/2005 10:59

morning everyone hope u are all ok!! weather here is lovely so i am going to do the garden, im feeling really well today. hope u all have a great day twinkle1

cp3 · 19/03/2005 14:04

Afternoon everyone. Its beautifull in Berkshire. shame i have this rotton flu bug. Feel really bad but i dont feel pregnant. Gonna test again as i need reasuurrance. Does that sound mad????

Diddle · 19/03/2005 16:03

Doesn't sound mad at all, I found out 2 weeks ago and did 4 tests now i am doing one a week just to make sure M/c previous pregnancy so i think i'm paranoid, but i'd rather check for my piece of mind.
Do as many tests as you want. Its lovely here in the midlands too, got my feet up watching TV. Feeling bloated and full.

yingers74 · 19/03/2005 20:40

cp3, dont worry about it, we all do it. before i went to see gp to tell her, i took a pregnancy test to double check i was not making it up!

HellKat · 20/03/2005 06:19

Morning all.
Cp3- If you have a poundland near you, they do pg tests for a quid!! That's why we were able to use lots last time and this time
Diddle- Whereabouts in the Midlands are you? We're in Kettering (East Midlands).
So far I've managed to put on 1/4 of a stone so I'm making an effort not to eat junk no more. But was funny last night. Boobs started leaking already! I think it's because I only had ds2 in April last year because My milk never came through until the 7th month both with ds1 and 2.
Have a great day all.
